Hello everyone 👋🏻 Thank you for watching 🙂 For those asking where I buy the materials: For Ramgo products you can buy them in Ace hardware, or handyman. If you are in Metro Manila and willing to pay a shipping fee, just contact them on Facebook (Ramgo Seeds). You may screenshot their packaging on the video to help you out finding these. For the Cocopeat with Charcoal, I also buy this at Ace hardware of Handyman. The brand I use is Cocogreen. Note: You can use other brands of vermicast or cocopeat. Cocopeat doesn’t vary much. For pumice, perlite, and vermiculite, I usually buy these during events from (Arneth, or Everrich) or on the physical store of Everich in Quezon City Memorial Circle. These materials also don’t vary much. You can check Lazada or shoppee for these products. Again, remember to clean the pumice and dry them under the sun for at least 5 days. Making sure that all the materials you used are clean is important to avoid root rot and other pest infestation. UPDATE: For vermicast I’m using Kahariam vermicast since it is both FPA registered and OCCP certified. You don’t have to sift this since it is already sifted. I can assure you that this one is clean and 90% vermicast. Thank You 🙂

No po. I let the roots callus muna. Here’s a video of me potting a succulent. ua-cam.com/video/37D82kcoqN4/v-deo.htmlsi=ayoY6XPG7lR__G4B
Sir san po ako mkabibili ng by half sack or 1 ssck of pumice kasi dito sa amin 50 pesos po per kilo
Thank you for watching! Sa Pampanga po ako located, abundant po dito ang Pumice since dito po galing. Depende po sa location niyo, taga saan po ba kayo?
ok lng po b maglagay ng lava rocks s soilmix or toppings lng tlg cia?
Thank you for watching! 🙂 Yes po okay lang. Lava rocks can be an alternative for pumice po.
gud pm saan po mabibili ang mga ginamit nyo po sa pag gawa ng soilmix po?
Thank you so much for watching! For Ramgo products you can buy them in Ace hardware, or handyman.
Thank You 🙂
Can I use rice hull and pumice as my soilmix for succulents?
Thank you for watching! I suggest using carbonized rice hull instead of the fresh rice hull. You could also mix some vermicast if you have.
@@theplantprinceph Yeah, I forgot it is carbonized rice hull. Thank you so much for answering. I appreciate it. God bless 😊
On the description sana sir you should include links kung san nio po nabili ung mga mixture. Kase gaya ko hindi ko din alam kung sino at alin ung mga recommended nio sana.
Also sana po nasa description sana ung shortcut kung ilan parts. Nakakatamad po kaseng magpause and play hehehe
Thank you very much for watching! 🙂 To address your concern, the products I used such as the Cocopeat with charcoal, Ramgo soilless medium, and Ramgo Vermicast are all bought from Ace Hardware or Handyman, I added the packaging of these in the video. I can’t provide a link since these are bought on a physical store. For the pumice, perlite, and vermiculite you can buy them on Lazada or Shoppee. These products doesn’t vary much kaya hindi ko linagay ‘yung mga links.
As much as I want to add the list in the description po, it will defeat the purpose of watching the whole video.🙂 Thank you 🙂
Very good demonstration as well as explanations. Thank you!!
Just subscribed. Thank you. love your informative video. Where can I purchase all these ingredients to make my own mix as well?
Thank you for watching! I usually buy them on online stores/app or on garden stores.
pwede ba ipalit ang lava rock sa pumice?
Yes po pwede.
Hi I bought Happy Beans recently. I repotted them with mixture of pumice, coco peat and loam soil. It rotted 😔 is there something wrong with the soil mixture?
Thank you for watching! Perhaps the loam soil, I refrain from using loam soil, garden soil, or animal manure since it may contain microbes or substance that can harm our succulents.
The Plant Prince Ph what do you use for your plants?
Gaye Nidea Hello, I use soilless mediums like cocopeat, carbonized rice hull, peatmoss, or sterilized potting mix like Ramgo
Thank you!
You have a nice vlog. Very informative. May I ask, Where do you get the sterilized soil medium? How do you sterilize if its diy? Thanks for your reply.
Thank you for watching! I buy them from Ace Hardware or Handyman, or at Lazada Ramgo official store. You can put the soilmix on microwave to sterilize the medium or you could also cook it.
I need to try this for my CnS
Thank you for watching! I hope it will make your succulents beautiful.
Ask question is : soilless is same as compost or potting mix ?
Thank you for watching! The soilless is basically any organic material without soil. It is usually composed pf biochar, cocopeat or other oraginc. Its composition varies depending on the brand. Potting mix is the general term for the medium used when potting. Soilless is also considered as a potting mix. In thins video the soilless I used is mainly composed of biochar.
The Plant Prince Ph thank you. ❤
Thanks for informative video, Pl inform can we use Charcoal (wood coal) in potting mix?
Yes you can. I sometimes add crushed charcoal in my soil mix.
What do you mean by soiless medium ?
Thank you so much for watching! 🙂 Soilless mediums are available in garden store. Basically, its a medium wherein there’s no soil, thus its sterile. Usually it is composed of organic matter such as biochar, cocopeat, peatmoss, and the likes. It doesn’t contain silt, sand, clay, or garden soil.
thank you so much for your informative video on soil mix...if i may ask sir, are you familiar or able to use fish amino acid for your CNS...a gardener, cactus propagator have introduced and advised me to use this on my CNS...thank you so kuch sir...God bless...
Thank you so much for watching! 🙂 Sorry I’m not familiar with Fish amino acid. Vermicast and granular slow release fertilizer lang po ginagamit ko na fertilizer.
Anong tubig po ang ginagamit niyo sa pagdidilig ng succulent plants?
As much as possible po rainwater sana.
So informative sir! San kapo nakakabili ng akadama? Ty sir.
Thank you very much for watching! 🙂 I didn’t use akadama in this soilmix, but I buy my akadama from Spikes & Barrel PH (Facebook). There are also other seller of Akadama at Facebook, Lazada, and Shoppee
What is soil less medium
A medium which doesn’t have soil. It is usually a mixture of organic materials like carbonized rice hull, cocopeat, dried leaves, and the likes.

