You look great, rosy cheeks and glowy skin. Happy to hear you are enjoying life again. Your hair will probably grow back, they say it does. Thanks for sharing, very valuable information. Keep going, see you soon!
Looking great! Your skin is glowing and your eyes are somehow greener.. its amazing once you crack out of that shell of that extra weight how you just start shining a little brighter ! Good luck
Getting back on coasters is one of my favorite NSVs. It makes you feel alive again. And walking around an amusement park at night is one of my favorite exercises.
Me too! I'm a total adrenaline junky and I've been into coasters since I was a kid so I'm happy to be able to enjoy them again haha. I also love walking around them!
Hi Fil, I started my journey after watching the Tempo Studio videos on your channel. Am now 6 weeks in myself and down 8 pounds while significantly up in muscle mass and down in body fat. Thanks for the inspiration, and I hope you continue your journey! 💪
Go for my consultation on Sept 6th afraid to do it but really considering especially after watching videos like yours. 393 current weight but with a son on the way and struggling bad with sleep apnea, seems like a smart option just hope its smooth.
I hope it goes smooth for you too! The best advice I got was to know the difference between knowing it's the right decision but being scared vs feeling not quite right about it and that if you're just scared, it's normal to be! I hope you can get a good feeling on it after your consultation. I'd suggest you write down all the questions you have and have them on you the day of the consultation. I'm glad I did because it was a lot of information and in the moment I would have definitely forgot a lot of them.
Hi, we must have had VSG surgery around the same time. Mine was May 4th this year. I've lost 71 lbs so far, but 37 of it was from before surgery. You're doing great! I like watching your channel to see your progress!
Thank you so much and good luck with your surgery! I'll definitely post some soon, most likely on my instagram, but I might also do a UA-cam community post.
Congrats on the hard work so far! I’m so excited as well to ride more rides! I just want to point out the minoxidil can lower your blood pressure. I used to use it for my beard before surgery, it actually helps but that’s a different rabbit hole lol. I stopped right before surgery and I haven’t gone back. even about 18 months out because my blood pressure dropped a lot after the weight loss. It went from high and needing BP meds to me passing out and getting completely off the meds at about 3-4 months out. I would just recommend keeping an eye out for dizziness and maybe dropping back to once a day if that happens. Good luck!
Thank you so much! And that's good to know, I didn't realize the topical version could do that, but you're right! I'm so bad at keeping up with it. I'll do it consistently for a few days, then i don't do it one morning, and I forget for 4 days haha. I'll definitely keep an eye out for that though!
@@FilMaltez yeah I believe it’s very little but some may get into your bloodstream still. 🤷♂️but I’m also not a doctor and am going off of internet research lol.
Thanks for sharing your journey so far. At the time of this writing it is September 25, 2022. I got my sleeve and gall bladder removed 3 days ago. The first couple of days were rough, but not horrible. Now home on day 3, I am having to relearn living. The worst pains are from the gas they pump in you. I am taking Gabapentin, which is the most disgusting medicine, and tylenol, along with the blood thinners and other stuff they prescribed. Right now my big belly feels so heavy when I stand and walk. I will be getting a support binder in the next day or two. I love seeing people like you share their stories because it gives me hope that things will get better.
Oh wow that you got your gall bladder removed right away. My cousin got hers removed too after the surgery, but it was a few months later. I hope you're feeling a bit better a few days later? I couldn't imagine having the gas pain that long and I feel so lucky mine went away so quickly. Did they prescribe Gabapentin for pain? I was prescribed that when I did PRK surgery back in 2020 and I feel like it did nothing for me lol. They prescribed me oxy for the pain for this surgery, but luckily I didn't need to take it. You got this!!
@@FilMaltez Thanks for the reply Fil. Yeah, My gall bladder was full of stones and my surgeon said he could just take it out at the same time. I am getting a bit better each day. The gas for me continues, but its not in the abdominal cavity around the digestive system, it's in the digestive system itself. I can constantly hear my digestive system roaring and screaming now. It's making me wonder if I am doing something wrong. I am on full liquids now. I don't know that the gabapentin is doing anything at all, and may just stop it. I haven't have any type of pain meds since the hospital itself.
Great to see this as I am going in on Aug 18 for my sleeve. I hope I can handle everything as well as you are! Gives me confidence to see your success!
Good luck tomorrow! You're going to do great! Out of this whole process, for me, the hardest part was taking that step to go for the initial consultation.
@@FilMaltez still dealing with it 😥. Not to sound gross but I have never wanted to fart and burp so bad in my life 🤣. Slight bump in the road though I know it will get better. You have done amazing so it gives me hope to trust the process.
@@Sabrina.Thompson haha no I completely get it, I was the same way! I threw up after drinking the contrast fluid when they checked me the next morning and as much as it sucked, I think it helped get out a lot of gas and I was lucky. But who knows lol. I hope yours goes away soon!
Honestly, I have no idea yet haha. I've lost a lot of weight, but I still have a lot of fat on basically every area. I can start to see a bit of loose skin on the backs of my arms but I can't tell anywhere else. Not sure if that's a good thing or if it's just too soon to tell.
haha, I didn't have a "routine" until very recently because I had no idea we were supposed to have one until my dermatologist yelled at me lol. I do have prescriptions for Tretinoin and Finacea. Otherwise I just wash my face and moisturize at night and use vitamin c and sunscreen in the morning lol. I'll use a chemical exfoliant once a week.
haha I definitely have more energy! I definitely speak really fast (and loud) in real life, but usually make an effort to slow down on videos to be easier to understand. The extra energy definitely helps too!
@@itzthickmadam1516 I wouldn't say regret, but the day in the hospital and the first few days at home, the reality of everything hit me and I had an "oh no what have I done" moment. Since then I haven't had any regrets and am really happy with my choice!

How's the loose skin situation going? Did any of the products help?

Hairfluence and propriden help hair
My sleeve was June 20 and I’m down 50
That's awesome! Congrats!!
Post covid I lost a lot of hair.
Yes! I noticed that too the first time I got covid a few months after.
Did you lose 100lbs in just 90 days or did I read that wrong?!
I had lost 100 total including the preop period, so I lost 40 going into the surgery and 60 after the surgery at the 90 day mark.
My ❤
