I've used it on multiple Nubuck pairs with no issues, but that's a good point especially about true suede. That's why Jason Markk makes the softer premium brush.
They're called the Sixty Plus (sometimes spelled 60+). It's a hybrid sneaker released by Jordan in 2009. The shoe combines parts of the Air Jordan I, II, V, and VII, because those are all pairs MJ was wearing when he scored 60 or more points in a game.
I'm not sure I completely know what you mean? This wasn't scripted or anything and I was just speaking off the cuff, so it's a little bit stream-of-consciousness. Is there a specific part you're talking about?
I would be pretty wary of using any brush at all on Foams. I haven't actually tried and I don't plan to, but I feel like there's a good chance that any brush could leave scratches in the material. The Foamposite material is easy to wipe down with some warm soapy water just to keep it clean. If you have scuffs that stick around even after that use hand sanitizer to remove them. I made a video about that if you want to check it out.
I've done that and it helps get the fairly white parts more white, but the parts that are dirtier don't really get any better. I guess something is better than nothing.
White mesh like on the 5 side panel and tongue etc, after its yellowed, toothpaste also works VERY well to bring the mesh back to white, and also yellowed soles, just like seaglow etc.. Brush it on, leave it for a few good hours when there is decent UV and makes sure it's cleaned off properly and you will be very surprised how well it whitens yellow up.. Good product and vid btw!
I've never heard of using toothpaste to fix yellowing soles before, but I'll have to try that out! Is there a specific type or brand of toothpaste that works best?
I mean it definitely won't hurt anything, but it won't do a whole lot. I'm in the same boat. It's kinda like the clear mesh and outsoles on 5's. Once it yellows it's gonna stay yellow
Well yeah I know haha, I'm just thinking for some special cases. Like my Sixty Plus's have white laces with a cool metal tip that has the Jumpman, which you can't replace. It can also be tough to find the right size of laces. Most places only sell up to 54", but a lot of high tops have at least 60". I've found a few places that sell 'em, but it can be a pain.
did you use the standard brush on the Oreo 6's nubuck area? and id so anything went wrong ? & for getting white shoelaces clean search this on the youtube search bar : How To Make Shoe Laces White/ Get Rid Of Stains Tutorial!
I got my kit today and was kind of disappointed. It didn't really work as I thought it would. Do you have any tips on how you think I can use it better?
I was trying to clean off my Griffeys. They are a little dirty on the white part that is closest to the bubble. Idk what that part is called. The dirt isn't seeming to come off.
i have this product and its very good! but what it does not say in this video is that the kit actually has 2 different brushes. one for fabric and the other for harder materials like rubber or the leather like this shoe.
Haven't had issues with leather, but I would be careful on other materials like suede. They make a softer brush that is intended for more sensitive materials.
I would be a little careful. It PROBABLY wouldn't scratch the carbon fiber, but at the same time it definitely could. There is no reason to use the brush on the smooth carbon fiber. Just wipe that off with a damp cloth, and then use the Jason Markk with the brush on the rest of the shoe. Hope this helps!
Haha creases have nothing to do with being dirty. Shoes like this and AF1's, with big leather toe box areas, are prone to crease. This pair was creased within a week or two of when I purchased them. They got dirty because I wore them a lot. They were one of the first pairs in my collection, so I didn't have a ton of options at the time. It's not that I wasn't taking good care of them, it's that I was enjoying them :)
I've tried that with limited to decent success. I guess naive me was hoping for some magic way to make them bright white again, and I have yet to find that.
Unfortunately Jason Markk Cleaner is probably not going to cut it against gum, but I can honestly say I have never tried it. I would recommend searching online for ways to remove gum from fabric.
I doubt this will work on a sharpie mark, but I have never tried. Is it "regular" leather, or patent leather? If it is just normal leather, there is not much you can do to get rid of the Sharpie that will not also damage the shoe.
Gotcha. I mean there are definitely things you can try, but there is a very good chance you could only make the problem worse. If it not that big, you might want to just leave it.
the reason i ask is because i seen a site where they had an before and after, i'll show u a link...but before i order that product i just wanted to know...but check out this link...myemail.constantcontact.com/10--OFF-All-Sneakers---Jason-Markk-Shoe-Cleaner---Sneaker-Keychains.html?soid=1109406199714&aid=z3bDVMgpz0M
Haha I don't know when my friend will have a chance to get it to me, but as soon as I can I definitely will! Make sure you're subscribed so you see it when I put it up.
