I definitely think out stitching holds the stories of what is happening around us at the time ❤ it sounds reasonable to me that it would be challenging to stitch something for someone you don’t know. Beautiful stitching! I have that Silver Creek Camper Chart and it’s getting kitted up to stitch this summer and now, I’ll think of you and your lovely intentions when you’re stitching yours - you made my day ❤❤❤
Oh Sherrie you do make me laugh, with all you tangents ,I feel like I'm sat in my craftroom with my mates having a laugh 🤣 not here by myself which is why I enjoy your floss tubes so much, beautiful stitching and all the projects you have planned ❤ honey 🍯 xx
Hi Sherri, Hope you are enjoying the nice weather and stitching a little outside, the winter in the UK feels like a lifetime, loved watching, always great craic, Honey .
Hi Sherri, Always pleased to see you have a new video, beautiful stitching, I always love your colour choices, when I had an operation for ovarian cancer a few years back, there was a small part of the wound that wouldn’t heal after the staples were taken out and they treated it with honey, I was totally amazed at how quickly it healed after just a couple of applications, it is amazing stuff.
"Charlie is sitting on my finishes because that's what cats do."😅 Also on my starts, my WIPS, my patterns, my tablet... Not to mention occasionally chomping on my threads! Your videos delight and inspire me. Thanks for powering through!
Great episode Sherrie, I was watching whilst minding my 3 month old Granddaughter she even thought you were great she was giving you some lovely smiles😂 honey
Another entertaining video, congratulations on Charlie, I’m pretty sure he’s at 100%. I tend to think about the person if I’m stitching a gift but I don’t see anything wrong with making a smalls exchange in advance, it’s not as if you know who will end up with it. One of my WIPs is as a gift for my husband for our 30th wedding anniversary next year, I try to only work on it when I’m in a good mood and think happy thoughts as I stitch as if to put that in the stitch. Also not weird about the sound of aida, or the focusing on the push of the needle or pull of the thread, stitching is definitely my therapy. Happy Stitching!
Another enjoyable video Sherrie. I love seeing all your projects. Hope you find your gift in the “safe place”. That’s the kind of thing I do. It’s probably with the June chart. The honey chart would be lovely to stitch 😊
I love watching your videos! I completely understand tying a memory to our stitching. I can vividly remember where I was when I stitched a project (most of the time). 😊. Thank you for sharing
Hi Sherri, Super fun spending time with you again, superb stitching and progress, my wife loves the tiny town series, but I haven’t stitched any for her yet, my Honey will be my first.
I stitched the sewing bird many years ago but I didn’t realise there were so many others, I must check those out, fantastic video as always Sherri, you manage to get so much done, My wee Dad loved honey and every time we went away I always tried to bring he some from that country , he especially loved the honey with the honeycomb.
Thank you Miss. Sherrie. I am always glad to watch your floss tube. I so enjoy you and Charlie. I am not one to have a lot of wips. But I always like the colors you change out. Take care!
Sherrie, I always enjoy your videos. I started doing cross stitch in Aug. 2022 and was instantly addicted! I have to force myself to stop stitching and do other things. I've even started sending my husband to do the shopping so I can stitch. We have been married 53 years and he has never before done the shopping. Honey
Hi Cherie, pleased to say I've finally watched all your flosstubes and you're responsible for so many laughs when I'm stitching late at night. I think we've met, but only briefly in April at the retreat as it was me with Kayla and Loran when you were chatting about the flosstube list size 😂 I was with my hubby who was doing jigsaws. We were also at Harrowgate same day as you but of course we didn't see each other as it was crazy busy and I hadn't found you on flosstube at that point. How much have I missed out 😳 Love your stitching and I've done a mirabilia on 28 ct evenweave hand dyed and it was fine and the beads fit better too. Keep making us smile with your Just So Cherie moments. I still recall Rudolph and Olive 😂😂😂
Hi Sherrie I think your Charlie is a definite Three, great stitching projects and charts,I like your name in the red don’t take it out, have a good week Thankyou for sharing 🇳🇿❤️🪡
As always a great floss tube. I did think I had lost you one minute you were 19:28 listed made a cuppa to settle down to see you and you were gone. Farmer and honey. Look forward to the next one. Happy stitching.
Somehow, I lost the episode I was watching this nornin', what happened? Not sure, but I'd watch you twice anytime love❤😊 I totally get it! Your needlework is imbued wit all that you are and experiencing while you stitch.
