Part two has locked me in a perpetual cycle of thinking

Like, bruv, as an avid reader/watcher/lover of Chainsaw Man, I HAVE ABSOLUTELY NO IDEA WTF HAPPENED IN THIS CHAPTER! I’ve finally fallen victim to the Reading Comprehension Devil and it does not feel good. At all!
I been feeling that way the last few lol
Lmao whenever I tell people about CSM I just tell them never to expect anything because it’s like a wild fireman's hose: you just got to grab on and pray to God it doesn't get into your eyes or your mouth
That happened to me awhile ago in Part 2, after Asa and Denji were separated, i have been lost.
I'm lost as to what is going on, who is the bad guy, what is happening with the devils, Denji's role, Asa's role, Nayuta's role, basically all of part 2 😂
And i'm getting a bit impatient, I feel like we aren't actually on the main plot yet, and i'm hoping all this confusing build up is worth it.

Watch and listen closely to people denji meets If they say anything father like stuff to denji then they may be his dad also Denji don’t know what his father actual look like every since he hide his memories of him therefore anyone can be denji dad and no choice but to accept it which Fucking sad😢

For a minute at the end I thought somehow Aki came back from the dead.
I Still believe that Yoshida is Shady and is playing both sides. For what end idk but I recall earlier in part 2 he mentioned he was part of some organisation that wanted to make sure denji doesn’t expose who he is to the public. If it was public safety I’m sure fujimoto would have said so. So I believe it must be a third party pulling strings from the shadows.

Tbh I’m more excited to see Asa than I am Denji 😂 I love Denji but she has so much depth to her character and so much stuff we still don’t know.
She is much more interesting of a character regardless of what csm diehards say. Very smart to include her in part 2 since denke is a reactionary character that won’t take initiative unless forced or for pleasure.

@@mozaharhauqe78 yeah agreed they're definitely both MCs i guess what i meant is that i think the character was more exciting to me when Asa was more the audience's POV as opposed to Denji. Like, i love CSM part 1 but I think Denji is more interesting in part 2 because he's allowed to just be weird and crazy as opposed to having to deal with all the dramatic parts of the story.

I don't think Yoshida actually stopped her in time, look at the background between when she starts her chant to when she is there with yoshida. It goes from grey walls to bright and open like the light of the setting sun is coming right in because the wall is now gone.
Im so confused but at the same time, Im also very intrigued. What a strange chapter, but I bet its going to be perfect in hindsight after a couple chapters.
I understood the Justice Devil thing to mean that the devils being contracted with before wasn’t actually the Justice Devil. Honestly, whatever that devils role is it’s clearly not done.
I feel like we’re going to get Yoshida vs Asa next chapter. And he might just be getting to her before the rest of public safety for reasons.
Overall, glad the plots starting to pick up again.

I haven’t said “what the fuck did i just read?” after finishing a chainsaw man chapter in a LONG time.
Man, did I miss that feeling.
I think the confusion might be that public safety wanting asa to turn chainsaw man into a weapon is referring to fakesaw, i mean yoru at this point is after the black head chainsaw man and works under his organization so they might’ve been hoping she could’ve done it to make their jobs easier. and denji hasn’t transformed recently so he couldn’t have killed the justice devil and yet they say chainsaw man did it, so I’m assuming at this point they’re referring to the imposter whenever they say chainsaw man, unless they’re directly speaking to denji.
That being said, if fakesaw and fami are working together; maybe fakesaw killed the justice devil, sent it to hell, and fami used her powers to grant justice devil contracts, like how she controlled falling.

7:40 I think the whole sacrifice thing was to get csm to activate not a ritualistic sacrifice per se csm's activation would prolly lead to something to do with Nostradamus sure but ultimately riling up csm was the point I think.

From what I understand public safety still wants Denji to stay put, but they know about the second chainsaw man, probably more than the reader so far. Apart from that they concluded that the contracts the church members have/had were not with the Justice devil since it's dead, so I'd bet the members got tricked. They also seem keen on recruiting and I'm guessing that's what they'll try to do with Asa and the other kids with contracts since they proposed that to flamethrower man, at the same time their honesty is questionable; either way I think like they said they only want Asa detained for now. Maybe it was the church's plan to put Asa in danger hoping Denji will transform, end goal being Pochita appearing again, and the Kumbaya stuff seems arrogant, I believe there's something else coming or at least planned to come

Fujimoto is writing like M. Night Shyamalan. Honestly, I find it tiring. I don't care about Reze. Denji already moved on from her. Why would it matter if she returned? With the way the writing is going, why shouldn't I expect her to be written out of the story in the issue immediately following her return?

Tbh I already getting used to with "WTF is going on" in chainsaw man, but that's why I enjoy the show because it's so unpredictable for everytime Fujimoto setting the plot to get started.

