I feel you on the up-dos. I've gotten better at making the back look presentable, but I never use to check the back before and would realize much later that while I thought my hair looked great, it was really a hot mess.
Thought that was great. It's refreshing to hear pros talk about the things that aren't so easy for them as well. I too hate applying lashes. Love the way they look but have a hard tim with them. Have creasing issues with under eye concealers so I avoid it at all cost. I think brown lipstick is yuck...so agree with you on that. I love the winged eyeliner look but when I do it, it either comes out perfect or way to thick.

EVERYTHING you just said with the possible exception of #1, I think! The self-tanning thing no longer even worries me (when I was younger I had a bit of a complex about being really pale) as I'm ginger and fake tan just doesn't work on my skin tone. I would say that it isn't even your fault :)

I just must smudge the mascara to my lids every single time I put on mascara! And I hear you, when I just apply a little bit of concealer or something to safe my face from looking like crap before work, it feels like "why bother when you don't paint your whole face!". But I'm slowly getting used to it, because my face really needs something and maybe I can live without The Everything.

I hear you on fake tan. I've tried various self-tanners, and it almost never works (ModelCo's Airbrush in a Can is the only one that's come close). I'll keep my pale skin, thanks.

Now we know why you do your mascara off camera. I smudge mascara on my lash line sometimes too, so now I don't feel as bad. :)

I have the SAME mascara problem, and its immensely irritating! I have to apply my mascara SOOOO carefully, and when I see beauty gurus just slapping it on willy nilly, wiggling it around like crazy without even paying attention, I'm so jealous!
