    Thanks for the upload man. Been driving myself crazy looking at all the different table saws out there. This video pushed me over the fence to buy grizzly. Thanks.

    I have the original g771, converting to 240V really brings out the capability of this saw. Starts faster and doesn't bog down.

    This Grizzly saw is a 2 HP not 1-3/4. This saw has more power and cuts better than all of the 1-3/4 HP saws like the Sawstop contractor saw, Powematic hybrid saw, Baileigh industrial hybrid saw, laguna hybrid saw, and Rikon hybrid saw. The Grizzly is also cheaper than every one of those to boot. The only other saws that are comparable in power and price are the Shop Fox and Woodtek hybrid saws, but even they are a bit more expensive though. This Grizzly is hands down one of the best hybrid saws on the market.

      Grizzly uses Leeson motors as well whereas many of the other brands cut corners and use cheap motors

    Looks like the updated fence system is a nice improvement over the older fence :-)

      Maybe but it's noisy as hell when he moved it. Is that due to all the sawdust buildup?

    Can you elaborate on moving the fence "one bolt hole"? How much was that and what was the rip capacity then? Looks like you put it back to original position.

    After several years of use would you still buy this saw again? How has the accuracy of the fence been since you bought it? Thanks for the review!

    I've had nothing but issues from one of their products. My wife and I drove over 5 hours, and spent over $1200 at the Grizzly showroom in Missouri. Honestly the showroom is amazing. The product I got...not so much. I've had over 10 separate issues including defective, and back ordered parts sent to me. Grizzly did offer me $100 to keep the pos 😂😂😂. I like high quality tools, and won't hesitate to spend the money on them. SCM, felder, festool, saw stop etc. I like decent hand tools such as snap on, Milwaukee, dewalt, and I even think husky is decent due to being able to swap tools easily when they break one the job. We even have some harbor freight tools that I think are very very good. My experience with grizzly has been that of a dollar store drill press. Not to mention they will not post my review on their actual website.

      WeLoveWoodworking sorry to hear that. Two table saws and a jointer have worked great for me. Great customer service, fast shipping and great warranty’s (that I haven’t had to use). Sorry you’ve had such a bad experience

      Grizzly tools are the best bang for the buck. My lathe (G0766) has been outstanding, so has my table saw.

    would you purchase this saw again,,i have been looking at this one and the delta 36-735 that lowes sells and I like the fence system on delta but I have heard horror stories about deltas customer service,,,but if you look at the you tube videos on the saw everyone seems to not have any complaints other than the instructions aren't too good

    • @keycitywoodworks
      @keycitywoodworks  5 років тому +1

      jeff oldham deltas have, and continue to be great saws. However, you do tend to pay a considerable bit more for them. As I’ve said Before, it’s my honest opinion that no one can touch the quality of this saw in this price bracket. In short, I’d absolutely buy it again

    that table and trunnion assembly is exactly the same as my rigid table saw. i know this because i just had mine apart for bearing replacements. the blade insert is the same. the cast top looks identical. i wonder if the motors are the same?

      @@rfmcqueen72 hey...sorry for the late reply. Cabinet mounted.

    • @lyric.kayden

      Ohio Outdoors well actually they are not the same but share a bit of similarities only in the top casting but not underneath. The Ridgid is using trunnions that mount to the cast iron top and the Grizzly uses cabinet mounted trunnions. Now the tops are very similar and possibly made in the same factory but again there are slight differences underneath because of the mounting locations for the trunnions. I believe the throat plates are the same thickness so again possibly same factory but Grizzly takes it up a notch by mounting the trunnions in the cabinet and not mounting them to the top underneath as the Ridgid. Both great saws but again trunnion assembly isn’t the same. A quick google search will show the Ridgid using trunnions mounted to the bottom of the cast iron top and the Grizzly will show the the trunnions mounted to the cabinet. Now the previous model the Grizzly G0777 without the “Z” did use trunnions mounted to the cast iron top like the Ridgid but the newer model they upgraded the trunnions to cabinet mounted trunnions. This is assuming your speaking of the R4512 or the newer R4520. I believe the older model the R4511 possibly used trunnions mounted to the cabinet but if it is the R4511 with cabinet mounted trunnions than the tops are not the same.

    • @lyric.kayden
      @lyric.kayden 4 роки тому

      Zachary Dixon totally incorrect Zachary, a quick google search will show without a doubt that the Ridgid R4512 uses trunnions mounted to the cast iron top and not to the cabinet like the Grizzly G0771Z.
