The fact that Hilary’s older sister, Haylie, had to come in and do all the vocals because Hilary wasn’t good enough; must’ve been a punch in the gut since she wanted to be an actress.
Haylie did Isabella's vocals and the ballad version of What Dreams Are Made Of. Hilary did actually sing for Lizzie. They just needed a different feel when it came to Isabella.
It has always bothered me that she was graduating from *JUNIOR HIGH* and Paolo saw this literal child and was like "yes, I want her"

lizzie mcguire in this film became hannah montana like it was some test for that show to make this film nothing like the show...ironic considering she was given a show about just being an average teenage girl ..if this movie was the first time you saw her character you would think its the same premise lol.
