Honestly, while I do believe this looks like a fun ship, unless this is in a token event, I will probably not actively try and get this ship. The Lyon,s guns are not exactly the most punchy things at tier 7, and now that the ship is at tier 8, it’s going to be an even bigger problem, though admittedly the rapid reload helps. Plus if you play the ship like a battlecruiser or super cruiser. This could work better. I don’t know
It would have been interesting to see that hypothetical design with five quadruple turrets, 20 main guns broadside on a BB that's something to be seen 1:49
I'm kind of glad I didn't, honestly, since I'd have felt obliged to regularly produce content, and right now I can barely manage a video or two on Blitz. But earmarked for the future. I'm a huge Star Trek fan, especially TNG, I basically grew up with Picard on TV. It's such an essential part of my teen years. DS 9 was brilliant, and I did enjoy Voyager, but anything after that wasn't my cup of tea anymore.
@@FunandGameswithTerry It's a TNG event. With Picard, Gowron, Sela, and Spock being captains. The D'Kyr and Bortas are available as well as CV-6 Enterprise and the Galaxy Class skin for it.👍🏽

I'd say it depends on your style. The secondary range is pretty good, but the armour won't hold up. In that regard, she plays just like most other French ships - hit & run. This is not a ship to trade broadsides at 7km. It's about positioning, mobility, and preserving your HP while finding targets to dish out damage against. It's in the "easy 100k" category for me, which is a good tentpole metric in higher tiers, but that damage comes mostly from the mains. Don't get me wrong, the secondaries are actually good, but you're not going to get a 50/50 split like on ships like Odin.
Hyuga is the more fun ship tier for tier, RR III is op as hell in t7. Not to mention the guns do more damage, deal a lot of citadels and have good pen. You’re not as maneuverable tho
I'd probably avoid a 1v1 against an Atlantico (just like in most other battleships), but otherwise, definitely utilise the range and stay out of secondary. That'll impact the hit rate, but long-range HE spam with the 305s until the fires stick, then switch to AP, would be my approach. You have a 5kt speed advantage over her, so you can dictate engagement range.

Similar to how I play Black Republique. Not as many guns, but it can do a considerable amount of damage in mid-range. Can just blap opponents.
