Hey guys. Volusia county here. It’s a county in Florida. Not sure if anyone knows we exist but we are struggling here. 3 feet of standing water throughout many neighborhoods. Water hardly going down. Most homes in my neighborhood flooded. Can we get SOMEONE to give us any update about our area? Haven’t seen a single cop or search and rescue. I understand the hurricane hit the west but the east is STRUGGLING.

Anyone who deals with FEMA, please do something important for your fellow citizens. Video & record all interactions & all documents, & release these to the public. We need to know the truth. I am recently retired first responder with 40yrs of experience handling some of the most horrific incidents in tactical and rescue operations including the 9-11 Terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center in NYC. Governor DeSantis is by far one of the most competent leaders in Government we have. He would make a great President. Proud he’s my Governor.

We lost power in Gulf Breeze for 2 weeks after Ivan; Florida Power ran underground lines after that.
