Agree, i still didnt understand how Fallout 76 dev, or even Bethesda didnt rework the legendary affix again. Why not put unique things on the affix other than damage damage and more damage...
Not exactly accurate, the two shots total 125% of normal damage but it's split between both projectiles Lets say your gun does 100 dmg, each projectile does 50 but then both bullets get hit by armour ratings and damage reductions separately
Two shot can stack up pretty well. Hypothetically, if you have a gun that does 100 damage, and you add 300 damage to it with perks (400 damage), TS can bump it up to 500 (400*1.25) while something like B can only do 495 (400 + 100(.95)) due to TS being multiplicative rather than additive. TS also synergizes well with explosive. Just depends what your build is like and the other effects on your gun.
I would revisit your description on two shot. You’re not wrong but I would add some more detail. (I also wouldn’t rank it so high) 1. The recoil debuff is not to be ignored. Especially on heavy weapons the recoil with TS can be so bad that your overall dps is substantially lower because of missed shots. 2. Even if both projectiles hit it’s only a 25% damage increase…you can do a lot better with other mods 3. TS does not mean double projectiles, it technically only adds 1 projectile. So a shotgun would only go from 8 to 9 projectiles. TS on any multi-shot weapon is pointless. 4. The two shot modifier reduces the damage of each projective to 62.5% of the normal damage. However, that only applies to the impact damage of the projectile itself. Explosive damage is entirely separate and is not impacted by two shot. So, two shot automatically because the best modifier for any explosive weapon because it’s actually doing double the damage. Two shot is best in slot for any fat men, rocket launchers, grenade launchers, and grenade machine guns. Even regular guns with the explosive bullets can benefit greatly. Sidenote: most legendary effects also apply to the grenades you have equipped! Bloodied or instigating grenades are op!
@@ScryeTheMindless Statistically. Some of it they are correct on, some of it not so much. Still I would say if you follow this you wont be that bad off. Just remember it depends a lot on the weapon if a legendary is good. Much more than they let on. You will just have to try them out. Best way to learn. Two shot does not work like that anymore, lets say that at least. But several people have already posted about that in the comments
My bloodied build is more of a means to an end, with unyielding i get a ton of exp so I can go get the perks I want and upgrade my legendary cards. Then once I get the perks I want I can switch it up. Although i absolutely love my vampire enclave flamer
Aristocrat does the most damage. Anti armor only has an effect on armor, so an enemy with low armor isnt affected by it. Aristocrat does 50% damage across the board which makes it the best only behind bloody.
When talking about boosting damage of a weapon it just boosts the base damage without perks or food. Also the way you explained two shot was how it originally worked. It hasn't worked like that in years. First projectile does full damage and second projectile does 25% of the first projectile if both hit you can see sometimes both are not so close together. You were spot on about bloodied because it boosts damage most when you're at 10% health but most people run 20-30. But i like to see the hardcore bloodied group get salty about it. Drop it down to the lowest teir next time so we can watch their heads explode.
I get most of these decisions to a degree. But junkies over both aristocrats, and mutants? I don't get at all. Mutants is generally a really good stepping stone for mid experience players who are looking to optimise damage, but lack the resources to invest in bulk legendary modules. Also many players will sell serums at reduced prices in vendors, leading to many players having access to mutations much earlier than otherwise. This makes the mutations perk a great mid-game option with a solid damage increase. Once players reach late game, they either go full health or low health. Low health players will always take the bloodied build while full health will either take a weapon specific perk, otherwise the aristocrats as caps are usually going up rather than down, even with 20K caps the damage is still higher than mutants. The trouble with junkies is that addiction reduces your SPECIAL stats and then you either have to use addictol to get rid of them, or keep using more chems to keep going, something that will require a huge cap investment, or resource investment. Both things which are unavailable to new players. And by the time they do get the necessary resources they have moved onto something else.
Vampiric is unironically so busted. All the way up to level ~50ish, I was still using the same level 20, one star combat shotgun I got at level 20 regardless of its low damage, because it was able to keep me alive through so much punishment. In lots of fights, I would be taking so much damage that having a 3x stronger weapon wouldn't have even gotten the kill fast enough for it to matter. But the vampirism would let me take as much time as needed to get through it. Plus, I don't have to waste weight and time carrying around stimpaks and retreating so I can use them.
Definitely go for the 2star/3stars video! This was soooo helpful. I'm glad I had a pretty good grasp of the abilities as a new player! I didnt think too much of the two-shot and recycled some for scrips but I'm happy with my Quad Railway for now lol.
@@ItzTermx it definitely is! I’m also considering heavy gunner/PA. But another reason why this video was so good is because I’m mostly the research type, and I have a friend and my wife playing too and they just wing it lol. So now I can share tips as to what to go for. Wife is going for shotguns build while my friend is going for handguns. I’ll prob eventually try them all as that’s how I keep engaged with games, but I’ll still with these 2 until I get some legendary cards up in levels.