In the last 5 days binged watched a few series. Chainsaw Man, thought it was good rather creative ideas thought the fox demon summon was cool af. Delusional Heaven hands down best so far this year has some big time potential. The new Castlevania it pretty much like sex and pizza even when it's bad it's good and you want more. Hells paradise, decent worth the watch. Emminance in Shadow, it had it's moments but other than that it's childish and absurd if they grew it up a bit more would be worth it. I don't know what their target audience on this one , thinking 16 yr olds who are bored out of their minds and will watch anything. There's something there but gezz the fuct it up.
I think this guy or probably some public safety higher up would like that war converted chainsaw man into weapon.
Then they can take it away from the war devil and use it as their strongest arsenal. So they want it for themselves and humanity not for the war devil.
Also controlling denji and chainsaw man is a hassle. It would be great if chainsaw men would work like their weapons like their dog.

Well I wasn't exactly expecting to sing kumbaya today but let's do it and Asa's poor arm which I hope she turns into a weapon itself lul against Yoshida also Barem gives me the creeps so much still.
Idk man, i fucking love csm but i'm getting tired of the pacing. I think i'll stop checking in every tuesday and wait for a few chapters to get released and read those at once, cause man i have no IDEA what's been going on since denji and asa's date. Like, every chapter reveals something huge or an interesting plotpoint. Only for the next chapter to refuse to elaborate on it further and confuse us even more with more confusing plotpoints.

Why are every single CsM video review basically "I have no idea what's going on, but it's SOOOOO GOOD. **mentions aesthetics** **asks viewers to help them understand** **gives up and admits we can't know but it's just so cool** **character call back**" Like...how can the CsM community read this shit, not absorb anything from it, and still gas the chapter and series up like it's doing something "dynamic"? This is just reader's remorse at this point. And the standard has been set so low that if anything started to make sense, the fans would call it "peak". That's the one thing I can give fujimoto, he doesn't give his audience any reason to expect anything more than what he gives them on a biweekly basis. He doesn't get their hopes up or foreshadow properly, so by this point in the series it's like basically just giving up on the idea that you can read the narrative and then anticipate events based off information present. It's like fujimoto never learned about Chekhov's gun and just went to art school. Didn't take any writing classes and just makes trash that people who were into the first part will lap up because they can't consider the series "bad" by any objective metric as that would make them have to go back and retroactively revisit the previous part and notice that it's all garbage too with nothing resolved and no lore properly explained.
It's in every definition a dumpster fire.

@@abaofifsz It's the opposite of the way CsM fans decide if this is a quality story or not, Where I use facts and reasoning not based off my own emotions, but off the quality of that material to come to this conclusion compared to other media and other literature. Meanwhile the CsM fanbase is the definition of subjective because "it's something of quality to them" without using anything factual to prove that, it's always an emotional appeal or some sort of mish-mashed attempt to justify how them personally being "down bad" doesn't effect their view of CsM/and had they been not a horny loser they probably wouldn't have wasted time on it. Or how they tend to go for the excuse "unconventional story telling" when it's just the case fujimoto doesn't understand Chekhov's gun, doesn't appreciate proper build up, page turn suspense or character consistency let alone consistent world building. This manga is essentially attempting to pander too people on the bell curve who have mid room temp IQ and take themselves super seriously, has limited to no friends, Is afraid of women, Insists they're "well read", and movie references less than 30 years old make them squeal because it's "mature" and "cinematic". When I read Gantz I at least knew it was so bad it's funny. Gantz at least uses CGI as a new aspect to make the backgrounds and such, it at least tries something new. Is the mangaka a egotistical nihilist like fujimoto? yes. Do they needlessly make movie references? Yes. Is he a huge pervert incel like fujimoto? yes. But at least everyone acknowledges the protagonist is a huge loser asshole that no one likes and it's obvious when the author needlessly makes a sub arc about getting 2 girlfriends because he wants that in real life and is expressing that cringe desire in the form of his art...The difference is the audience. The people who read Gantz at least knew it was dog shit while they were reading it, they gave it the proper treatment and understood it's an edgy trash manga for the sake of being a edgy trash manga. It even breaks into different expressions of how the world can effect all of us in some edgy way. The author of good night punpun is the same way where he makes a story about a boy turning into a man who cannot relate to anyone and has major boundary issues...and it looks into what we do in order to justify our feelings without really facing them and how much that can cost you.
BOTH do what chainsaw man is attempting to do better than CsM. And that's if you give CsM every possible excuse to believe it's actually "attempting" something and not making up the plot per chapter or sometimes 2 chapters ahead. Fujimoto is a poor writer, he's an average artist...and everyone wants to make him out to be some sort of modern god of story telling, it's shameful.
