Nah you just need to convert the 3.5 to usb c and plug that into the hub. It will work and you can control the volume. You can also still charge the phone. I’ve had no luck with dongles. Like I said I am sure they could fix this with a firmware update.
@outlaw-live maybe even try HDMI output through a hub if yours already supports that. Just spinning ideas I really have no clue unless I'm sitting in front of the same shit you are looking at.
@@SKRILLA4DBD well this is for audio. the receiver has a usb c port and 3.5 - hdmi doesn't apply in the scenario. But I like that your thinking it out. HDMI is useless for the phone's camera in my opinion - there is a latency issue - hdmi is ok if you just want to mirror your phone to a tv etc.
Well the wireless go will work over usb c but the issue is your lose control of the volume and it’s coming in at -20 to -30 db. The ntg works on usb c and has a better volume incoming but you can’t control the volume on that mic with its dial. So you have to use the 3.5 on either for the control to work
So we still need a dongle... it's always something... go digital they said... haha!

The way I understand it the C audio is always going to compress audio signals
I am sure it’s something that could be fixed in a firmware update. They just need to execute.
It may work if you can find a hub that could do like Optical or even 3 channel audio

Just FYI give the hollyland lark max wireless a try it works over USB c, does rode include a special cable for the NTG? and or is yours defective?

Did you get the Rode cord?
Yeah but that’s for the studio on dslr camera work. This is for live streaming with the phone. 📞
