You just have to have no criminal record, no mental health problems and have a good reason to have a gun. Usually people just say theyre joining a shooting club. You have to do an interview at the police station too, you could get a gun license within a month.

I carry a knife on me everywhere. It's more useful as a tool than a weapon. I use it multiple times a day. I even have to carry one at work to use for opening boxes all night. In the states it's just seen like having a tool you carry to use all the time. Unless it's a giant Bowie knife or something.. a nice flip blade is the most useful tool to carry on you. It can open bags, boxes and people 👍💯🤣

You would actually be allowed to have that in the UK too. The law regarding knives bans certain types, but it also states that if you have a legitimate reason to have one (self defense is not counted as a legitimate reason) then its fine. So if you need a knife at your place of work, you wouldn't be breaching the law by taking it to and from work. But if you walked around with it on a Saturday afternoon you'd be in breach of the law

Mexico has an amendment like the US that allows them to carry weapons, however they have to be of smaller caliber then their military, that’s why the Super .38 was invented. Basically they can’t carry anything larger than 9mm legally.
