Love the dude and the great vid as always! But you have to also check out Uraltone tube sounding micro mixer too. The Name is stupidly long but the product is interesting.
its always been on my list, I used the Patchblock mixer which is nice also

Wow dude, perfect timing! How are these mixers for microphones? I want to use it to drive a Mic or two with hi-z 1/4" converters. I don't want to have to carry around a separate mixer when I want to do singing things, and putting a microphone into the signal without some sort of amplitude controller is insanely risk in a live setting
Would this be a good mixer to help add extra volume to quiet line inputs for recording? I have an Yamaha MX88 that is super quiet when I play it through my audio interface, but sounds fine when I play back the recording and I can't figure out why. Best solution to me seems to run some kind of signal boost between the piano and the interface. Any thoughts?

Love the Dude, but unfortunately my first one died within two days, and now my second one is having issues with the power jack. Killer and useful little mixer tho.

As for any noob I can recommend the Tascam DP24SD.
It is a digital mixer and recorder that can record 8 tracks at once and 24 (playback) in total with stems (individual tracks) to SD card.
Not saying this is the best but for homerecording this is worth looking at.

Re: back sober. Its literally the first thing you say as well, haha. The mutes is the best for sure with this little dude. So weird its rare in budget mixers with mute buttons. Easy diy tho.

How would this help me out with already having say a 10 ch. Mixer and my interface. Real shit. I'm kinda new to hardware but having a hella time trying to put together a little hybrid type set up. Similar to Accurate Beats. Thanks homie

I actually managed to pick one up. I bought it direct from Bastl's website for those who are interested. Just arrived in the mail today.

I was after the same thing. Found a thread on Reddit mentioning the Maker Hart Just Mixer. 3 stereo inputs or can do 5 mono. Powered by two AAAs. Just ordered one myself for OP-Z, iPad, PO, etc. jams.

id prefer the behringer 1002b ...its a bigger but also portable battery powered and has more inputs(10 i think) mono and stereo also mic preamp(with phantom) eq and send fx ...solid construction...And has the same price...what else can i ask for my live performance?

So I ordered one of these but I use a circuit and a deluge have a wasted my money because I now realise both of those synths are stereo and the dude is mono? 🙄

Sorry for a newb question but could you run both left and right channels from a stereo synth into the Dude to retain the stereo signal?
Mono was the only thing holding me back, though your excellent reviews keep me coming back to it.
No sadly. It will treat it as Two mono signals and sum then up dead center

Ricky what power supply did you get. I have a 9v but it didn't work.
definitely better value than the new Teenage Engineering TX-6 mixer.
That little mixer can be very useful in some situations ... Technically it doesn't output in Stereo but Dual Mono (both channels are the same)
It is useful if you need to hookup mono gear to something like a DJ Mixer (Or any other mixer that will only take stereo inputs)
it can also be useful as a little summing mixer to add more mono gear
I Currently Have 2 Soundlab Micro Mixers that is pretty similar but could be used as Stereo 4 channel or Mono 8 channel (with Dual Mono Outs)
So I can use One for 8 Mono Inputs and hook it up to the other where I can have 3 more Stereo inputs ...
BTW ... Are you already working on Getting to Know Your MC 303 A bit better to do A Compact Creation with it :P
What about sound? Use this mixer with Korg volcas. Sound quality not the best. Digital mixers better for live

What you need to do if you've spent a lot of money on analog synths and expensive sound cards is to run the signal through a really shitty sub 100 $ mixer.
