I appreciate ur detailed and honest review. Im a beginner, not licensed as well, but keep going back between KS or YN dust collectors, i was ready to take the plunge on YN but was afraid that it wouldn’t be as strong as KS but u r so right, if i am going to be using occasionally then KS is not the way to go for now! I do own KS brushes, acrylic powders, and dappen dish and i looove their products but yes the dust collector is quite pricy for my needs.
I got the blue dust collector to go with my blue KS lamp! I love how their products are acetone-resistant and high quality. I ruined my Young Nails lamp cleaning it, and I can already tell their dust collector isn’t as strong as the KS one.
I have it, and I just started using it yesterday . It does seem to work pretty well, and it certainly sounds louder on your video than it actually sounds when I'm using it. Great video. You got some good shots, and people can see how the machine actually works❤

This dust collector is absolutely amazing with all its features, I really would love to get one one day and I am a licensed nail technician, but my clientele is not big enough to invest that money and hope I make it back Double. Thats me, I only have so many clients, not enough to make that kinda money back soon enough. I would like to eventually get it, only because I have the drill, I'm working on getting the lamp, and I want it all to match. But that price is just ridiculous. (It was for the drill too, and is for the lamp, but I got sucked in lol. They are so pretty)...... I found a dappin dish on shein that's a dupe for the KS square, glass dappin dish and its only like $12!!!! And you can get clear or PINK! I Ordered me a pink one! I know that dappin dish is really hyped up right now too, and I wanted it, almost bought it. I'm glad I found the one on shein. So thought I'd just throw that out there.

I’m so relieved you poured it back 🥺 I mean idc if you waste your glitter but that purple glitter was so pretty to be wasted I wish you showed us how loud it is. I’m also an enthusiast but I think I will be getting this. Have been out of the loop on the nail industry in recent months and found out KS now has one of these. And in purple. But it’s sold out. Will be stalking when it’s in stock. It will match the lamp I have from them already. I really want to get their efile but I don’t think I should as I already have a very reliable and reputable efile from KUPA and I also purchased a back up. 😔 KS is killing it with the aesthetics but the KUPA I think will outlast the KS. Too bad. I would really like the full set
I personally don't think I need it. For the price, I expect my neighbors to be sucked in through the window 😂😂😂. If it doesn't get everything, it's not worth it to me. The suction was not what I thought it would be. I still had a lot of acrylic powder landing in places that wasn’t even close to the collector. The exhaust fan blows really hard so any fly off not sucked down is blown everywhere. It is cute but not functional.

She literally asked me “what is it supposed to do?” Me-It’s supposed to be the best suction out there. I have a iGel phantom dust collector and I knew it worked really good, but after buying then returning this KS dust collector, I knew I had a great product for a quarter of the price!

Im also leave my cords plug in & forget what goes with what. To remember which cord belongs to what device, I put colored nail polish on cord and its corresponding device. Then l just look at what color matches the unit and i no longer have to guess. Hope this helps
KS know what they doing. The ONLY reason I would get this dust collector would be because i have the drill, getting the lamp, and i want it all to match. They came out with the drill and lamp first, they knew people would buy it for that same reason. Because thats WAY too much money for a dust collector, in my opinion. There are WAY more affordable options that work great. That being said, i will probably eventually get it, i do want all my stuff to match, the colors, the brand. And it is super pretty..... Exactly. KS is killing it with the aesthetics. But I cannot justify getting the efile because I already have not one but TWO KUPA efiles. One back up. I have the KS purple lamp and do not own a dust collector yet. This would be a great addition. When the pink unicorn lamp came out, many people said bad stuff about their efiles. No replies from KS. I don’t think they have the best efiles but the aesthetic is really helping their business so so so much. I get tempted all the time to get that efile

It is so pretty, it's quite, so far it works good (KNOCK WOOD!), and I love the bit that came with it. I hope it don't mess up on me! I do have a makartt pro, and a melody Susie (my third one of the MS, why I didn't stop after the first two messed up I dunno, but they are diffent models and types.... whole other story, but I won't buy anymore MS Efiles) love my makartt Efile though though!... the point to all my rambling is, I got sucked in to getting the KS Efile, I'm stuck with it, hope it don't mess up. I'm gonna be PISSED if it does. I was getting ready to get the lamp but I've heard such bad things about it I'm not gonna get it now. I have three others I love, I don't need it, was just gonna get it because I had the Efile. And there is PLENTY of other dust collectors, way cheaper. KS products are so damn pretty though.
these dust collector only collect fine dust ( fine medium or coarse drill bit ). I use 5xc bit to take down acrylic it cuts larger pieces of acrylic so the dust are heavier so these dust collector not gonna help.
I know that the nail drill , lamp and dust collector bundle already has a great price ,but I wish I could still use the extra 10% discount it doesn't go through tho 😔 ...
For your cords put a dot of corresponding polish on the appliance and cord then you just match the colours you can keep the cords plugged in. That’s what I do for everything make’s life easier. I would not buy this one as I only do my mums natural toenails and both my nails fingers only for gel products as doing my toes is a long process because of disabilities making me less flexible.
P price is high but however everything with Kiara sky is priced highly but they are a great product and I think it's worth investing it's also got mad suction
If you do your nails a lot you don’t need to be a nail tech, the dust collector is to prevent all that product to enter mainly the nail tech’s lungs which in this case I do feel like you need it since to create a lot of nail content

When the acrylic is too thick and started to get the heat spike, you can put the finger inside a glass of cold water to cool it down
