Yep I tried to cut-rate an oil change on my car and it ended up costing me $1400 for a new water pump... Eric mentioned today he had to pay additional fees for his registration since he was 3 months late. We all know how busy he was when he had a chance to register early. He also mentioned his sticker was only good for 11 months. Hate to tell him, registration expiration dates don't change because you are late paying. If you are transferring plates as he did, if they expire in March and you pay late in April, the expiration date stays March. The so called $3000 it cost him to register, it would have been significantly less if he only took care of things earlier, not at the last minute.

Why does Taters trailer have IL plates? He is not an IL resident anymore. The area of AZ they all live in is scrubland. There are some nice areas with houses on large tracts of land. The nomad crew are hillbillies. You can't leave anything unattended there for long or it will get stolen in the area they are at.That area is known for its problems with property theft. If Tater didn't have his friend living there the solar, batteries and micky shack would get cleaned out. That's why CVK doesn't go very far for very long anymore. I guarantee he has someone watching his shack too. The land in that area is very cheap. Why? Because there is no water. The area has an extremely high risk of wildfires. LOL sounds like a great area to buy land. LOL
Some call them tweakers. We tried once to buy property in that area, and was met with trash and needles on the vacant land. What some people live in would drop your jaw. The real-estate agent pretended he never been to the property. Fences and big dogs protected the better looking properties.

I have a payment on a camper to a local bank in IL but I am a AZ resident so it must be registered in AZ. Eric is a resident of TX. That's why his car, bike and RV are registered in TX. But why not the trailer?

Eric mentioned today he had to pay additional fees for his registration since he was 3 months late. We all know how busy he was when he had a chance to register early.
He also mentioned his sticker was only good for 11 months. Hate to tell him, registration expiration dates don't change because you are late paying. If you are transferring plates as he did, if they expire in March and you pay late in April, the expiration date stays March.
The so called $3000 it cost him to register, it would have been significantly less if he only took care of things earlier, not at the last minute.

Why does Taters trailer have IL plates? He is not an IL resident anymore. The area of AZ they all live in is scrubland. There are some nice areas with houses on large tracts of land. The nomad crew are hillbillies. You can't leave anything unattended there for long or it will get stolen in the area they are at.That area is known for its problems with property theft. If Tater didn't have his friend living there the solar, batteries and micky shack would get cleaned out. That's why CVK doesn't go very far for very long anymore. I guarantee he has someone watching his shack too. The land in that area is very cheap. Why? Because there is no water. The area has an extremely high risk of wildfires. LOL sounds like a great area to buy land. LOL
Some call them tweakers. We tried once to buy property in that area, and was met with trash and needles on the vacant land. What some people live in would drop your jaw. The real-estate agent pretended he never been to the property. Fences and big dogs protected the better looking properties.
I think Tater bought the trailer in Illinois from a Buy Here Pay Now place. He has to keep it plated in Illinois. Just like he had to keep the Class A plated in Texas.

I have a payment on a camper to a local bank in IL but I am a AZ resident so it must be registered in AZ. Eric is a resident of TX. That's why his car, bike and RV are registered in TX. But why not the trailer?