Be careful if you ever get a two shot explosive V.A.T.S. optimized combat shotgun, you won't be able to find enough limbs to sate its appetite to cripple
After 5 years, as near as I can tell, Bloodied was your only (just my personal opinion) mistake. Like I said, it's just my personal choice. But this is also a list for new players. So, a bloody build would be a bit tougher until at least level 50 when you are max gear level.
Never liked bloodied. Running around with low health and either getting knocked down constantly or wiping everything in a second makes the game boring.
it’s still arguably the best build using perks such as serendipity and ricochet makes it viable and it’s nice having all of your special stats be above 30 because of unyielding but i do get wiping everything in a matter of seconds makes the game a lot less fun
I’d put bloodied in S-Tier, it’s the goto for every low health build. Just like anti-armor for full health builds. It’s better than two-shot and instigating and miles ahead of everything in A tier.
I mean unyielding armor is why you do low health builds. Bloodied is the just the cherry on top. You can still use anti-armor if your rads fluctuate because of the fight and vampire if stealth isn’t an option. Quad is also amazing, a quad railgun is better than any bloodied gun.
@@RPGandFPS I think A or S is fitting, some other builds out there where you can do little less damage but be way more tanky, it is def a fun build and hella carry weight. But again bloodied really needs unyielding to do work. While anti armor and two shot can work on more builds.
@@bobbythorton7693 I think you should always judge something based on how it acts in its optimal format. Which in bloodied’s case its S-tier without a doubt, nothing beats it out for low health builds unless maybe its a quad rail. Unyielding or low health PA, bloodied is king period.
@@RPGandFPS I think it used to be king and BIS in pvp but now it's a very easy way to get a great build. I do believe it's s tier and I do think it's one of the best builds in the game. But not the best best. Assassin builds are better for example for pvp. But bloody build is going to be great for some things, great dps great carry weight with good mobility. While being a glass cannon
Junkies should be S teir, you can aim to get the least impactful withdrawls and have 50% up at all times. I have seem so many bloody build players dying dozens of times and I don't even die once. There is a time and a place for bloodied but running bloodied 24/7 may not always be the best idea. Also there are some weapons with modifications that add anti armor like some rifles do 40% armor penetration so you might be better off going with junkies or bloodied over anti armor in those cases.
@mattmcdonald8348 junkies is on par with aristocrats damage wise. But with aristocats you don't need to run around having 5 different penalties on you at the same time. Plus both are either 4th or 5th in terms of damage output from a prefix. Saying junkies is trash is a bit of exaggeration but it's nowhere near top tier
@@MrSirMang problem is I am never near the limit for caps, If I see a vendor with a shit ton of 3 stars for under 1000 I am taking the entire stock! I don't use chems so I will always keep the 50% damage up at all times
At this point, just make a video on meta rolls for each weapon Name like 2 variants for each, maybe 3, and that would answer most questions everyone would be looking for in these separate videos Even I would come back for that and im about to search for that now (With associated buil name)
You need to explain how two shot is so good. Two reduced damage projectiles that net +25%damage for most weapons means at best +25% damage. They use ammo twice as fast a well. I have seen people mention that explosive damage is based on the full damage,so a two shot explosive has two full damage explosions still, even though the projectile damage is reduced
Why you put juggernaut higher tier than the gourmand when they literally have the exact same damage? Only difference is that gourmand is easier to keep at max, which is funny since you gave it F. What is wrong with you?
Hey watching your tier videos and I am newer to the game, but a request to end the video with a summary graphic or link a still image in the description. Been taking pics to be able to reference your detailed info on the fly. Thanks and great work very informative
Great vid, thanks! For basics it gives some good insights for casual or under lvl 200 players. Two shot is worse than in the beginning but I find it works well with my gauss minigun (vanilla, unmodded b/c I don't have the faction to upgrade). I ran around with 4 versions; AA, Mutated, Furious, and 2shot, (after building over 25, those were the best I could get) testing them on scorchbeasts. The 2shot melted it the best, as long as I could stay in vats, compared to the others. You burn through ammo so you have to take into account buying bulk lead eventually. BTW, I know gauss mini is probably the most annoying weapon to have in an event, besides the dork chain throwing nuke grenades or calling in arty, lol.
Instigating in S? That one seemed like a waste, but then again it was always on something like a gatling laser 😂 Im sure its good with single shot weapons and such Edit: oh, you explained it perfectly. I didnt think about melee, now I need to stop turning everything into scrip before double checking it
Ended up with a instigating crossbow at low level with no perks and that lil bugger is still capable of one shotting most chaff mobs with a body shot, head shots for tougher chaff. It'd likely rock on a Robin Hood/ medieval build. I think the other perk was a -90% condition loss it had on it, I still have that crossbow, kinda torn between mounting it on display or dropping it off in a low area donation box for the next wave dwellers. :)
Everybody mad at Bloodied not being S tier. But huge portion of bloodied builds use a Vampire weapon anyways. You still get Adrenal Reaction and Nerd Rage, Emergency Protocols/Serendipity, and Unyielding. Theres still so much benefit for low health outside of just Bloodied weapons.