Guys its simple to clean white laces, just fill up your sink with hot water, scrub the laces against each other with shampoo, leave it in the hot water for 3 minutes, grab them and rub them against each other again but with baking soda, make sure you scrub them until it goes away
Try using Dawn dish detergent that seems to work for me or soak laces with warm water and a little bleach and let them sit for a minute or two not too long though the bleach will start to eat your laces
Mesh is inherently harder to clean, but it should at least help get them cleaner. You'll want to be careful when scrubbing, however, so the brush doesn't tear into the fabric.
laces are really easy to clean! only white one tho, just get a disposable bowl like the one in the video, and fill it almost all the way up with hot water add a splash of bleach , 3 squirts of hand soap or dish shoap and rub them together. i would recommend using gloves or something to poke at it with lol it takes like 2 minutes and leaves white as hell!!! just remeber to rinse them off after so any left over bleach is gone , and let them dry abd yoyure good!
Lol at people who think they know Jordan's because they know all the retros. This is a pair called the Sixty Plus. It's a hybrid of all the shoes MJ scored 60 or more points in. They were released in 2009.
If you didn't find out how to clean them yet, or just as a helpful thing to know, you can clean the laces when you wash your clothes in the washing machine. You can just pop them laces with your clothes.
Haha you sure can but it doesn't do anything. Once the soles have yellowed the only real way I've ever heard of to fix them is by using seaglow. I will hopefully have a chance to do my own test of seaglow and post a video here in the next month because I've never actually used it before.
It's the Air Jordan Sixty Plus. It's a hybrid shoe that takes elements from each pair of shoes Michael Jordan wore in games where he scored 60 or more points. The shoes combined are the Air Jordan I, II, V, and VII.
put the laces into a bottle of water with some oxyclean or detergent and just shake it. after that I just rinse them off with water but sometimes if they're still a bit dirty just rub them in your hands with soap and water.
Ah okay. I think you're talking about the 'Silver Camo' pair. Those are graphic Foams, because they have that pattern on the top that gives it the slightly camo look. There is probably nothing you can do to make those shinier, unless they are dirty and you can wipe them down with a damp cloth to get them looking new again. Unfortunately there's no good way that I know of to "add" shine to the shoe
To make them white put them in a closed container with water and oxi clean versatile stain remover and shake for about 1-5 minutes after that take them out and air dry.
a way to clean white shoe laces is to put your laces a bowl or something and put bleach in the bowl and just let the laces sit there for at least some hours and then pour out the bleach carefully
well yeah but what I usually do is like you said but get a bowl that I never use (paper bowl) or something then get warm/hot water pour bleach let sit while I stir them around then after there done wash them with soapy water then boom white laces
all u have to do to clean ur laces is throw them in the washer i do it all the time and their fine i did to my lebron 10 volts just try that i guarente it will work with no damage to the shoe laces
Put your laces in a small cup with small amount of clorox. Make sure the water is hot. Let it sit for about 20 minutes. Than take the laces out and rinse them. Now just grab the first lace and put small amount of dish soap and wash the lace by rubbing your hands together than rinse off the soap. Repeat the process for the other lace... They come out looking like new
i ring mine out with a white towel. mine always come out cleaner. never brand new again. maybe ina load of white with bleach, after putting em in a cup. hope it works for yall🤷
No, you'll need to get something like Sea Glow for that. Jason Markk is a cleaner, but yellowing soles aren't "dirty", it's just a chemical reaction that occurs over time.
A less than effective way to clean laces is to just get them in warm to fairly hot soapy water, and let them soak for as long as possible, overnight is enough but longer doesn't hurt a fly
+Ej Pulido this nigga dumb asf he tryna say 60 plus are jordans most popular shoes 😂😂😂 he clearly dont know shit about jordans . he think those are laney 5s lmao dumb ass
Get a water bottle fill a quarter with hot water spray a little bit of resolve spray and wash in bottle then put laces in bottle finally shake the bottle really hard with laces inside for 30 mins
I've used it on multiple Nubuck pairs with no issues, but that's a good point especially about true suede. That's why Jason Markk makes the softer premium brush.
Thanks man that helped a lot! I had one pair of laces that was too far gone, but then I had another pair that your process really helped with!
They're called the Sixty Plus (sometimes spelled 60+). It's a hybrid sneaker released by Jordan in 2009. The shoe combines parts of the Air Jordan I, II, V, and VII, because those are all pairs MJ was wearing when he scored 60 or more points in a game.
A couple of other people have suggested that, so I'm going to have to try it for sure. Thanks!
