I LOVED THIS VIDEO!!! thank you so much for making it. I just got accepted into Nursing school and start in August. This is a 3rd career switch for me and going back to school for the 2nd time at 33yrs old!! I'm so nervous and excited all at the same time. And your videos and IG have literally been answering all my questions and giving me so much knowledge to set myself up for success both while in school and once I get out. Thank you so much!

I actually thought it was Nurse Anesthesist that earn better in Nursing? Thanks for the information though. I am 17 years old and I recently started my ADN degree, I am glad that you did the 2+2 degree too. It’s easier knowing someone has done it too and I can do it❤️

A CRNA requires a doctoral level of education which is very competitive and demanding, only second to medical school. A medical degree is also a doctoral level of education; makes more sense to just go for anesthesiologist for the title and respect.

Just to kind of put a pin in one of your statements.. don’t always think that where u live they have to match the cost of living because i know for a fact it doesn’t work like that in ga and inflation is killing us down here where we can’t even afford cost of living increase

Will employers consider work as an NA "experience" when getting hired as a new-grad RN?

No, it really has no bearing at all. That’s just good for you to have.

At this point CRNA is a doctoral level of education which is no walk in the park. You may as well become an anesthesiologist and have the highest title and salary.

I'm a living testimony of Mrs Virginia , she has helped me achieve my dream of becoming a licensed nurse, i encourage those who find it difficult to pass the Nclex exams to work with her and thank me later.

Male nurses deserve more money (if that San Francisco study is accurate). The study is based on choices, not just the gender. Male nurses were paid more, because they took more shifts, staying longer, not taking days off, inclined to take leadership roles and education level. Seeing that 40% of all advanced nurses are male despite the fact they are the minority (13%), so it makes sense. I know very smart and capable female nurses that make more money than most too (boogie nurse 😉). It's just a statistician, its up to us as individuals, to make up our life, and our financial outcomes. ❤️
