You need more testing. I would be vibing up and down on a slow drift, not stationary. Then if you want to compare with another lure, do so at the same time.... I would rate the lure a 8/10 and yeh I have caught fish on them on both tow points.
I've used and loved this lure since they came out with the smaller versions, I fish in estuaries and deep water like pittwater sydney. on a simple drop to bottom and lift then sink again I've caught flathead, bream and snapper. on the cast and retrieve and hop I've gotten bream and flathead. these lures are great and are now a staple in my tacklebox as they are a smaller and weaker vibe lures which seem to turn the fish on each to their own for their preferences but I highly recommend, it takes very little effort to get it to vibe so it's a great vibe starter lure. I do no recommend a steelz as a starter vibe as it takes a lot to get it to work.
Was this a morning fish just recently?? Because it's the dark of the moon and I found that the action is all at night and the fish are all tired out in the morning from chasing prawns all night.
Would’ve been a month or two ago now. We caught a 4 fish in 5 casts once we switched to the grub, I’m not sure what we were doing wrong with that lure but it defiantly didn’t work for us. -Max
Thinking of heading down to the Bay tomorrow myself. Been a while since I fished the oyster rack, they hold some huge bream and trevally. I always get distracted by the sand flats and the breakwalls. 😆 Next time you do a test like this, maybe put out a bait or another lure that you know works, e.g the grub etc you listed, on another rod ad fish them in the same places alongside each other as a control test so you can figure if the fish are just not hitting that lure or if they are just being a pain. It would have been more accurate knowing if they were just off the bite due to tide and you got onto them later with the grub because of the tidal change. (6 hours is the opposite tide after all) It was interesting (and I have taken note) and you sure put in the hard yards. I think that maybe the test could have been more controlled. Nice little chopper there.
You’re definitely right Andrew, we will have to test it out next to some other lures we know work. I think Max and I had such high hopes for this lure that we both wanted to fish it together 😂 Thankyou for the feedback - we greatly appreciate your support 🙏

We were in a rush to get back from the ocean as I get severely sea sick and was begging Max to hurry up and unhook the fish so we could get back to smooth waters 😂 - Denice

This is a gun lure! If you can't catch fish on these you're doing something wrong or the fish just aren't there. I've caught everything from flatties to kingfish on them. I've caught them on a boat out at sea, standing on a river bank and off the beach. They just catch everything! Maybe look at the action your imparting. Its a squid you're trying to imitate. Everything eats a squid surely. Good luck

A lot of people seem to be catching fish with them. I think more testing and more reasearch on the lure required.

When casting it do u rig on the top hoop or the end hoop

Thanks, yeah we’d had a bit of rain making the water quite cloudy. Perhaps that had an impact, definitely something going on it seems.
