Yeah, like me lol. Some Scottish accents I understand just fine, but not the BCR’s. I guess that’s the Edinburgh accent? For being such a relatively small country, Scotland has a lot of different accents. My ancestors were from in and around Inverness.

I remember seeing Molly on side stage at the Rollers concert at Brisbane Festival Hall 1976 with his mouth wide open because of the chaos! To say the least.. I reckon the Brissy girls were the wildest. When the concert was finished, it was like the end of a funeral, but..there was no wake. I was 13, and that was my first experience of death. I went home and cried and cried..
I was there too - in the stand to the right of the stage. As I remember it, Alan was on that side. So terrific. It was my first concert and I'll never forget it!
My mum was checking the girls being brought out to see if any were me. She also had Molly and BCR boys rushed past her, I was so jealous she got so close. How she managed to worm her way through goes to show how unprepared they were for Rollermania.
All I could hear at the Perth concert was girls screaming. Couldn't hear the music at all, just one hour of screaming 😂 We saw Molly in the lifts at the Sheraton earlier that day as we had wagged school, of course. We rushed into the foyer and the doors opened on the ground floor. Molly looked scared. 😂 He should have been. HE'D NEVER play Rollers on Countdown. We were so sick of Daryl and Elton.
Meldrum would NEVER play them on Countdown. We'd watch every Sunday waiting.. .He didn't approve. When we stormed the lifts at the Sheraton Perth, the day of this interview, the lift doors opened and .. .....😮 there was Molly's ugly mug, not the Rollers!!! but the man who wouldn't play them on Countdown. He looked terrified.😅 Lift doors closed quickly.
