How funny. I'm moving to the city you left..Dallas. Moving for the same reasons you mentioned. I'm around your age and have a child. I need space and feel I will have a better quality of life. NYC to me suits early 20 somethings. Once you start hitting the 30s or close to it(and want to start a family) it's not as optimal.
I saw your new house too! Looks amazing, as I was looking at your floors all of the things taught me when I was little just came back! love your hand scrapped hardwood floors( my dad has been installing them for over 20 years and brought back childhood memories!
Good for you on leaving ... I was born here lived my whole life here and I am leaving too why you may ask ... Well I shall tell Rent is 2000 a month for a one bedroom in a crap neighborhood Insurance to drive is 4000 a year Plus city and state taxes and hidden fees such as 65 bucks for a meter ticket or 8.50 to cross a bridge It's also dirty and dangerous and it's traffic beyond belief and the public school system is a joke I can live 100 percent better for 70 percent less ... Screw this place
No, it's not. Everyone's angry and miserable because they can't get to where they need to be w/o shoving 7 million other people out of their way, because of the noise, the filth, the rats, the roaches, the high prices (and hence, the New Yorker's poverty), because it's an unnatural environment that breeds PTSD.
Ester Vojkollari l love NYC .l retired and moved to Nc.l ish l would have stay in Nyc.lm 51 years old and retired, no other place could this happen.Thank you Ny.l don't have to take a slave man job.My family doing well there
Lol. You are from Dallas and don't feel safe in NY? My wife is Japanese and does not wish to move to Texas because of how its perceived. You guys are brutal.
There are religious based K-12 schools for the $10K referenced but the top private schools in Manhattan are like $50K+!
Found this channel late but I can’t believe you lived in Weehawken lol. That was a shock for some reason 😭 I live in West New York.

The rude New Yorker is largely a fallacy.
No, it's not. I don't think it's on purpose. It's just you get swooped up by the fast paced etc