Vampiric is absolutely busted on any Very fast melee weapon you are immortal as long as you have AP and ur weapon is not broken i was fighting a blue devil that was level 75 while i was level 29 with a vampiric drill, it did almost 1/5th of my health per hit while i was wearing full power armor and i managed to get it to half hp... then the drill broke
Last video I'm gonna judge out of boredom. Wipe out "depends" as a tier. S tier should be bloodied, anti armor(best in slot imo, even better than bloodied on bloodied builds), vampires(tank builds only), and quad(auto rifles). A should be two shot (explosive weapons only because it does double explosive damage), instigating(cremator, maybe single shot weapons), and aristocrats(very, very low A). Everything else is unbelievably bad in comparison, F tier with like 3 empty gaps between it and A
This comment is in no way a negative critique. Great video but you should have left the tier list up at the end so we could review all the results. In fact throughout the whole video the list could stay on screen longer. It’s too common that UA-camrs state ‘just pause here to view the list’ then cut straight back to irrelevant game play. However this channel offers fantastic clear and concise script delivered well. It’s great to see cleaver content and editing in intros and passing scenes but the over use of game play as ‘filler’ shows overall composition weakness. Letting viewers retain audio information requires the visual information to stay in view for all levels of reading abilities. This ensures all viewers at any level of comprehension keep coming back to your channel. 👍
I think the depends category is awful, you could hypothetically put every legendary effect on in the depends category. I think you should look at what build each legendary effect is for and how good that build is when you rank them
I've just started playing not long ago, level 43 and I been enjoying the game besides the Storage issues. I keep running out and have to toss or drop Armor and weapons I want. I can't save certain Armor or weapons to get a set. I also get tired of changing my Special Cards around for doing something for just a minute and forgot to switch it back. I just really wish they had more Storage. I believe you can get more but it cost more and I refuse to do that. Besides that been having a blast. Great job with the video.
Unfortunately you cant even pay more for more storage, but with fallout 1st you get unlimited ammo and scrap storage. Id recommend not hoarding different types of ammo or plans as plans weigh .25 each and they can start to stack up weight if you ignore them. Im over lvl 500 and i always make sure i have traveling pharmacy lvl 3 on and carry all my aid with me, and thru hiker lvl 3 and carry all of my food with me except for ingredients for future food. Get a few extra chassis to stack extra PA pieces on that you might be saving for scrip, and what i usually do is drop any useless 1 or 2 star legendaries that i wont be using to save more stash weight for 3 stars to trade in for scrip, hope some of this helps. Also you can purchase extra class slots with atoms earned in game, i have a crafting class and 3 combat classes i can swap through quickly, but it really sucks when you forget to swap back and only notice once you get to an event.
@@eprimchad2576 Yes it helped alot. I just sold 3 Chasses because they were 10 lbs each. I haven't unlocked the Power Armor Bench yet. So once I get that Bench my PA can Stay at my Base as long as I have them on Chasses? That would be excellent because most of my Storage concist of PA part's. Also all my Plans are in Storage. Wasn't sure if you lose the plans once you got rid of them. Thanks so much for the info. I'm wondering if I should have had the PA Bench by now being almost level 50. I think I'm not doing the Quest in the right order. Thanks again bro.
@@AdamKing-k5z the pa station only allows you to craft and modify power armor on a chassis, you can fill a chassis with power armor parts and store it in your stash box and it will only weigh 10lbs regardless of what pieces are on it, but be sure to rename them by inspecting them if you have a few because you cant see what parts are on them until you place the set of armor. ( mine are named Scrip Chassis 1&2 etc.) Im not sure at which point you unlock the PA station as i did it years ago but i believe its from a main or side quest, and if not you should be able to find it in a vendor. You can also get power armor displays for your base if you want to show off some sets youve made. For now i would just use extra chassis as storage for parts when youve hit your daily scrip limit, but if you play often dont be afraid to throw away the heavy 3 star weapons/armor and keep the lighter weight ones if youre going to be getting rid of them anyways. Plans youve already read can be sold to other players for sometimes a great profit, or just sell them cheap to maintain a supply of caps, but sometimes youll end up with 10-20 of the same easy to get plan and that will start to take up alot of stash space. One other recommendation is to collect explosives and all of the aid/drugs you find and sell those at the train station vendors, this will net you 1400 caps per day.
The only faction guns i would actually consider good are for bots, scorched, and mirelurks (mostly because the queen is a pain). Also i primed my zealot gauss minigun. Found it funny.
