Wow, beautifully played and loved just watching this video - watching a performer feeling the music they are playing can bring so much more to the music itself. So glad I found this!
How am I just seeing this now? One of my all time favs, and this is the best that I’ve EVER listened to. Now, how to get someone to play it just like this for my wedding when I walk down the aisle. Tremendously beautiful. I can’t stop listening to this without tearing up.
Such a beautiful arrangement of the "wedding" scene duet from West Side Story. This is an expressive and soaring violin performance. With its poignant and heart-felt lyrics and its reverently emotional melody, this Bernstein/Sondheim song should have become a standard, being played at weddings and anniversaries. Thank you for sharing your exceptional talent!
Oh, Holy crap, that melody is simply unearthly. It shows that fine, classical music is not confined to the 17th, 18th and 19th centuries. The 20th is replete with outstanding pieces such as this one.
Too bad it's such a sappy song. In fact, the entire musical, West Side Story, is a sappy mess. I saw it at the Lyric Opera in Chicago and it put me to sleep. When this ridiculous song was sung, I was dreaming of my cat, who is a love bug. For a week afterward, I was singing "One paw, one heart." I must say, however, that if you strip the piece of the silly lyrics, give the melody to the violins instead of bad singers typical of Broadway and unworthy of a world-class opera house, it's a right pretty piece.
Never heard anything more beautiful than this
I am now in love with this

Bravo. Beautiful and beautifully done.
This is what I call a miracle
Thank you so much for sharing this with us. The feeling I received when listening to this was peaceful and happy.
You're welcome Klinton! I'm glad you felt that way...that's why I do this :)
Couldn't have asked for a better performance all around - Thanks to all the players, Rob and Aaron!
Turned out great! Way to go Gabe!
I just don't know how you do it. So many beautiful videos and you play without any music. You play from the heart!

Couldn't disagree more. The "improvisations" lost the sentiment. Like a dying swan telling jokes!
Beautiful music!
So amazing! Thanks, Rob!
Also, my orchestra teacher is in this, she's one of the violinists :)
That's awesome Ben! Thanks man!

Who is the arranger of this version? How can I get this awesome arrangement?
Thanks in advance
My 3-year old's reaction: Do that one again!
Yes!!
Lady, your smart kid already has great taste in music. Do everything to nurture and encourage it!
Bloody awful "improvisations" spoil the original sentiment by adding "whinning" noises

Sniff...sniff. Hmmm... do I detect a cynic?
Beautiful!
I had no clue this was being filmed at my office. How did it sound playing in that area? It echoes really nice down stairs.
It sounded great down there! The acoustics made it feel like a concert hall.
