I was influenced by you to buy this bag. It sat in my wardrobe for a year. Took it out a few times this spring and found the canvas very hard and stiff. I’ve got it in the darker colour way and the canvas is much softer and I love it. I’ve a mini Bennett in an animal print canvas which is also very nice and much more malleable. I ended up giving the light coloured Rowan to charity as I didn’t enjoy it.
You’re right, this one definitely feels stiffer than my other darker bags. But I have found that it’s perfect to carry in stormy weather, or out and about where other bags might get damaged. I have had a total love/hate with it, but you can’t beat a Rowan! Sorry it didn’t work out for you.
Hi ... The Coach Rowan was my first ever Coach bag and I still love it. I actually went nuts and bought more Rowans than I needed, so I ended up selling a couple. But I really love the bag's style and construction. It takes a licking and keeps on ... well, you know. I would love to see how your City Tote is holding up.
That’s neat! I still have my first Rowan, the black crossgrain with peacock trim. I also have the red embossed signature mini, which is just too cute. The City Tote is going strong, but I’ve only had it for a few months ☺️
I’ve got this bag in the dark brown and black canvas which is much more malleable than the one you have here. Still structured but nowhere near as stiff. In fact, one of your earlier videos influenced me to get the Khaki. I had it a year before I used it, but I found it so stiff, I gave it away.
@@VintageSacmind you, I’ve decided to try again because I love the look of the new Rowan in light khaki colour block. It’s great and the canvas is softer like the dark brown. But I also now have the Shay in khaki canvas and that’s a really beautiful bag.😊
TFS still looks great! Have you done a comparison with your Mini Bennett? Just found a Bennett here in NZ with jacquard material equivalent US$38 actually love the size more than the Fossil Sydney/Fiona size/shape 💛
It doesn't look like it has any damage! The bag really has held up well!
