Awesome build and great video! When you say virtually any mod makes the bike closed course use only, what do you mean other than de smog, ecu, and pipe. I don't live in Cali I'm up in Canada but it seems you could do any of the other hop ups and still be legal. Altho the ecu and pipe are the real game changers on these bikes.
Hey Donnie I noticed your pegs are slightly wider. What brand are those as I've got a pretty big flipper and have been exploring my options. cheers mate
@@Broadus45 I've ridden the S model with the same specs, suspension, euro ECU, plated and all on DOT tires - just as fast and capable as my 450 SXF - and I've done multiple 5 day trips across California highways and back-country.
What’s the DB rating with that exhaust setup the way it is, w/out the quiet insert, but with the mega bomb. What’s the real world DB test come out at? Sounds like there’s no way it’s under 98.
That bike has such a wonderful sound, on its own, it doesn't need to be propt up by any music at all
Beautiful build and that suspension looks really dialled.
Great work my friend. Looks amazing.
Well done man ! Awesome bike I’m looking at getting the 501 right now done up much like yours but keep a plate on it .
Loved the video. Great build!
I love mine. Did you opt for the ecm flash or go with the JD tuner pack due to the pipe change? I have a 2019 FE 501. Not the “S”
I just bought a 21' and LOVE IT!! I can't seem to find the Pro Taper "rally" bars you added to your bike. Any suggestions? Thanks!
"When you're forty, you've really gotta look good." Mid life crisis anyone?

which seat concept seat is this?
What on it makes it California non compliant?

Cool bike, but this isn't really a dual-sport. It is a hi-spec trail/enduro bike.
"Dual Sport" click bait. Beautiful bike but no tail light/signals/mirrors, non DOT tires.
@@mikeisland7382 Agreed

Can easily remove turn signals and the mirrors in 5 minutes.
It comes from the factory as a dual sport so it is In fact a dual sport
When you're 40 you have to look good. Don't worry you'll grow up and just start enjoying the ride over the next decade 😂.
When your in the scene you gotta rep to keep haha

tacomoto measured the fmf 4.1 at 88db, can't confirm if that is with or without the megabomb.
So it's a dual sport but you can't ride it on the street? So what is dual sport about it?
Bike looks awesome but it doesn’t look like it’s light on its feet
What is the WP cartridge conversion about?
The inside of the fork suspension are changed for a better one, around $1300
I'm so glad my nickname isn't little d...
Americans can't seem to say 'Husqvarna'. Hint, not a triple A thing going on there.
dudes gotta have a GET ecu in that thing! @DirtbikeMagazine any info on that?
