Yes they came out when I was in my early or mid 20s I think and fell in love and then as my young millenia nephew came of age he discovered them and fell in love also becoming his favorite band. He got hooked on Ghost on his own too which is another band I fell in love with from the beginning too. My nephew has some dope taste in music. Gorillaz are timeless.....that's all....❤

The Gorillaz's new album is always an event, a small celebrations of feelings and sensations. There is always songs that so full of life, happiness and joy, songs that make you want to live. Gorillaz music was since I was teenager and was leading me through my years giving me support and joy, THANKS!

The end of Skinny Ape, I lost my mind. That drop I thought maybe Dan Deacon was on the album. Definitely captured the energy he channels in his work. Digging the album it feels familiar yet new Stevie Nicks and Tame, Beck. Cool collabs!

This album certainly starts off with a banger with the title track and doesn't let up.....love the beats and bass on all the tracks and Stevie Nick's is a phenomenal surprising collaboration. Love how they will collaborate with anyone and still retain their style with other artists adding unique touches to every song. Amazing band. Hard to believe they have been around 20 years or so. Been listening to them from the beginning and then my young nephew got heavy into them and went to their show. I haven't got to see them live yet but maybe with a tour with this new album I'll finally get that awesome opportunity. I hear they are pretty amazingly magical live! Cheers to a new consistently great Gorillaz album that pushes their style but still recognizable to their very first album! Love this band and this new album. Some deep emotional endearing touching great lyrics as always!! 🎉😊

I went to play a feel-good Gorillaz track and was pleasantly surprised to see this! Love the sound and it's nice and trim in length.
It sounds upbeat and is positive while intelligently critiquing current events in a kind of masked way to me. Some more so than others tho. And they do it with such catchy beats, hooks and lyrics you just gotta stop and listen intently it's done so well and original yet a pop vibe too that anyone can groove too. Fantastic band with always amazing collaborations!

They are timeless and as long as they put out new stuff they are going to attract younger fans. I fell in love from the beginning in my 20s when they first came out and then as my nephew came of age he fell in love and they became his favorite band then. They are just timeless and appeal to any age group especially being around so long but there isn't many bands that regularly attract a new fan base in young people consistently as they release new stuff. I think that is so great and good for them! They definitely are doing it right!
Been listening to the gorillaz for a long time and they have never dissapointed me! such great music

Muchos álbumes de Gorillaz no los pude apreciar en su momento y es algo que me hace sentir mal ya que los primeros álbumes fueron de los mejores de hecho mis favoritos son Gorillaz, Humanz, Plastic Beach y Demon Days pero me alegra poder apreciar esté nuevo álbum Cracker Island de Gorillaz además de que ésto quiere decir que todavía tendremos a Gorillaz por un tiempo y eso me alegra.

I'm really happy about the creative direction on this album. I like a couple guests artists but IMO I always thought they could bang by themselves. There are exceptions of course but I am ecstatic because it's almost like they tapped my conversations about them because it's hits on almost everything I mentioned to my friends... 👀
I really like their style always collaborating. It keeps their style fresh and new each album. Like Stevie Nick's so unexpected but so satisfying. Collaboration has been their signature style all the way back to the beginning. I feel what your saying tho. They would still be an amazing band without all the collabs.....I think the guests just tweet the songs enuff to give them an edge no other band has achieved and it always works so well how they incorporate them. They never over power the band and their musicianship in the songs I don't think.. I dig the added depth with the guests musicians.....it's their sig style from the very beginning.

Haven't listend to them in a looong time, but i remeber buying their debut album (back when it dropped and you still visted music shops as often i could to find new and exciting musik) and i was sold tjeb an there. Then got demon days, and plastic beach when they eventually were created and released.. Then i ran into a lot of problems and started doing psychedelics and Harder shit... Now over 10 years later Im finally Clean and re-discovering all the "Old" music i used to love and Its god darn wonderfull.
Gotta say this new album is really good :) especially Cracker Island... Its gonna be a Cult song ;)
It's awesome a band you loves from the beginning continues to put out such great original material. It makes you go back and get back into their older stuff more again too. I'm just going to play their whole catalog from the beginning now lol
when you so good you don't even need to release 50m+ albums like other do.
They have 8 albums and tons of singles and EPs, pretty standard for a band lol.
