I really like it. Averso makes something, Airumi polish it, and then vice versa (new crates, new obstacles, new enemies and even levels), then someone else use it as inspiration. Crash Bandicoot modding community is quite strong, and sure come a long way from nitro-spamming to implementing game-changing mechanics.
Awesome work! Only suggestion I'd make is to make the 9TNT pattern TNT's count down from 2 instead of 3. I think 3 makes it a bit too forgiving, given it's the final two phases of the boss.
This is just pure talent! To think that someone would mod one of my favorite childhood games! As a kid, I didn't know what to do in this level at all! LOL
I think the final phase should be toned down and involve only two random 2-second TNT patterns and a final one being 1-second It'd still be an interesting and nerve racking surprise twist at the end, would match Ripper Roos chaotic yet brief nature (similar to how he did his signature laugh, at defeat, in the first game and then quickly fell down), and it wouldn't overstay it's welcome as the first boss in the game
Although I am the biggest Japanese hater in the history that I can't deny that you are very very creative in designing modes and music's for my favorite crash bandicoot games
I have a question: does anyone know where to download the music for this fight? it's soo amazing and catchy- but I can't seem to find a source to listen to the music for this's mod without the background sound effects and such bugging me of trying to listen to this amazing edited boss music
@Rupert You never know how difficult a craft is until you work on it yourself. Game design is no exception. If something looks like it took 10 minutes to develop, it probably took 10 hours.
No, only in 4a and 5a it picks a random pre-made pattern. To have truly random patterns, the code would have to be decompiled and recompiled, which was not possible when i started it, and even now with mandude having released his object code compiler I doubt i could pull that off. The only random elements aside from this pattern choice in 4a and 5a were 3a and 3b randomly checking nitro or tnt, as airumu explained in the video.
Me a few seconds in: "Ah, an increased health meter."
Ripper Roo two minutes in: "I DECIDE WHEN I'M DONE."
Seems in character
Pra Airumu is one of the best creators of Crash Bandicoot mods ♥ ️
I like that logo
I personally think that in phase 5 the tnts should have 2 second timers and the last should be 1 second timer.
1 second timer? That would be a bitch!
Amazing 👍
i agree
You have to remember this is the first boss fight
Woah, easy now! This is still the first boss fight
2 seconds would make sense though, for 5 out of the 9 random patterns
1:57 Crash: oh crap!, he's not done yet!
1:54 Ripper Roo be like "But I'm not done yet!"
When he started laughing even though he was supposed to be dead I was shook LMAO

THis music sounds Awesome!!! Something I could expect from a super hard mode of Crash 2. Simple but catchy
Imagine a hard mode mod for the whole game. That’d be amazing
Definitely a hard mode for bosses would be very appreciated
I dig the track playing in the background.
I'm willing to pay for it!
beautiful i will look at this for 5 hours
I was just starting to think about will that final TNT wave ever end lol
When Ripper Roo gets even more serious.
This is just pure talent! To think that someone would mod one of my favorite childhood games! As a kid, I didn't know what to do in this level at all! LOL
Ripper Roo In a alternate timeline
So this is how my brother remembers ripper roo (he was a veteran of the crash saga and beated all crash games until max percentage)
So essentially, his post final phase/defeat is continuously spawning TNT tiles until he burns himself out. What a twist.
I bet this is part of an upcoming full mod.
CRASH BANDICOOT 2, BRUTAL MODE
I feel like the last part goes on for a bit too long.
Maybe cut down on the number of times he jumps.
But that's up to Aversatrix, isn't it?
Yes but I think that would be good, the last phase needs improvement.
Well that was longer than I thought but it's still a cool boss fight.
More hardest that naughty dog original battle
when i was little i found this boss hard. Now its very easy and this mod shows how much better the fight can be :)
and music is good also!
Wow. Considering ripper roo was not much of a challenge in the OG, you could say he was planning something since he wasn’t back for a long time.
Cortex - (laughs) I see that Ripper Roo failed to prove much of a challenge yet again.
Crash - ..................Screw you Cortex
I LOVE the challenge you guys bring into this! 💚❤ Would love to play it! 💙

嘘だろ!?リパールーまで改造しやがったとうとう!!
ボス改造は楽しみですね

-This is a TNT.
-Dear God...
-There's more.
-NO...
Name of level: Totally roo

Looking back I really wished that the komodo bros boss had Harder phases
Now mod the Komodo Brothers' boss fight.
do u want fries with it
@Rupert U have no idea how long these take to make
@Rupert Tens of hours at best. Becomes unrealistic when u consider time actual responsibilities and matters take up.
@Rupert You never know how difficult a craft is until you work on it yourself. Game design is no exception. If something looks like it took 10 minutes to develop, it probably took 10 hours.
5 phases!? Ripper Roo really is N. Sane!
Wow o.o
That really is challenging
1:53 For a moment there, I thought this was repeating the (in)famous N. Brio glitch from the first game.
Love the music tho UwU 🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡
1:54 Uh oh.....😱
1:57 WOAH!! 😮😮
I wonder why no one is modding n.sane. Trilogy like this
is there a mod to download ?
because i liked it
Can someone tell the song in this video? Really need to now.
What's the song's name?
What's that music you've just used?
this is a super crazy battle hahaha
More bosses please omg!!!
next mod the infinity spinner Komodo joe and the slicer Komodo moe
Ripper-and-Tearer Roo
I think you could make even a full Crash game by hacking
I would like to see real laugher of this Ripper Roo (who made sound of him)... it would be funny
Unfortunately he’s dead. This is stock sound effects.
I heard they got Jesse Harnell for the remake to do sounds for Ripper Roo though.
@@mushroomhead3619 ah. Sad. So sorry (
Would it be possible to mod this into the remake
Is it possible to use the biker crash as a skin in crash 3? Just like nst
If it's possible, would that be possible in crash 2?
It's impossible to replace models like in modern games.
However, it's possible to port Crash 3 models/animations to Crash 2.
YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS
the mod was super good, how did you do it? you should do tutorials on how to make mods, please. =D
You can mod games with CrashEdit and this mod was made by Averso, he also has some tutorials on his channel.
Cool 😎
How You Download This Rom
bruh nice
涼しい
Is it randomizing the patterns he uses, because I always thought doing that would’ve been interesting.
No, only in 4a and 5a it picks a random pre-made pattern. To have truly random patterns, the code would have to be decompiled and recompiled, which was not possible when i started it, and even now with mandude having released his object code compiler I doubt i could pull that off.

quiero el mod de crash circus😐
2:04 PINCH MODE
Isn't this a bit too hard for like the first boss of the game?
This Ripper Roo prime
Almost easy I think, but, anyway is awesome
You can mod Twinsanity?
There's a Twinsanity editor but I'm not interested in modding it for now.
相手の体力を0にした後の演出が長い
What music is?
The music was made by CREEEE.
ripper roo is clearly cheating where is he getting all these uka uka masks from
