Seeing how you created the vocoder effect and applied the track like a filter was a lesson within itself! Awesome job! I will rewatch the video to make sure I got that part down!
very good tutorial bro. I don't know how I stumbled upon your video nor do I use logic but you make it very accessible for people that are new to production.
there is difference between being interested in something and being serious about learning how to make it everybody interested in music but not anyone can make it or ready to learn it.
Bro, I dont know anything about this application, but bloody hell, you look like you know every single feature in every single option and what all of them do, and what to use when. Subscribed, Thumbed Up
I forgot how dope it is to have an instrumental come to life. I used to remake beats for fun using FL. This makes me want dig it out of storage and get back at it.
Downloading your logic files and having a visual idea of how the sounds are layered and then recreating the songs myself has helped me improve so much on logic in such a short time, keep doing this! it's really really helpful. Bless
oh my god I've been trying to do a cover of this and you literally did exactly what I wanted to do but i didn't know what to do holy f what is this world this channels is amazing i can't handle this you're amazing thank you
at 7:04 you mentioned an 808 you always use, you said you'd put a link towards the tutorial you have on how to make that sound? I can't seem to find it when I looked on your channel! Please may you point it out?
He makes this look easy when in reality it’s extremely difficult, imagine daft punk and the weeknd creating this beat by scratch, nothing to copy from, nothing to follow to create this beat, just pure creativity.
For anyone that isn't able to find the "Aether Choir" preset in the Alchemy plugin, you need to download the "Basic Additions" by going to the Sound Library Manager and inside Alchemy you'll find the Basic Additions. It's a 9GB pack, so it might take a while, but you'll need it to make this beat.
You forgot the bassline, the kick, the chime counter melody on the second half, and the string synth. I've finished making it in Ableton following this tut and spent a couple more days listening and recreating it. I put the original in a channel to compare and it's missing those and also the kick has 3 different patterns, one for the verses one for the first half of the chorus and a 3rd on the second half of the chorus. The percussion is also off, otherwise pretty cool, thx, helped me get what I wanted.
I would recommend detuning the piano with the pitch shifter about 10 cents, and the add some space designer on a medium level to the piano. I would also recommend using the bitcrusher on the kick.
Stop it. You making this look so easy and it sounds amazing. I spend hours working on a song and it ends up sounding like someone put dog-shit in the blender and then fed it to the dog and then put the dog in the blender. Looking forward to learning more through your videos.
I remade an plugged version of Starboy and also used the stems on a mashup. Its currently sat at the bottom of the pile with 150 views. I can post links if thats cool with you Adam? This process brought back memorys :)
thank you! such a step by step walk through the different tracks, the selection of patches and parameters has been very helpful! please make more such videos!
Ur fucking my life up with how quickly you arranged this at the end, ur method of stacking all ur sounds 1st is brilliant on top of that being off the top of your head. Fuck!
Man this is really pretty cool. It seems to be easy but is not. I wish I could do something like that. The way I love music i would spend all day playing lol
Everyday a nigga tryna test me ah

I have no idea how this stuff/music works but it's fascinating watching you create results from scratch.

Seeing how you created the vocoder effect and applied the track like a filter was a lesson within itself! Awesome job!

YOU MAKE THIS LOOK LIKE ANYONE COULD DO IT...IT'S ACTUALLY SO HARD FOR US
thank you. I try my best. Practice makes perfect. I'm always playing around with Logic. It's my DAW of choice.
imamusicmogul how did you put these extensions like the thing in the right corner??
Peachy_ Peng those are called loops and plug ins. Lol, basic music production and this is like an algebra equation.
@@denniskim9498 dont downtalk the process. Composition and accurate recreation are both super hard

This is music school proper.
let's go ahead and quantize that
Nice vid! What about the 808 change when he says "I'm a star boy"??? Best part of the song!
That's just a heavily processed 808 kick layered with the current beat.
I think he means how the 808 changes notes, because it does on that part
Yeah the notes change. Totally hypes it up.
lol true
Look what you've done... You've made me your fan instantly.
i watched this about 14 times and that is incredible, love it I am still amazed !! great stuff....
+Juan Rosario Jr thank you 🙌
You're fucking talented
Ellie J4ne peep my channel
Nice work on this one man, good remake
I forgot how dope it is to have an instrumental come to life. I used to remake beats for fun using FL. This makes me want dig it out of storage and get back at it.
This shows just how easy it is to make a beat with some knowledge about a production software and some basic theory. Good video man
Love the term 'ear candy'! Describes exactly how I feel about this lovely musical tidbit :)
Literally got goosebumps when I heard the weird "Ah" turn into that legendary voice
"congo or bonga" im ded.
lol
When he added the piano, I was shocked; but what he's done AFTER, absolutely AMAZING lol
This is an amazing remake, and the fact that you only used stock plugins makes it that much better!!
Downloading your logic files and having a visual idea of how the sounds are layered and then recreating the songs myself has helped me improve so much on logic in such a short time, keep doing this! it's really really helpful. Bless

I literally know nothing about making music but this was awesome! Very good job :)
Wow! How are you able to hear and spot every sound in a song? You make it look too easy! I use Cubase but the complexity is killing me.
Great vid man! Earned yourself a subscriber

Did you take classes to learn all this?
He makes this look easy when in reality it’s extremely difficult, imagine daft punk and the weeknd creating this beat by scratch, nothing to copy from, nothing to follow to create this beat, just pure creativity.
Love your channel man! And love the fact that you only use Logic sounds!
Very Nice I love it !!!! I always wondered how it was made...
The amount of times you rely on quantizing it is spectacular
Still a great video though
There's a beat from kid cudis "Journey of Mr. rager" starts at 11:24, do you think you could possibly recreate that beat?
When you added the piano chords......FIRE!!!

Loved learning about the vocoder, this was awesome and simple to follow!
Lots of quantize
well no, it's a useful tool but he used it a lot in this vid.
its Daft Punk dude...
I would recommend detuning the piano with the pitch shifter about 10 cents, and the add some space designer on a medium level to the piano. I would also recommend using the bitcrusher on the kick.
You the real og!!! You're gonna make me a star one day and I'll remember you!!!!!
wow, so nice to see the progress of the making of the song
You should remake a Bones beat. I'm REALLY interested in seeing what type of vst's or instruments they use to make all of those unique sounds.
Awesome tutorial only thing forgotten is the kick on the 3 and the drawn out low synth for the chorus. subbed!!!
At 1:40 it sounds like the COD hit marker😂😂
Has he ever thought about how often he uses logic software, but hasn't made a single Logic beat remake?
Anthony Fantano makes great music ong

Hey man, I am new to Logic Pro, on the Boutique 909, I can't find that hi hat you are using. What are you pressing to get that specific sound?
Just press through all the samples included in the drum kit. You are bound to find it.
