Thank you, very eye opening on petroff. I have been thinking of adding 1 defense as black besides sicilian. Now i am more and more convinced about petroff.
You sounded a bit like agadmator at the beggining, hehe. Jokes aside, thank you so much! I didnt have an opening for black and had too many openings for white, and only thing i could so is maybe an attempt at the caro-kann, but this helped me a lot on my black games. Thanks!
@@Kestony thx for the response! I know the move would block the bishop from development but it would push the knight away, playing chess for some months now its a lot of learning, thank you for helping!
Coach Kestony is my chess coach and in he has helped me improve a lot in just a short period. His rates are very reasonable and besides being a great player he also has a great personality. If you are thinking about getting a coach you should definitely consider coach Kestony
yeah i just tried that,,he moved queen out first,,and beat me in 6 moves while i pissed around trying to win pawns. this happens a lot whne i watch these videos. strange.
Interesting indeed...I wonder how this would go in Correspondence Chess...when your opponent has lots of time...and access to many computers like Stockfish etc...plus millions of games via the numerous databases that are available!! Hmmm!!
Results of correspondence chess should not bother you at all unless you are a grandmaster. Coaches don't recommend playing the first computer lines for a long time, you need a good practical lines that are "okay" in theory.
I was really excited to give this a try but then something unexpected happened. When I got to 0:55, my opponent moved white queen to e2 pinning the knight. How can black respond to this?

Watches for 2 seconds, closes video and plays a game
Ha ha... den end up loosing
.
Same! Hahaha
Hahaha spot on
Basically how it goes xD
The movements white did against black wouldn't happen unless their a fresh player. White couldve countered from the start.
Thank you for posting. I love to have another defense other than the Sicilian against 1. e4 openings.
Thank you Michael. Sicilian is a great choice too!
The main problem here is where im at, people don't do the main line either. Lmao
Exactly! After two moves their moves take you way out of any line likely to be discussed.
But. You know if they deviate you can exploit a mistake
@@Abc-tx4zr can you give an example?

Very Good. calm speech, not too fast clicking, - (like usually many chess lessons are).

i started playing and he didnt take the pawn on the third move

0:10 russia doesnt need to defend 😑 thats why we have winter😂
LOL FUCK U
Superb Solid One.. ❤️
Thank you
@Kestony. Would love a Book or video on winning squares
I’ve always felt restrained when only “holding off” as black. This video certainly opened my eyes to something new
I am happy to hear that!
You have a new sub pal =D
I really love this video, didn't know this defense. Keep up the great work and thx!

@@Kestony ur dialouge is "I beleive that"😂
When white uses queen to pin knight..it's almost a death sentence to that knight..
Thanks a lot for this opening ideas!👍
Thank you for watching!
@@Kestony wow!!
The Problem for beginners is that the enemy can decline it with Nc3 transposing into 4 knights
Yes, but this problem occurs with all openings. There are many ways to play the opening so one has to learn to deal with not just one opening.
This is so helpful i kept playing scandanavion and i kept losing so i decided to study different position with different defences
Beginning to love chess now that i know a black opening. Thank you!
Thank you Pandaboy!
Very well explained, simple and effective. Keep it up.

Can you put the link for pgn file so that i can learn it easier
but what if he plays d3 when knight takes e6 plz reply
Sir you didnt cover Qe2 variation pinning the black knight
Hello Lobel, this video is about the main line
3:01 what happens if he goes knight a3?
U can still c2
What if white plays d3 and attacks the knight on e5? Thx for your explaining as a starting player these videos are really helpfull!
If white plays d3 then it's another variation that requires another video ;)

hey dude i want to learn chess personally but sadly don't have money to pay as i m a kid
2:16 what if he would have taken Bishop by pawn instead of queen
Then Aman white damages his pawn structure near the king terribly
Why wouldn't white pd3 after knight takes pawn on e4?
Helpful strategy because I didn't get what is e4 means then I search this then when I saw this now I know what e4 opening move means
Thanks Izagaki. I hope I will see you in my other videos!

@@Kestony Yes, I hope . OK.....
@@Kestony I will see caro-can defence!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
As a 600-800 rating player going for the win with black should be the obvious thing to do :)
The problem here is on move 5 knight did not take e6. White moved pawn d5. Now what?
Great video!!
Thank you Ryan!
okay i dont derstand why would the queen take the bishop and risk when the pawn can take it too?
Really good and I'm going to try it
The petrove would also lead the cochrane opening for white
After D5 instead of paying d4 if white played Nbd2
yeah i just tried that,,he moved queen out first,,and beat me in 6 moves while i pissed around trying to win pawns. this happens a lot whne i watch these videos. strange.
0:51 what if he white plays knight to f7 then you would be a goner right?
Kxf7 and then g6 Kg7 is the simplest plan to get a good position for black
Is there a way to stop a horse from triple checking the queen king and the rook on white? Im a bit of a newbie and i dont know how to stop it.
The first assumption you make is an error already. After d6 white plays Bc4 putting pressure on the f7 square. And then what?
Take the knight?
amazing but my problem is if my opponent follows the moves hahaha
Qe2 solid line

Just play Qe7 to unpin yourself - it's a standart reaction in this opening