New player here. Over 6ish days ingame time, started a month ago or so. Level 235, bloodied settlers gaunt and unyielding SS buttress and ultra light mods. Gotta say I die 3/10 in events and its been really fun, keeps me on my toes to spam a stimpak when I know I’m gonna get beamed or multi attacked, I don’t do guns cause when I started during launch I couldn’t find enough ammo in the game hence why I’ve been playing unarmed. Point is if you have fun with it then go for it. Currently planning a full hp build for the future cause why not? I think I’d be fun to just tank shit with a 2h 😂
Do you know if the Two Shot work with the Concentrated Fire perk? You know first shot does what ever percentage to hit while the second shot get the increase percentage
I never understand Bethesda creativity of pigeonholing legendary affix on weapon into just more damage modifier. Why not rework to make weapons in this game more interesting ex: Mutant: if you are mutated, has chance to poison your enemies based on how many mutation u have. Juggernaut, Half firing speed, but double the damage. Suppressor, Slow enemies movement effect like freezing aside of 25% reduced enemy damage debuff. Assassin increase crit damage. Berserker, Increase firing rate further, increase Crit accumulation, but half your defense. Stalker, makes you more stealthy, silences your weapon. Troubleshooter, Reduce reload by half. Zealot, add fire and energy damage to the weapon. Junkie, transfer debilitating addiction effect enemies. Hunter, makes you see enemies through walls like effect. bleed damage. Affix that makes abandoned weapon usefull i think.
I'm not sure where it's at on the list yet but I saw the "You gain more damage the more hits on the same target" On a flamer i got and just that perk, no build around it at all was melting most level 75-100 enemies more than my other guns (I have a really old build and gave most of my important items away before i quit like an idiot lol)
The flamer is crazy, theres a new one recently added called holy fire that does even more dmg, has more range, and shoots blue fire, i cant recommend it enough.
@@eprimchad2576 I saw the blue fire one and thought it was a mod or something. I also saw a pink mist looking one? Like a plasma caster almost but a pink ball came out? Any idea what it's called so I can youtube it? Thanks for the tips, man :)
@@eprimchad2576 I was assuming it dropped from blue devil and I was correct. Sad, I've been getting pretty lucky with special weapons from specific events, but no Holy Fire, yet. Now I know what to look for, though. I'm only missing the covert scout mask for my appereance and I'm almost set Made a new character and got the makeshift ronin helmet plans finally and then realized it's character locked 🤧
People really lean into bloodied but my AA plasma caster seems to out dps everyone at bosses, on normal enemies it does so much dmg the AA doesnt even matter, and on sbq while fully buffed im doing 2-300 per hit and doing crits upwards of 900 dmg without being a crit build, this thing chunks health and of all the bloodied builds ive tried nothing compares to it (lvl 500+) obviously there are some exceptions but from my experience its the most all purpose gun by far.
You feel like you are laying down the damage, but go solo a few bosses and try your builds there. You quickly learn that it is the low health crit commando builds that carry the events. The only way you can make a heavy build come close is if you spam coffee and crit spam with a heavy.
Ive had an Anti-Armor Railway Rifle with 2 random ass effects which i cannot remember in my box the day i hit lv 50. My first 3-star legendary pull in the game. Never used it tho 😂
You're sleeping on Mutant's. It's half the effectiveness of a strung out Junkie's weapon, sure, but you get none of the downsides of addiction debuffs.
I've tried most builds in the game and it stacks up in order as bloodied, Anti-armor, Aristocrats, Junkies, Instigating(can't have explo on it otherwise you hit everything and perk is now useless", Two shot for damage. Vampire's are great but they aren't great for dps and quad isn't really any better than using a non legendary weapon tbh. Anti-Armor only beats bloodied on earle fights due to his high armor. Aristocrats is just a better junkies and Instigating Is only good for high damage per hit weapons, I.E. Gatling Gun, Gauss Rifle, Hunting Rifle, Lever Action, Harpoon Gun, Broadsider, and others. But if it isn't 1 tapping the enemy then it isnt very good and you might as well use a regular weapon after that first shot. I don't understand why people think that bloodied is so bad now after the nerf a couple of years ago, it's still the top damage dealer since literally everything but Anti-armor got nerfed.
ah he isn't comparing builds though he is only comparing the weapon affix. I always run low health builds, but almost never run a bloodied weapon as they are just a straight up dps loss on bosses compared to quad. (unless we are talking heavy guns and coffee spam)
Honestly this is not the best thing to go on because the type of weapon has a ton to do if the legendary is good or not more so than what the legendary really does. Best thing to do would be to get a build in mind and look up that build to find out what fits best. You really dont need to worry about legendary weapons until 50 anyway because anything you get before then you will keep replacing but weapons stop leveling at 50.
It depends on the weapon. Some two shot is good for, most not, any launcher its best, anything else it just adds a 25% bonus that can miss. It sounds like it should be great on things that already shoot a lot of shots but i find its not. He was talking about how it worked years ago not anymore. Some quad is good for, most not, shotguns its great, tesla or gama gun its best. Anti-armor or bloody is pretty much the best.
