Amazing work Jan. One thing to note is that the Draco maneuvering thrusters have changed in both position and angle along capsule in regards from SpaceX's mockups to actual flying craft! Everything else is very impressive and well done! Inspired!
Thank you so much! :) I really appreciate the kind words and your insight about the Draco thrusters-you're absolutely right! Glad you found the video inspiring! Make sure to check out www.learnsolidworks.com/formula1 to get started with the first videos of my SOLIDWORKS Formula 1 course. 🏎😊 Cheers, Jan
Make sure to turn on your Realview Graphics. Go to the top menu bar > Click on View > Navigate to Display > Look for RealView Graphics in the dropdown menu. If your graphics card supports it, this option should be available. Simply click on it to enable. :)
If the spline handles are completely missing when clicking on the spline, they can be enabled by going to Tools > Options > System Options tab > Sketch > "Enable spline tangency and curvature handles"
Im trying to do the cut with surface @16:41 and it will not selected my surface through the revolve like yours, im not getting the blue line that paints out the surface
Thank you for reaching out. To select the surface for the cut at 16:41, please try accessing it through the "Surfaces Bodies" folder in the feature tree. Sometimes, directly selecting it from the revolve feature might not work as expected. If you're still encountering difficulties despite trying this method, please feel free to email your SOLIDWORKS file to info@learnsolidworks.com. I'd be happy to take a look and provide further assistance. Best regards, Jan
I'm facing a problem while creating both arcs when I coincide the center of these two arcs to the center of the vertical horizontal line it becomes a circle at 5:41. How can I get rid of this Sir? Please let me know. Thank you.
I'm not entirely sure what might be causing the problem-likely a local setting. However, you can try the following steps to resolve the issue: Delete Unwanted Relations: Look for any automatic relations (like tangents) that might have been added. Delete any that are causing the issue. Control Key Tip: Hold down the Control button while drawing the lines. This prevents SolidWorks from adding automatic relations.
Happy birthday, really enjoying this model. One thing, @ 1853 there is an extrude cut, on my model it doesnt actually cut anything away. Ive gone back over it but i cant find what ive done wrong, any ideas??
That's a good question! This is because the original surface was double-curved while we needed a single-curved surface. I forgot to mention this in the video.
Hello! So I try to make the edge tangent to the chain (minute 8:41) but for some reason it doesn't allow me to pick the existing relations, it just shows me the objects that I have picked. Does anybody know why does this happen?

Nice sir ❤❤❤❤❤❤
When I click on the spline at 21:33, it doesn't show the arrow of that spline. Do you know how I can show these arrows? Thank you.

Same for me.. what am I doing wrong
Right or wrong, i deleted the face and that kinda worked
@@sirclippliers make sure to check if your model is a Solid Body. If not, the Extruded Cut option will not work. Hope this helps! :)
grab cad link?
Why did you use loft command at 12:48 I did not understand could you explain to me

That's weird... I recommend to try to use the Selection Manager to select the right sketch. Hope this helps! :)
At 20:23 i am unable to hide just a single surface . entire thing is hiding can u plz help?
Make sure to select the surface in the Surface Bodies folder. This way you know for sure you're hiding the correct surface body :)
