Oh man I can't believe they cut the clip of me doing bicep curls with the Move 2. So much for showing off the guns. Anyway. Great speaker. Lots of money. Biggest external battery I have.
Hey why didn't you mentioned the jbl flip 6 and the charge series Those are lightweight and they sound very good I am saying this because I am a fan of jbl, kilpsch, bose, sonos, hompod and a few others (not a hate comment) and of course a fan of digital trends
Great video - love this channel and first time with one of your reviews. Q for you: have you used the homepods gen 2? curious how the move 2 compares sound-wise. I understand they are different, but have the Homepods but want portability - although not sure I want to give up sound quality (if that all makes sense).
Ya I'll prob get this one, I've got the Gen 1 play 5 which has great sound but it's plug in only and wifi only. I'd love the Era 300 but the move 2 gives me portability I'm looking for. I like to bring my music with me throughout the house and into the backyard.
I have the Move1….it’s good. I pair it with the rest of my system which is cool. But if I was only going to buy one portable speaker it would be the Hyperboom. Portable with great sound and great base-it won’t leave you wanting for more. I’d say it’s not a portable speaker-it’s an amazing speaker….that happens to be portable. Granted it’s twice as big as the Move….but so much better.
Hm. I already have a Roam, and a sonos speaker in every room of my house except the bedroom (where I have google nest minis from before). Do I take it that the Era 300 is the way to go here, then? I was thinking that the Move 2 was going to sound as good or better, and it would give me the option to have a nicer/bigger portable option.
I brought a pro-ject turntable and am trying to decide between a 5, Move 2, or a Port. We have our living set up with Sonos already. Two Sonos 1 for rear and a Sonos arc and subwoofer. Help?
I have the Move 1, Roam, as well as the beam at home. I also have the play 5 and era 300 at the office. Looking for a new speaker for the house and the next Move 2 is the first place I'm looking. Over the last few years, I have taken my Move hundreds of thousands of miles with me. It has gone with me on work trips all over the world, through TSA etc. I have taken it off grid for a week + on camping trips and lake excursions all over the US Southwest. This speaker has been my ride or die. Their other mobile speaker, the Roam, has sound quality good for its size, but once you get used to the quality Sonos delivers, the Roam just doesn't cut it on the road. Had the option to get a portable speaker specked out in my car when I bought it, but there isn't much reason to get that when I can bring a much better speaker with me on the road. Of all the speakers I have, my Move is by far the most valuable speaker I have.
It’s weird that you said the mpve 2 doesn’t sound as good as the era100 when multiple reviews have said it sounds better and should at $200 more. A pair of era100 yes sounds better.
I've had it for about 6 months now I can say that: * Sound: great. * Usability: terrible. Right now it won't charge or turn on so I'll have to go and get ir repaired... NOT worth the price.
good sound and terrible control and even worse support. constant tambourine dances to make it work. one speaker flies off or the other. the support is not the smartest guys... or rather they just don't care.
Could have been a shorter review with less not so funny joke. Aside of that: it sounds good for its purpose, long battery life, quite expensive, has bluetooth and voice assistance. Buy it if you can or skip it if you own the first gen 1.
In the time of this so called administration, Sonos is not something people can run out to buy . They are all way to overpriced and there are much more things that people need more than a very overpriced speaker, or for that matter speakers in this day and age.

@@darkerthandarknessblI don't have one of those here. But it's also more about ecosystem than just a basic bluetooth speaker.

Interesting approach to do a speaker review without a sound quality section.
Always happy to see you on here Phil. I miss your old YT channel though!
How is this better than Sonos Move? I have that, am pretty happy with that. Should I change to Sonos Move 2?

Thats the best product review I EVER saw! Your so good in communication thats insane. Do you have your sentences written down?

I want to see Move 2 vs B&O Beolit 20. Similar pricing. Beolit is a beast sound wise....
I like the slider touch volume and this -> IP56 - "Protected from limited dust ingress. Protected from high pressure water jets from any direction."
Can you take this to the park and have your friend connect via Bluetooth without the Sonos app?
Would you suggest getting two move 2s for surround sound with a beam 2? So that you can take one outside or around the house once in awhile…

Is there a battery charge level indication?
Does it sound better than the original?
The move 2 features a second tweeter, for stereo sound.
What is the mid range like and is the base sound normal and not too powerful
How many charge cycles is it rated for?

can you connect 2 sonos move to the same iphone via bluetooth ?
Does the Move 2 connect to Samsung SmartThings flawlessly?
How is this compared to Hyperboom?

What the heck is a Sonos though?

Ha! You can’t afford a Sonos because of the President… totally. I would be driving a Rolls Royce too, if it weren’t for this administration!