I personally hated bloodied build untill I played with it. It feels like hardcore mode for fallout 76. You die faster, you kill faster. If played correctly it is fun
Two shot only gives %25 bonus damage and less accurate hits. It's kinda less useful than most damage based effects. Mutant's and Gourmet have same damage as two shot but most folks doesn't use them. Executioner, Supressor, Assassin's are for PVP. Supressor is not really a group thing tho but good in pvp if the enemy got very high fire power. And vampire is best on Enclave Flamer or Flamer weapons in general. Most "faction" based effects are useless. Stalker, Juggernaut and Berkerker is useless. Tbh Bloodied should be S tier, specially if you are a bloodied commando. You are a dps beast. Anti armor depends on the enemy. Some enemies have very little armor so it's not necessary on same cases. Still pretty solid effect. Instigating could be good with single shot weapons. Maybe The Dragon and sniper type of stuff to one shot some enemies. Also good with swing melee.
How does 2 shot work? Because ive been running 2 shot guns since i restarted the game, and when getting guns without two shot, i noti ed the damage equates ti the same amount, or like a 3point damage difference. I had a magnum that did 134 damage, and a twk mahnum that just did 67x2. Both were the same pevel and everything. I had a couple guns like this. So it turned me off to two shot. Am i missing something?
So two shot on everything except missile launchers, grande launchers and fatman just gives double gun breakage less accuracy and I believe range and only 25% more damage so pretty trash
Yeah was thinking the same thing. I also obly use two shot my explosive builds, and even then i do noticed that i dont do much more damage, vht do cover a higher area@@PROCHIMNEY
I feel like a lot of the depends should be F, Like for instants the ghoul slayer I think is just a troll perk because why do more dmg to something that can already almost be one shot.
@@ItzTermx Yeah I get that, To be fair not all are useless :o like the Zealots for the scorched is crazy even with ultracite ammo for that %25 more dmg. But yeah I was reading some of the other comments and this is a quick easy list for newer players to help guide them in the correct path.
Pic a build have fun just remember this one children Crouch down w/o a gun in your hand go edit your characters look in the menu and immediately get out of the menu pull out gun it is best to be in third person view this is the semi-permanent extra bonus hidden perk is on dose not go away till u put your gun away
those specific effects are bad because things like aristocrats exist and juggernaut, so you dont need to be a bloodied build to have higher damage. lets say u want a scorch beast queen gun, why have a specific gun that uses up weight and maybe ammo when you could just get the other ones that dont have conditions that limit a specific type of enemy.
I think what also should be mentioned regarding bloodied is that you most likely will be running nerd rage and adrenal reaction alongside it which results in up to +178% damage
And that is all mididagted by ARMOR AND ENERGY RESISST. LOOOOOLOOOOLOOOL. yeah no your not doing as much as you think you are. AA and diffrent TS are doing more dmg then you. By the time you run back to the event die run back die we all have done more dmg then you ever would
@@Nemissis4265 No you are wrong and tf is this answer btw? For example if we compare both a bloodied lvl 50 combat rifle and a AA one. The base damage is 40 and will stay that way for the AA whereas it will be 106 for the bloodied one (at 20% health, adrenal and nerd rage). The target is the chest of lvl 100 super mutant which has a DR of 118. Damage is calculated as follows: Damage * Damage resist. For the bloodied one this means 106 * (0.01(0.99[106*0.15 over 118]^0.365)) -> 106 * 0.0047 which is 0.50 meaning it deals 50 Damage. For the AA one this means 40 * (0.01(0.99[40*0.15 over 59]^0.365)) -> 40 * 0.00429 which is 0.17 meaning it deals 17 damage. And before you want to tell me that comparing bloodied + buffs against AA is unfair the bloodied damage would still be higher. 72 * (0.01(0.99[72*0.15 over 118]^0.365)) -> 72 * 0.00412 which is 0.29 meaning it deals 29 damage. I dont know the calcs for TS but im sure bloodied will still be better. Regarding the dieing over and over again i can simply say from experience this also not true. Yes bloodied players run a higher risk of dieing because they are at like 60 hp all the time but with somewhat decent armor enemies deal like less than one dmg anyway and if something hits harder just pop a stim so no big deal. I am currently running a T-65 with 3 oe and 2 Bolstering pieces and i can face tank every boss or stand in front of multiple super mutants/aliens without any problems
I've been playing since launch...that event can melt anyone if you get hit by the imposter sheepsquach. I have the best armor and guns in the game and I can get insta killed and also do lottle damage to it.