You've been so busy Sherrie! I was so sorry to miss you at Cowslip and hope to see you next year ;) I bought a mug in their little honey of a china shop too! Happy stitching my friend x
Beautiful stitching. Your finishes, WIPs, starts are all inspiring and enabling. The farmer harvested the honey so the bees could enjoy another day of stitching in the hive. Happy Stitching 🙋♀️
Hello Sherri, Hello Charlie, I love the Cat Lovers , I am adding it to my wish list right after this, I think the glazed carrots will be perfect. My brothers first cat was a wee ginger and the kids called her honey, I think she was a 19 when she died.
Oh Sherri, You do make me laugh, Charlie reminds me of our cat Poppy, she was a tuxedo too and very much did just what she wanted to do, I love the Snow Queen, doing a Mira is on my “Things to try in 2025” list, that reindeer is going to look magnificent, also on my list is Honey of a Tiny town so maybe I’ll be lucky 🤞
I was so glad to see another video! I love your stitching. Sorry you prepped for your test for no reason but it is funny. I’ve done things like that! Honey farmer
Great video as always Sherrie😊,no thanks needed I love watching ….since having to stop work due to disability flosstube keeps me smiling so I appreciate your videos so much x
Love it all Sherrie as usual! I think 2 frames is a great idea. No help with miras as not my cup 1:37:04 of tea.Honey and farmer are so cute. See you next time!❤
Another great video! I love to see your stitching and listen to what you've been up to. I think Charlie would make a nice addition to your family. You should keep him! As to your questions on Miras, I would suggest you reach out to Lori at Cross stitch, Cats and Chaos. She's the model stitcher (or one of), so if anyone can give you some guidance, I think she'd be the right person for the job.

Well I thought it was a short update from you Sherrie then realised at the end it was unfinished LOL!🙃 A honey of a Sherrie moment! Sorry if I jinxed your appointment by saying I hoped it might not turn out to be a waste of stitching time! I went to a small Quilt Show yesterday and bought 3 Caterpillar Cross Stitch Needle minders, two pieces of 28ct Linen - such a treat to see what colour I was buying - and some long pins and a kit to make a large embroidered Sewing box. I've more fabric than I'll ever use but a girl likes to go and look and thus spent up very quickly 😊 Always good to be with people who confess as we enter a Show "I don't really NEED anything and leave with a bulging bag full!!! Lucky daughter to be heading off into the 🌞
Hey Sherrie, love your vids lady!!! Your mirror question, do what you want, use your evenweave as you know it you love it so use it!! I don’t stitch on the recommended material at all, I do it on what I want and what I have on hand. I have a Bella Filipina that I have gotten the count I can cope with not what was recommended and its for me, no-one else and only I will know that its not done not the recommended material at all, so be you lady, do what you want hun ok!! I dont know if you saw them, but you had another couple of orbs float though as well, someone is definitely checking up on you dals Im 100% sure they are good ins ok!! Glad you are taking Charlie, he’s yours anyway, you know that too and he loves you so keep him. Loved everything, I picked up my stitching for the 1st time in 6 weeks last week. Ive been quilting and knitting during this time. Ive made 2 beanies, and Ive started a pair of socks so I reckon it’s because we are coming into Winter and there isn’t enough light in the day to stitch. And what have you done to your back??? Do you have a disc out or have you strained it. Get heat packs onto it, put a pillow under your knees when laying down, and when you have a shower, have it has hot as you can aiming to the area that is knotted - ok will get off my soapbox now hahahaha, stay well and safe dals, have a wonderful 2 weeks ❤
Solid advice all round Lisa, thank you. I’ve got arthritis in my lower back and it’s ramped up a notch so waiting to see MSK team (hopefully for a real appointment 🤪) pillow under my knees is something I’ve not thought of so will definitely give that a whirl 😀
You may not know this yet, but Charlie has decided he is your cat… or more clearly, YOU are his person. What’s more he has already moved in! All I know is from your videos and, of the three cats at your house, Charlie is the only one that I know by name! We have a cat just like Charlie. She chose us too. Her first owners have long moved away, but Ginger is still in residence, ten years later.❤ The red is perfect on your sampler! I’m glad you are keeping it.😊 Thank you for the nice long visit today. I really look forward to your videos.😘
So I am not a Mira stitcher yet! But…as far as fabric goes I make a couple of points…one that if you consider all your projects is there a trend as far as fabric goes to what you really enjoy stitching on? Ie list your favourites and see if there is a count or dyer that you prefer….also I struggled with a start on over-dyed 46 count….had decided to restart on 40count…but am stubborn so while waiting for another piece to arrive (weeks) I experimented with needles lighting etc and unsurprisingly it got easier…” I got my eye in” some projects need more time spent on them in each sitting….I think thats how people graduate to higher count linens! Imho. Charlie has made a good choice!
