- Late in the winter months off Townsville north Queensland, took a shot at breaking a pb record for Spanish mackerel and landed the possible fish of a lifetime
Caught my first mackerel when I was 8. It was over 3 ft. long!❤

G'day mate thanks be great to see some catches from down there awesome place Port Macquarie let me know what your catching them on I only ever catch Spanish Mackerel using wolf herring gets expensive but i love it

Nice man I've heard you can pick up big cod also there I've had some big bust off's before felt weird maybe been hit by the cod before, I'm counting down the weeks already ill be hitting the Cape from mid may to late sept

How long is the line from the boat to the bait
This line was 40mtrs out. closer to the boat is good to but my engine is loud I like the 40mtrs and I always put the biggest bait on that one