Thank you for watching and subscribing. I’ll try to upload more often this month po.
What is the soilless medium?
It's a kind of regular potting mix here that don't have soil. You can use carbonized rice hull as replacement or any regular potting mix that are available in your area.
From where I can purchase these materials?
Thank you for watching! You can easily buy the materials from Lazada or Shoppe.
Hi,
Can I use vermicompost instead of vermicast? If yes, will I be losing out on something I could have provided using vermicast?
Yes, you can substitute vermicast for ermicompost.
You will not miss any benefits, since both vermicast and vermicompost have nutrients.
hello po im a silent reader sa channel nyo po.. wala po bang ibang alternative na mix na pwede mahanap lng sa bakuran.. salamat po sana mapansin nyo ako. thank you..
Thank you for watching! You can try experimenting po. Medyo mahirap kasi maghanap ng alternatives na available eh. Pumice super important niyan, you can mix 70% pumice. Them for 30% gamit po kayo ng any organic na available sa inyo. You can add fresh rice hull din, super okay siya for drainage.
ahh i'm a newbie..& this is what i need,thank u

The Plant Prince Ph Please make a video also on your watering technique. How often and how much water do you use for that mixture. I’m also glad to know the sunlight exposure of your plants. Thank you!
What size of pumice do you use for this mix? "Sugar," "corn"or "big" size?
Thank you so much for watching! 🙂 I use munggo size po.
@@theplantprinceph I'm growing mediterreanean herbs, not succulents exactly. But they often recommend a succulent potting mix. I'm just wondering if a smaller size is the way to go for that like 'maytanghito?'
Nek Ska Peh I’m not familiar with mediterreanean herbs but on making succulent soilmix or as a amendment for garden soil, I always prefer the smaller such as mungo and matanghito size.
@@theplantprinceph Oregano, marjoram, thyme, rosemary, sage are all Mediterreanean herbs. The potential for root rot is particularly a problem here in Phils. I had not thought of going this way about it until reading up on it more.
Ohhh. Yes, root rot is a problem here in the Philippines especially for those plants that thrive in arid regions. The humidity and precipitation here is high, and normal garden soil get sticky when wet. That’s why it is recommended to add some pumice ore perlite, or any inorganic that can loosen up the soil and provide air channels for the plant roots to breathe.
di ko po gets ung soil less medium, are they mixture of cocopeat also? and what else?
Those different soil for succulents.. Where to buy that? Im a beginner po pls reply
Thank you so much for watching! 🙂

Yung soil bnili ko parang uling yung texture ganun ba talaga ? Sana msagot. Thanks pero hnaluan ko ng pumice
Thank you for watching! 🙂 Hello ma’am. Can you send the picture nung soilmix na binili niyo sa Facebook page ko para matulungan ko kayo. The Plant Prince Ph po.
Sure po. Send ko po. Thanks
Same with the soil I bought.. Parang uling ang texture then nilagyan ko ng pumice. Okay lang ba siya?
Cherryl Agustin Hello, if uling ang texture baka biochar based siya. Biochar or mga sunog na rice hulls or leaves.
Hi po is it okay lang dn po to use 70% pumice and 30% vermicast? For succs. Halos yan dn po kse tips na nakita ko.. but ill do the same as yours kapag nacomplete ko un mixture mo. Hehe
Thank you very much for watching! 🙂 Yes, okay lang po ang 70% pumice and 30% vermicast. Belfiore Succulent Collection (you can check them on Facebook) actually use that soilmixture for their succulents, and their succlents are very healthy. Don’t be afraid to experiment on your own soilmix po, I just showed mine pero I didn’t say na ito ‘yung tamang soilmix. Pinakita ko lang po para may idea din po kayo incase you want to make your own. Salamat po sa pag-comment 😊
will cocopeat, vermicast, and pumice suffice for succulents?
Galing 😍
Thank you very much for watching! 🙂
I m from india
Will this soil mixer work even in cold weather?
Whats your cactus potting mix
how to water the succulents after planting.. thank you so much. God bless po
Thank you for watching! I usually water them after a week. I dilute plant and root hormone to the water. Then I water at the rim of the pot, just enough to moisten the soilmix.