Cat Lovers looks fantastic! I recently found out I'm 80% Scottish. I could not have been more thrilled!! I for one would be interested in your color theory! We will gladly wait love❤ I have a dozen Miras, have I started one? NO! I'm chicken. I'm almost 70 and Have stitched my whole life, but am intimidated! I want to know about the 32 count even weave also, so please share❤
Oh welcome to the Scottish clan Rebecca. And I do know what you mean for the Mirra’s. They are quite intimidating but I’d definitely recommend giving them a go 😀
Honey, I totally get the feeling of stitching for someone specific. But if you make your beautiful stitching into a needlework, with the thought of it being a special exchange piece for a retreat, that would be sort of the same wouldn’t it? It would for me😊 Thanks for another great Flosstube. Hope you feel better soon, you looked like you were in pain😘
I think Charlie has graduated to #3 in full. His mom is going to move away and leave him behind. So it's up to you to accept him into your family permanently. Beautiful WIPS and progress. I also think about the person(s) I am making a gift for so you aren't as daft as you think. Patricia
I love King Charles, you so have three cats!! LOL he looks so at home with you, he choose you. Much like they say we did not domesticate cats, they domesticated us. I have two cat humans in my house and just love them dearly.
On your seasonal birds, why not do a magnetic board, you what I mean hopefully, they come in different shapes and some can be hung up or use one that sits on a stand. As the season changes you can simplify pop the right one on. Just a thought.
I fully understand that a stitched piece can remind you of events that were happening as you worked on it. But do you think the person who receives the stitching in an exchange is going to be able to pick up on that?! You seemed to have some concerns. I do try to think positive thoughts while stitching gifts, but anyone should be happy to receive a needlebook from the quaker design you finished. It was lovely. :-)
Hi Sherrrie, very entertaining floss tube as usual 😃 Lynn, Lancashire Stitcher may be able to advise re your Mira. Did you download your monthly Quakers if so is June still in your download folder? Or has it accidentally slipped into another month's folder perhaps. Happy stitching xx
Oh I’ve started stitching June, list the entire project bag. Thank god it’s only an amazon wallet one. It be even more annoyed if it was a hand made one 🤷🏼♀️
On your 32 ct problem fabric, have you tried only 1 thread instead of 2? Don’t concern yourself with what others do. It may not be for you. My suggestion is to go with what makes you happy! There are no cross stitch police🥰
Sherrie,I just love your flosstubes . Your one of my go to flosstubers as you always leave me with a smile. Your such a honey. Xx
Aw that’s so kind Jean ☺️
Always so look forward to your videos. Love all your stitching and you never fail to make me smile. I love all the tiny towns, honey 😊❤

Hi Sherrie,I'm having problems with my email.I'll try to sort it out in the next few days.Thanks.❤
No problem, thanks Donna ☺️
I fully understand that a stitched piece can remind you of events that were happening as you worked on it. But do you think the person who receives the stitching in an exchange is going to be able to pick up on that?! You seemed to have some concerns. I do try to think positive thoughts while stitching gifts, but anyone should be happy to receive a needlebook from the quaker design you finished. It was lovely. :-)
Thanks Deborah. You’re right of course, I need to get over myself 🙈☺️
Go buy yourself a new pattern!
Aw Rhonda you make me cry every single bloody time. Massive thank you, thank you, thank you ☺️

Fab video ❤honey 🎉
Thanks Angela ☺️
On your 32 ct problem fabric, have you tried only 1 thread instead of 2? Don’t concern yourself with what others do. It may not be for you. My suggestion is to go with what makes you happy! There are no cross stitch police🥰
You must’ve read my mind, I started one of the bewitching pixies yesterday using 1 over 2 on an overdyed 32ct to test it. We will see how it goes ☺️
