I think cash in if it’s around 7mill. He’s great going forward, but we don’t need a winger we need a solid rb like George was. I’m interested to see if Sam Curtis can step up to the level. If not Shackleton is a good player who can support the position. If all else fails I’d bring in someone on loan to allow for the younger players to acclimate to the men’s league.
Yeah don’t disagree- if it wasn’t Leeds (and let’s face it they’ll be big promotion rivals too) I’d be ok selling at the right price. We’ll almost certainly need the £
@@MattBDG in all honesty I’m not sure we will be in the automatic promotion race this season, I think 6-7 is more possible based on us having a threadbare squad, I’ll be happy as long as we get to build a proper foundation at the club again. As long as we can go to watch the blades and enjoy not getting battered off the park every week I’m happy. So long as Wednesday finish bottom half and we finish top half it will have been a good season. Of course should we get promoted id be buzzing but just can’t get excited about being a prem team currently(maybe that will fade).

But clearly what this club is lacking is a real foundation to build on if we get to the premier league otherwise we get repeats of last season. I believe we can be competitive whilst doing that. You can’t tell me you want to see a repeat of last season if we don’t do this the right way. I’m interested to see if this takeover happens whether the club can show more ambition with the rebuild, as it stands we have to be careful on our current budget.

We're a decent club nothing more than that but you go on about yourselves like you're worldwide giants that everyone knows about. Having a massive fanbase doesn't automatically make you a massive club. Clubs like Man Utd, Liverpool etc are massive. Leeds, Wednesday, Sunderland to name a few are just big clubs.

A bit indifferent about him leaving.
A player that had the odd purple patch when going forward. At times he looked like he was going to push on and be an awesome player only to quickly become anonymous and make poor decisions. Tried to do too much and lost the ball often and seemed to lack confidence in his own abilities at times.
Defensively was suspect and often out of position which resulted in silly fouls in dangerous positions.
There is a player in there but if he is to achieve his potential (now at Leeds) then he needs to improve his consistency.
I feel like its good money but to sell to a play off rival makes me think twice about this deal

Good for The Championship not good enough for the Prem unless you are going to use him in midfield, not strong enough defensively. Bogle has played a blinder getting a 4 year deal, United have done ok getting a decent fee for him. Leeds if they get promoted won't care but nothing is guaranteed...
Injury prone, and he played 36 games last season 😂 think someone is just butthurt tbh
He has had injury problems in the two seasons before last but as you point out he played the majority of matches last season. Hopefully those injuries are behind him but he did have a bad knee injury, think it needed a metal plate in his knee fitting. He's a good player for sure though, not one for assists so much but scoring goals and running past people to create space for others. He needs to improve defensively but he's young.
Good review of Bogle.
People just look at last season where he played the most and best football as a Blades player. In a season where the majority of players were poor we tend to look back more on the time before when he was up and down and in and out.
Let him go. A terrible defender. Not as bad as Lowe but not far off.
If he wants out, best he goes and gets replaced by someone with motivation

Ask yourself WHY our most talented players / biggest assets have all refused to extend their contracts?! Illy, Sander, Oli Mac, Egan, Jebbo now Bogle.

Sander was never consistent. Turned it on when he wanted to but was one of the most underwhelming players I've ever seen play for the club. Got no strength, fight or bottle, never won a 50-50. Just passed it sideways or backwards. Aside from an occasional burst into the box he's got nothing else. McBurnie aside from one decent season in 22-23 has been awful. Egan was our worst defender last season before his injury. Not the dominant defender people make him out to be. Jebbison's shite, Bogle was never anything special. Occasionally good going forward, defensively he's as bad as Max Lowe. Technically he's poor, his first touch was often horrific. Players we currently have aren't good enough but if you think those players listed are our best assets you're in dreamland. Most of them have done nothing for us.

We’d have kept him and he’d have been our starting RB, no doubt however we are just being honest and saying he’s not as good as what Leeds fans think.
When he’s good, he’s very good, but when he’s not he’s in and out of the team and a liability at the back and slows play down going forward.
Last season was his best season for us or you wouldn’t have come in for him but he’s struggled to hold down a first team spot since we signed him. That’s just the honest truth.