Here’s the secret to defeating the imposter…ready? The robots are affected by the vampires effect soooooo the gauss mini gun vampires will even the odds drastically! Power armor is a must any kind will do doesn’t matter. You have no business with the imposter unless you’re 100 levels or more. The perk stimpacks heal better is a must as you will be pumping stims as you activate the pylons. Turn on the imposter and run backwards in a circle keep away from the claws. You win solo. Easy. The perk energy absorbs helps but not necessarily needed. You might die twice but you will win
i dont understand instigating, its only sole purpose is to do more damage on the first shot and i can see it in explosives but once something takes damage and its not full health its pointless
I understood the placement of bloodied up until you put instigating in S tier lol. Instigating is awesome but bloodied is literally instigating but all the time 😀 minus 5-15 bonus dmg
Wait quad and bloodied aren't the same * spot? That's awesome I've been stopping at bloodied thinking bah I'm never gonna get a quad bloodied anything because they are the same *. Thanks for that revelation - it alone was worth reading the comments!
my guy you definitely need a B tier at least, maybe a C too. Also humans, animals, insects, etc... it doesn't depend - these enemies are all so weak those effects are F tier. The depends tier isn't a great idea. love the content though, it's a fresh view for lots of new players!
faction specific is not useless but greatly reduced against non faction targets. Let's be clear on this one. You imply it is an all or nothing choice. Is that really true?
As a bloody build, I can tell you looks can be deceiving. You may think we only have ten to twenty percent health but in reality it's 5 to 6 times more than full health bars.
My damage reduction is 90% and when I’m done my build it’ll be 95%, bloodied doesn’t have more health but I haven’t died in a week of playing so just remember it’s not bloodied being bad it’s just you not being set up to handle bloodied builds.
@@TheHeretic0099 Math doesn't lie, Low health builds have a higher effective health pool than a full health build. This is simply because there is more % based mitigation at lower health levels. Now you could run a full health build with all the perks and gear for bloodied and have more effective health but then you are just gimping your damage most of the time for no reason.
Great guide however one issue with the junkies prefix is it doesnt work when you are sated/high on drugs or alcohol only when withdrawn, so if you have one preferred chem get an addiction to five others as well to use junkies with your preferred chem.
Bloodied is S, it’s not that hard to become indestructible at 20% health especially with power armor. Without it u can still run unyielding which is goated
Because thats what two-shot does. without the complicated math, It fires two rounds, each doing 62.5% damagem, twice for a total damage increase of 25ish % on each shot. So when you hit you have two lasers with worse overall damage each and therefore, less penetration or damage against enemies with energy resistance.
One thing I'll say: quad gatling laser with the perk the that gives you double de duration of the fusion cores, it's just 4000 shots, 1 core
Quad Assaultron Head is dumb but fun as hell
I didnt even think of that damn, thats so good
Gatling lasers with quad weren't like legacy and removed?
Sadly, it's legacy now
@@Soultiger2100 that applies to the gauss minigun ? Because I have one with quad and other effects I don't remember
The real picture for beginners is: anti-armour, bloodied, quad, vampiric is a stats you should look for. Anything in “depends” nothing but “F” tier
I agree with those four being top best effects
Agree, i still didnt understand how Fallout 76 dev, or even Bethesda didnt rework the legendary affix again.
Why not put unique things on the affix other than damage damage and more damage...
Two shot is situationally better than B/AA, so long as you’re also having it synergize with explosive. Otherwise, you’re really after aa b q for dps.
second shot was nerfed a while ago, its second shot does 25% of total damage not doubled and 25%
Not exactly accurate, the two shots total 125% of normal damage but it's split between both projectiles
Lets say your gun does 100 dmg, each projectile does 50 but then both bullets get hit by armour ratings and damage reductions separately
@@karasabrekitty5208 can you guess what 100% + 25% = to?
@@hardboiledaleks9012 you really don't understand what i said do you, that 100 was an example of what your gun says it does between the two shots 🤦♀️
(I also wouldn’t rank it so high)
1. The recoil debuff is not to be ignored. Especially on heavy weapons the recoil with TS can be so bad that your overall dps is substantially lower because of missed shots.
2. Even if both projectiles hit it’s only a 25% damage increase…you can do a lot better with other mods
Two shit mini gun with explosives smacks.

You like seeing people upset? Wierd. Maybe see a psychiatrist.
Two shot projectiles both do the same damage.both are reduced so the total is 125%. It isn't one full damage shot and one quarter damage shot

Quad railway is super fun
@@ItzTermx it definitely is! I’m also considering heavy gunner/PA. But another reason why this video was so good is because I’m mostly the research type, and I have a friend and my wife playing too and they just wing it lol. I’ll prob eventually try them all as that’s how I keep engaged with games, but I’ll still with these 2 until I get some legendary cards up in levels.
Be careful if you ever get a two shot explosive V.A.T.S. optimized combat shotgun, you won't be able to find enough limbs to sate its appetite to cripple
my two shot tesla with limb damage thinks everyone needs to just take a break and laydown and figure out what anything is
After 5 years, as near as I can tell, Bloodied was your only (just my personal opinion) mistake. Like I said, it's just my personal choice. But this is also a list for new players. So, a bloody build would be a bit tougher until at least level 50 when you are max gear level.