Yep I used the regular brush. The shoes are still in great shape. And thanks for the tip!
nice. planning to buy jason markk asap. hope it works on air max 1
It should definitely work! Good luck
thanks man. cheers
I'm not sure I completely know what you mean? This wasn't scripted or anything and I was just speaking off the cuff, so it's a little bit stream-of-consciousness. Is there a specific part you're talking about?
Haha I figured. I'll have to try that out. That's one of the few techniques I have yet to try.
That sounds like a great idea! I'll be trying that for sure.
I would be pretty wary of using any brush at all on Foams. I haven't actually tried and I don't plan to, but I feel like there's a good chance that any brush could leave scratches in the material. I've tried bleaching them but haven't had much success. My laces were pretty bad though.
I've done that and it helps get the fairly white parts more white, but the parts that are dirtier don't really get any better. I guess something is better than nothing.

Dude tf I literally have that same exact toothbrush and use it for the same exact thing omg
I mean it definitely won't hurt anything, but it won't do a whole lot. I'm in the same boat. It's kinda like the clear mesh and outsoles on 5's. Once it yellows it's gonna stay yellow

My friend picked some up not too long ago, and swears by the stuff haha. Pretty soon here I'm going to try to borrow some to see how it works
Will this method work on nubuk if the dirts been there for a long time
Say I used this on the south beach 9's, would it scratch the carbon fiber?
I've tried the pure bleach, but haven't tried the washer yet. Thanks!
did you use the standard brush on the Oreo 6's nubuck area? and id so anything went wrong ?
& for getting white shoelaces clean search this on the youtube search bar : How To Make Shoe Laces White/ Get Rid Of Stains Tutorial!
Does Jason Markk cleaner do anything about gum on the sides of fabric shoes (flyknit)?
Is it okay if I didn't take off the laces? I'm not too worried about them
kat urday yep, totally your call
Also, should it be warm water?
yep!
Okay awesome thanks so much :)
Nice! I've watched stuff from his channel before, but I've never seen that video.
Will it work on kd7 calm before the storm? Materials on the shoe have me undecided to use the cleaner on it.
Yep, that'll be fine
I got my kit today and was kind of disappointed. It didn't really work as I thought it would. Do you have any tips on how you think I can use it better?
That depends. What exactly were your problems?
I was trying to clean off my Griffeys. They are a little dirty on the white part that is closest to the bubble. Idk what that part is called. The dirt isn't seeming to come off.
It's kind of like the same material that is on the front of the shoe in this video.
That midsole area is generally a little tougher to clean. What works well is a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser for that section
Can you use the brush more than once? If so, how to you prepare it to be used again. I just ordered a kit today.
Yep. All I do is rinse it off, and let it out to dry before putting it back in my sneaker repair kit. It'll last you awhile.
Alright thanks a lot man. Can't wait for mines to come in the mail.
I never go far without my kit!
Does Jason markk work on mesh for Concords if they are very dirty??
Lilgrimlinbeats It'll definitely help some, but white mesh can be tough to clean fully, depending on what you did to them
i have this product and its very good! but what it does not say in this video is that the kit actually has 2 different brushes. one for fabric and the other for harder materials like rubber or the leather like this shoe.
Actually, the pack that I got only came with the brush shown here
those are Jordan 60 plus shoes if yall didnt know. get your knowledge right. do you find that the brush scratches the leather?
Haven't had issues with leather, but I would be careful on other materials like suede. They make a softer brush that is intended for more sensitive materials.
I'll consider it if I have a chance, but I did some looking online and I've seen a lot of very negative reviews. For $40 that's kind of concerning.
You should do where u do soap and water vs Jason markk (or other shoe cleaning product)
Haha creases have nothing to do with being dirty. Shoes like this and AF1's, with big leather toe box areas, are prone to crease. This pair was creased within a week or two of when I purchased them. does this work on all material?
+Brandon Vasquez yep!
Can I clean the webbing par of my cement fours with these ? They're kind of yellow
I've tried that, but haven't really had any luck
I tried that actually and it made a little difference, but not much.
Thanks man! I'll have to try that.
Ar u going to make a video with the shoemgk it will be great!!!
I've tried that with limited to decent success. I guess naive me was hoping for some magic way to make them bright white again, and I have yet to find that.
Any tips on how to get out ink that leaked (from trying to bleach mesh) from mesh on concord 11s?
I've never had to do that, so I don't really know of any good way
Haha no problem. Thanks for watching!
