Nice video! I love your channel because I am learning some cool technic mechanisms for my builds. I did not knew about the turntable gearbox but I think I saw it before! And I don t think I saw the last one anywere else.
Bit late, but I wonder, in history there's many written things about 'robots' even by davinchi, think you can try a couple? (All used stuff like wind up spring or cheated with human hidden, all used gears (and pulleys, you're smart enough to solve that) so electric motor can be forgiven)
#4 is actually quite cool, shame it grinds every time you shift though, You’d have to double clutch it to get a smooth transition (and even then, I’m not even sure if that’s possible with the way it works)
Jaxson Campbell has a pretty good tutorial for a 4-speed linear stick-shift gearbox, but it can easily be modified for 5-speed + reverse by changing the spacing between gear trains and adding two gear trains. Watch the video ua-cam.com/video/LSyx3pa3vt4/v-deo.html
Look, Morty, this is cool yt content
I'm from Russia, but I love watching your videos!
I tried your only gear gearbox for my lego car, and it Works so well! But it is better with the little light grey gear than the dark grey gear.
Fun and fascinating...
if i could make one suggestion. with the last one, i think it could be possible to use it with one motor.
First one is GEARbox

HEY MORTY
hi 2in1 bricking it would be nice if you put the song names in the description :)
Wonderful ideas and contractions.
But please work on your editing, the time-lapse is a bit jittery and nauseating.
I always imagine this contraptions in my mind beacause lack of LEGOs, however you've shown me that I didn't imagined!
Thanks

And i'm 42 years old 👀
😮

Damn this music ain't half bad 😮 is this royalty free?
Objection! the Offset Gear is clearly the most useful one!
That's actually a very elegant way to do a stepper motor without rubber bands!
Fourth
The entire video I've just been thinking i wish i had this part and that part!

Stoping kids from saying 25th
It actually bugs me that someone thought long enough about how to make a waste of motors to work out a mechamism that does such thing.
Third
I'm sorry to tell you this but...
You're first.
Not third.
Oh well.
You were close.

i would love to see a tutorial on a 5 speed plus revers gear box i because i have no idea how

Here is a smaller gearbox for 6-speed + reverse, you might as well have a 6th gear: ua-cam.com/video/RzowmAaKvFI/v-deo.html
6:28 for this function is not the Changeover Catch