That's 100% fair lol, people are not happy with me in the comments lol
@ItzTermx Can't please them all, lol. Looking forward to your 2 and 3 star reviews. Will you also be doing armors as well?

It's a glass cannon
High risk, High reward
Except this game has less risk than other games with glass cannon builds
Sometimes you gotta be thankful for them tho 😭 they save lives unexpectedly

I’d put bloodied in S-Tier, it’s the goto for every low health build. Just like anti-armor for full health builds.
It’s better than two-shot and instigating and miles ahead of everything in A tier.
I wouldnt say its the go to for low health as much as its the only option and only reason to use a low health build
That's facts, I was going to go over attachments like that in another video.
Junkies used to be good. It's basically trash now

@@MrSirMang problem is I am never near the limit for caps, If I see a vendor with a shit ton of 3 stars for under 1000 I am taking the entire stock! I don't use chems so I will always keep the 50% damage up at all times

So my 3star anti-armor broadsider is good? They explode for damage and it has the 15% reload speed.
That one seemed like a waste, but then again it was always on something like a gatling laser 😂
Im sure its good with single shot weapons and such
Edit: oh, you explained it perfectly.
Vampiric is absolutely busted on any Very fast melee weapon
you are immortal as long as you have AP and ur weapon is not broken
i was fighting a blue devil that was level 75 while i was level 29 with a vampiric drill, it did almost 1/5th of my health per hit while i was wearing full power armor and i managed to get it to half hp...
then the drill broke
I have a vampire chainsaw - awesome on bosses - I can just stand and 'tank' ..
@ItzTermx slight correction, DB shotguns cannot actually roll quad anymore with the only exception being cold shoulder.
appreciate you
I think the depends category is awful, you could hypothetically put every legendary effect on in the depends category.
Are you counting builds with the perk or just the perk in general?
Just perk
I use the instigating one on a musket and yeez it deals a metric duckton of damage were talking around 1400 dmg (with 2,3 or 2,5x sneak damage)
wait hold on im a bit confused, does two shot double & add 25% damage or does it increase the total damage by 25% and divide it in two shot
Bloodied on A tier is crazy! Easy S tier
I like to use instigating +50% limb damage fixer (head counts as limb) in stealth commando or quad railway rifle for not so subtle approach
The bonus limb damage only works on the limb health (the little bar you see in vats), not the overall health.
Medics buff was huge...great at healing friendly NPCs.
Medics is for keeping npcs alive in quests
Instigating is also great for grenades
You're doing one of these videos for the armor legendary effects right? 😃
hmmm
I never understand Bethesda creativity of pigeonholing legendary affix on weapon into just more damage modifier.
Why not rework to make weapons in this game more interesting ex:
Mutant: if you are mutated, has chance to poison your enemies based on how many mutation u have.
I'm not sure where it's at on the list yet but I saw the
"You gain more damage the more hits on the same target"
On a flamer i got and just that perk, no build around it at all was melting most level 75-100 enemies more than my other guns

Great video 🙌🏽 thank you 🙏🏽! Looking forward to tier 2 and 3 perks

Very much enjoyed this.
I think medics works best with shotguns. I have a medics laser rifle and I added a splitter and I think it does 25% health because of the five beams.
How are you running and jumping so fast and high? Is that a perk card thing or armor perk thing?
Mutations
I needa build video showing off best builds possibly rifles and heavy maybe shotguns
I think the Medic perk should increase healing from 5% up to between 15% and 27%. I enjoy healing in many co-op games.
Agreed, kinda weird they never buffed it
I personally hated bloodied build untill I played with it. It feels like hardcore mode for fallout 76. You die faster, you kill faster. If played correctly it is fun
If I remember correctly, hunters also applies to scorch beast queen
I gots a quad broadsider with bonus limb and armor damage
bonus limb only effects the crippling bar not the mobs actual health bar. That said broadsider is a fun gun to play around with
Not a great gun but with the effects could be really fun to play with
Two shot only gives %25 bonus damage and less accurate hits.
Does two shot shoot another shotgun shell, or just one more pellet?
Two shot cant roll on them
It just adds 1 more pellet.
@@ItzTermx Yes they can. the only ranged weapons that can't get 2 shot are bows, compound bows, x-bows and the thirst zapper.
bloodies a tier? you also shoulld account for unyielding combo bro
Would like to say that not all guns can get quad! Missile launcher, fat man, gatling laser/plas, Agl all can't (and a few more)
How does 2 shot work? Because ive been running 2 shot guns since i restarted the game, and when getting guns without two shot, i noti ed the damage equates ti the same amount, or like a 3point damage difference. I had a magnum that did 134 damage, and a twk mahnum that just did 67x2. Both were the same pevel and everything. I had a couple guns like this. So it turned me off to two shot. Am i missing something?