Unfortunately Jason Markk Cleaner is probably not going to cut it against gum, but I can honestly say I have never tried it. I would recommend searching online for ways to remove gum from fabric.
i have a sharpie mark on my Griffey, on the leather part and not on the Nubuck, you think it can clean the black sharpie mark out?
I doubt this will work on a sharpie mark, but I have never tried. Is it "regular" leather, or patent leather? If it is just normal leather, there is not much you can do to get rid of the Sharpie that will not also damage the shoe.
Ok thanks
It's regular leather by the way, the white area on the Griffey Max 1 Freshwater
Gotcha. I mean there are definitely things you can try, but there is a very good chance you could only make the problem worse. If it not that big, you might want to just leave it.

Hey you shoul try refreshed shoe cleaner in my opinion it better try it and make a video
I've tried that, but haven't had much luck
will they work on my kobe 9 beethovens?
maxgozon yep it'll work fine.
Thanks! I've tried both of those. They may just be too far gone haha
If you didn't find out how to clean them yet, or just as a helpful thing to know, you can clean the laces when you wash your clothes in the washing machine. You can just pop them laces with your clothes.
Would these work on like huaraches and superstar soles? And also huaraches mesh?
Yes.
Yes
I might need tot try that. Thanks
Is it safe on suede?
+Lucas Houk yep, it's safe for all material.s
Damn. wasnt expecting that. Good shit bruh.
Haha you sure can but it doesn't do anything. Once the soles have yellowed the only real way I've ever heard of to fix them is by using seaglow. I will hopefully have a chance to do my own test of seaglow and post a video here in the next month because I've never actually used it before.

do u got any tips on how to make your foamposite's shine
Are you talking about Foamposites that used to be shiny and are now dirty, or Foamposites that were never very shiny to begin with?
Rees Klintworth never very shiny to begin with
What shoe are you referring to? In some shoes, like certain LeBron 11's, for example, the Foamposite material was given more of a matte look.
Rees Klintworth there foamposites with a metallic looking silver base with a lime/green bottom. basically all silver with a lime/green sole
Ah okay. I think you're talking about the 'Silver Camo' pair. Those are graphic Foams, because they have that pattern on the top that gives it the slightly camo look. I've tried that before, so I'm guessing my laces are just too far gone at this point. Thanks for the suggestion though!
Thank for this video man
No problem. Thanks for watching!
Good idea! Thank you.
That was one of the very first things I tried and it didn't really do anything

There comes a time where you just have to replace them bruh
Haha yep. I was hoping that maybe someone out there knew some secret trick, but I've learned that those particular laces are just gone
i ring mine out with a white towel. mine always come out cleaner. never brand new again. maybe ina load of white with bleach, after putting em in a cup. hope it works for yall🤷
will this clean yellowing icy soles
No, you'll need to get something like Sea Glow for that. Jason Markk is a cleaner, but yellowing soles aren't "dirty", it's just a chemical reaction that occurs over time.
What do you mean?
Use dawn dish soap and water and soak ur laces for a lil bit and the scrub laces together and then let it dry that will clean ur laces
Cool. Thanks for the tip!
Those are the Jordan Sixty Plus
Cool thanks!
A less than effective way to clean laces is to just get them in warm to fairly hot soapy water, and let them soak for as long as possible, overnight is enough but longer doesn't hurt a fly
the sole lookes like jordan 5s but the leather looks like 2s
whaaat are thoseee !?!?! 😂😂😂
+UTTP Officer Skehers Suck hahahahahaha someone doesn't know how to take a joke.
+Ej Pulido this nigga dumb asf he tryna say 60 plus are jordans most popular shoes 😂😂😂 he clearly dont know shit about jordans . he think those are laney 5s lmao dumb ass
+Dan white to they are not even 5s u fuckin idiot LOL
***** You forgot to put a period at the end of the sentence, dumb ass.
ahah
You could also put socks in the toe area and you see the creases better
Cool! Thanks!
to clean the laces put some solution in the water and dip the laces in the solution and rub them between your hands.
Thanks man!
Get the reshoevn8r kit just as effective as Jason markk but cheaper and does a little bit more than Jason markk
Get a water bottle fill a quarter with hot water spray a little bit of resolve spray and wash in bottle then put laces in bottle finally shake the bottle really hard with laces inside for 30 mins
On kd 6s too? 👀
Yeah this is safe for all sneakers/materials
U can use acetone on the part u used tooth paste. It cleans it's much better
Use refreshed Shoe cleaner you will be able to clean both the shoe and laces.
I've tried both of those unfortunately. Thanks though
Just btw your jordans should not be dirty enough to have creases that means you are not taking good care of them
