This was the meeting where tosen turned his leaf. Tokinada sure inflicted devastating damage. Interesting note: Tokinada meets Yoruichi in the present tense of the novel and he laughingly states that he and the other nobles are vicious and desserve to take over the worlds. Yoruichi sadly laments that that this is true but reiterates that there are still good people among them. Kakyo's beliefs still resonate.

Tosen really believed that Aizen's cause was righteous.
Before his death we didn't know what Tosen's deal really was.
He heated that nobles can just toy with Rukongai residents how they please. Tokinada is a example of someone who shouldn't be in a position of power.
Aizen also doesn't like the nobility and would have never joined forces with someone like Tokinada. He also hates the people that live off of central 46.

Yes. Aizen is based off the Übermensch concept of Nietzsche. He hated them for being stagnant and breeding herd and not for moralistic reasons like Tousen. Tousen was the moral one here while Aizen was beyond good and evil.

Aizen and tousen can be considered anti villain or anti heros because they soul society is croupt they were the only characters wanted to change the world tousen was probably the closest thing Aizen had to a friend

@@dytgyfgyffuh243 which is why he took it upon himself to end his life when Tosen asked him to. A stark contrast to Ichigo and Urahara. Those two can match Aizen in strength and intelligence but don’t share his mindset. Tosen who is neither powerful nor intelligent does.

The past of Aizen-Sama's character is one of the most important topics that I think Tite Kubo sensei should address in the possible Hell arc. His family origin, the reason for his infinite spiritual energy, and his relationship with his enchanting Zanpakut can be fascinating and spectacular.

His past, family and power is not that interesting. His goals are. Cause anyone can be your family in SS, your past is not so different then anything seen and his power was simply peak shinigami power. There were stronger shinigami before him and there will be after him. So he might be some noble just to explain his absurd Reiatsu. But his goal is interesting one for sure. Its easy to just strive to replace Soul King or kill him or something like that in SS. Its probably a goal that many strong shinigami wanted to achieve if we look at it with some basic logic. Maybe not directly but to establish some kind of ruling power over SS in the end. But I bet that not many of them knew who the King is, what's he about, who is guarding him, where is he located and how to reach that place. Cause in Bleach Soul King is just like any other formality. There are Central 46 and Noble houses that run the place. So in the end for them the existence of Soul King is not really relevant in day to day business. It has no impact on their lives, meaning that they don't really know anything about him. And even if they did it changes nothing. So it all comes down to the fact that Aizen knew so many facts but we don't see any reason why he had that kind of knowledge. And about Hogyoku too. To even think there could be a object that is capable to do such things seems unreal even for Bleach universe. So it seems existence of Hogyoku is more or less accidental. While trying to merge shinigami and hollow powers Aizen and Uruhara produced the same thing. Still there is a question "why?". Imagine if someone in real world tried to invent an object to merge humans and animals. That would be an analogy I guess. It seems possible but no serious biologist would consider it or think of it as possible to create. Its creation of chimera essentially. But where does it all come from? What has got Aizen to even do that? He knew he needed more power to invade Soul Palace and did he knew what waits for him there? Seems he didn't knew what Ouken really was. He knew it was a key and found a way how to make one but its never implied that he had the knowledge of Soul King granting Ouken to Royal Guard. Maybe its revealed in those novels but I never read those. I need to get up to speed cause Kubo said they are cannon I believe. Aizen really is one of the kind character. I also forgot to mention the shinigami library. I refuse to believe that Aizen learned anything crucial about the King there. Yes, there was info on Ouken but Kubo never went into detail. Was info specific or his research just provided him to alternative way to create such an object. I bet its the latter.

@@sasagrcevic475 I agree with you, my friend. Aizen is an important, multi-dimensional, and mysterious character, and the creative creator of the Bleach universe is expected to keep this character in the context of the story until the end of the final arc of the Bleach story and reveal the expected hidden angles of his past and future to us. We know well that to understand a character's goals, we must also know his background, and knowing the origin and ideals of this character gives a more complete vision to identify with him. We saw a good example in this video, which Mr. @simourahara well explained. If we are not aware of Kaname Tōsen and Aizen's flashback, we do not understand the real reason for Tōsen's death and his special connection with Aizen. The past is the light of the future.

I don't consider Aizen a villain. Ichibe and the Royal Families were all present when they dismembered the Soul King.
I think the 'Hell Arc' will lay more of the Soul Society's villainy out in the open.
Also, 😂 if Urahara wanted to get Mayuri back then, he didn't have to take Hiyori. It was a straight power 💪 flex. "If you want to act up and be a dissident, I'll stick you in the Soul Society's Sanctuary District.".😂

Gin revenge was really dumb move from Kubo. Goes to show that he was clever but in grand scale of things he was fucking dumb as pile of bricks. Yes, Aizen is strong but during all those years in SS he is still a regular shinigami in terms or being as vulnerable as any other shinigami can be. So in the end Gin was probably dumb guy. Aizen could have died probably from million poisons located in Mayuris lab or something like that. It would make more sense if Gin wanted to take over his plan, failed and died. But chasing to kill single guy for hundred years and failing is lame as hell. He did more damage then good. And all for Rangiku and some dudes he never knew. He was not even intimate with her I presume. I bet Mayuri can make some glasses that prevent effect of KS if given enough time. Its hypnosis after all. So you probably need to prevent some chemical reaction that happens in the brain and allows us too see stuff that isn't real. Maybe if Gin was smarter he could have done the same. Also, telling on Aizen and reporting to Central 46 would have maybe better effect. Like saying: "I was there when Aizen did that and that". To simply put it act as a mole in Aizens little group.

Well yeah, but if he told on Aizen at that point then who would even believe him? If you remember before Aizen publicly betrayed the SS, nobody expected in their wildest dreams that somebody like Aizen could be capable of such things, so who would believe Gin? There's also the fact that Aizen more or less had the entirety of the SS under KS so he had all of them dance in the palms of his hands to begin with. If Gin tried to sus out Aizen he could have just used KS to make Gin out to be a traitor or something.
Gin himself said that it took him so long to go for the kill because Aizen never, ever let his guard down, even for a second, until he got the Hogyoku's power at which point it didn't matter if he was serious anymore or not

@@furiousdestroyah9999 Still he could have collected some kind of evidence. This is why I say he is a dumb guy. Gin is good manipulator it seems but his intellect is average at best when it comes to doing stuff like Aizen did or Urahara or Mayuri. Dude had years to come up with a good plan and still failed. He should have known Aizen was onto him or at least assume that. His emotional intelligence is off the chart and we see it in his interactions with Aizen. He reeds him very good on a lot of occasions. He makes him move late cause he is dumb. He saw what HG can do but still assumes his bankai is enough to kill Aizen. This is why I said his chance was during Aizen shinigami days. He missed it long time ago. Also he had a chance to try it before they went to HM and at least leave Aizen there and then. Or run a double agent scheme from HM.

No romance he said.... Gin stayed from a young age(nd as soul reapers age differently than humans) he must have stayed hundreds of years with aizen n played a double agent just so he could avenge her.. And put a end to aizen. Romance aint about buying roses n telling someone you like or love them. True romance is seen in deeds nd the moves you make and not the price tags and/or the many love yous you would say. Silly you