So two shot on everything except missile launchers, grande launchers and fatman just gives double gun breakage less accuracy and I believe range and only 25% more damage so pretty trash
Yeah, two-shot was nerfed hard. @termx got that one wrong.
Yeah was thinking the same thing. I also obly use two shot my explosive builds, and even then i do noticed that i dont do much more damage, vht do cover a higher area@@PROCHIMNEY
As a melee chainsaw user a vampire mod is amazing.
I feel like a lot of the depends should be F, Like for instants the ghoul slayer I think is just a troll perk because why do more dmg to something that can already almost be one shot.
That's a valid opinion, I just didn't want to tell new players all of them are COMPLETELY USELESS
Great vid! More talking about tier 2 and 3 perks
Slight critique if you're comparing apples to apples you don't need the depends category just do the usual b or c. Keep it simple.
For the bloodied one this means 106 * (0.01(0.99[106*0.15 over 118]^0.365)) -> 106 * 0.0047 which is 0.50 meaning it deals 50 Damage.
For the AA one this means 40 * (0.01(0.99[40*0.15 over 59]^0.365)) -> 40 * 0.00429 which is 0.17 meaning it deals 17 damage.
@@Nemissis4265 If you are getting killed its more a skill thing than an issue with bloodied.
+ vamp on a pepper shaker is nuts
Gotta do a 2 star and 3 star video! Love the content
I'll add it to the list :)
I got a quad railway rifle and slapped the automatic trigger on it and god damn that recoil
its a vats only gun
I love Bloodied it is so damm op you are so tanky and deal so much damage
Tried doing the encrypted event yesterday with my friends but we could not do it it was too hard for us
Gonna run anti armor weapons for that, have someone on ads the whole time. And a fast player looping the sheepsqatch
Anti armour or troubleshooters tbh @@ItzTermx
@@420spoods i dont think you have the best guns and armor in the game because i can tank hits from it and i do a decent amount of damage to it.
Nice video. I cant find perk for modding weapons over lvl 2. Only find it for energy weapons. What Im doing wrong? Thx :-)
Gunsmith in intelligence
Thx. Wrong perk Description only about Building weapons.
Get rid of depends category. Everything in like can fall into depends. Thats a cop out
i dont understand instigating, its only sole purpose is to do more damage on the first shot and i can see it in explosives but once something takes damage and its not full health its pointless
I understood the placement of bloodied up until you put instigating in S tier lol.
Instigating is awesome but bloodied is literally instigating but all the time 😀 minus 5-15 bonus dmg
Recently got a ap hit mans flamer and it’s fucking insane 140 on scorch queen blew my mind
Heres a fun idea: ranking fallout 4 legendary / unique effects if they were in 76
I got a quad bloodied explosive shotgun and it's been my go to on my first account
Wait quad and bloodied aren't the same * spot? That's awesome I've been stopping at bloodied thinking bah I'm never gonna get a quad bloodied anything because they are the same *. Thanks for that revelation - it alone was worth reading the comments!
@@genghisken0181they are in the same. It’s not possible to get both. They are both prefixes
good story but that isn't a weapon roll that can exist in fallout 76
my guy you definitely need a B tier at least, maybe a C too. Also humans, animals, insects, etc... it doesn't depend - these enemies are all so weak those effects are F tier. The depends tier isn't a great idea. love the content though, it's a fresh view for lots of new players!
I actually recorded this with a B and D tier but i didn't want to confuse new people haha. Still appreciate the love.
Explosive Rounds/Vampire on a shotgun restores 32% of your health bar per shot.
faction specific is not useless but greatly reduced against non faction targets. Let's be clear on this one. You imply it is an all or nothing choice. Is that really true?
As a bloody build, I can tell you looks can be deceiving. You may think we only have ten to twenty percent health but in reality it's 5 to 6 times more than full health bars.
Good lie buddy, keep telling yourself that
My damage reduction is 90% and when I’m done my build it’ll be 95%, bloodied doesn’t have more health but I haven’t died in a week of playing so just remember it’s not bloodied being bad it’s just you not being set up to handle bloodied builds.
Junkie fixer is so fun, got me feeling like an addict from new vegas
heres a suggestion auto railway rifle vats and quad your welcome
Great guide however one issue with the junkies prefix is it doesnt work when you are sated/high on drugs or alcohol only when withdrawn, so if you have one preferred chem get an addiction to five others as well to use junkies with your preferred chem.
Executioners is good for pvp specially against bloodied builds
Bloodied is S, it’s not that hard to become indestructible at 20% health especially with power armor. Without it u can still run unyielding which is goated
Please do make a video for the other stars
Great video as always
W foundry
Bloody > all. Point blank. Period. Full stop.
My Gatling laser has two shot on it can someone please tell me why it halfed the damage and applied it twice I’m desperate
@@flynnlang1462 thank you for the reply
bloodie in a tier is crazy
