      @darkfury1733 What if it was a cast like Holy Circle on the GCD? Like it becomes the 3rd hit in your aoe combo? Which regains hp?
      You can cast it on its own, but if you use it as the combo finisher, it does more dmg, and it's instant cast restoring more HP.

    I enjoyed how busy dark knight was, having lots of ogcds is fun to me. I wish they would unlink the cooldowns of abyssal drain and carve, and add back the MP gain they nerfed from blood weapon. I feel like that would make it more fun personally. I think having no potency gap closers is the way to go for all the tanks but I wish they had replaced them with another filler ogcd. They could have even just made it plunge without the gap closer effect.

    The fact that enhanced unmend is still a trait for Dark Knight despite plunge being replaced with a non damaging gap closer is so beyond goofy to me. Can we get some traits that actually improve the job instead.

      what if they changed it to "enhanced plunge"?
      all of drk's weaponskills and spells reduce plunge's(bring back plunge) recast time by 5 seconds? you recharge 1 plunge in 4 GCDs.

    I enjoy playing drk just because I know my healer won’t be used to having to heal during trash pulls. Plus seeing my hp go that low makes me feel alive

      I felt the same in EW. It was the only tank I got to 90 with at the time, even 100 now because it’s not self sufficient.
      Being ‘Mortal’ is much more fun to me.

    As a newer player I really did enjoy how busy DRK was and I’m a little disappointed that we didn’t get any meaningful replacements or things to fill in the gap for what we lost

      In all fairness, the problem with the Job was that, despite all the buttons you were pushing/managing, you really weren't doing anything MORE than what the other Tank Jobs could do with less effort
      Fusing Delirium and Blood Weapon was a good change.
      But nerfing the MP gain and replacing Plunge with an inferior gap closer, that also doesn't deal damage, while not replacing it with anything; really hit the Job negatively.

    Just putting Abyssal Drain's cooldown to 30 seconds and deleting the shared cooldown with C&S is enough.
    According to the fact that Abyssal Drain already gives 600MP, now the 1200MP loss per minute is fixed, we have (a little) better sustain and the job's gameplay is (a little) less boring.
    TBN have to give Dark Art when any damage is received, no need to break all 25% shield, just any source of damage in TBN have to give DA.

      @@janekgaganek3871 My idea was to have Oblation give like a 300 potency heal after receiving a % of hp loss, w/ 2 stacks - 60sec cd, It's versatile, benefits self and party members, I think its the easiest and most balanced way to increase self sustain for MT DRK and bring more party utility for fights where an OT DRK is less active

      My big wishlist for DRK selfsustain is make AD's cooldown maybe 3-5 seconds, but cost 30 seconds of Darkside. Pretty much just a reskin of the DA+AD from stormblood. Edge is a reskin of DA from back then so I think it can fit into our current DRK pretty well. Brings some busy-ness, self-sustain, and dare I say job kit interaction? Should probably remove potency from AD too otherwise it'd double our oGCD counts of Edge. Wouldn't make a significant difference given its current cooldown and potency, and if it did make a difference then that's a trade off I'd give up just for more survivability.

    I'm honestly surprised Xeems did not mention the fuck up the devs did when they merged blood weapon with delirium
    tl;dr they reduced the number of stacks from 5 to 3 and did not adjust the amount of resources you're supposed to gain so we lost 1200 mp and 20 gauge every minute

    As a drk main Dawntrail drk is straight up making me consider taking a break from the game. Like sure I could level another tank, but I don't really want to. I want to play dark knight. And it's just not fun. This might be my WoW year instead.

      I'm basically in the same boat. DRK has been my main since it was released in Heavensward and it's not even the same job anymore. The loss of Plunge was just the nail in the coffin for me. I'm checking out of this expansion and may just come back for pvp rewards if they're decent.

      As someone who initially played DRK, my advice is: play GNB or WAR. GNB feels incredible right now and WAR is just always a good choice.

      Throwing away all the coolest animations is a DRK staple at this point. Since HW we lost Scourge, Power Slash, Dark Arts, Dark Passenger and now Plunge & Blood Weapon. Instead we got 3 seperate skills that just vomit darkness in a straight line in front of us to compensate because of course that's the only thing Dark Knight is known for in Final Fantasy right ?

      There's a lot of cool animations that we have lost over the years from them pruning abilities down, Butcher's Block, Skull Sunder, Dark Arts, Power Slash, Scourge, Kaiten, Enochian, Shadow Flare just to name of a few from a few different jobs. I wish they would move some of the cooler ones to new abilities or new upgrades to existing abilities so that we don't lose them completely.

    The copium I huffed waiting for DRK to be fixed in Dawntrail, man, this job feels awful compared to the other tanks
    After leaving it to 100 and hating every second of it, I decided it was time to bite the bullet and just level WAR.
    Having leveled WAR, DRK really is just objectively worse in every way than WAR is while also being similar in playstyle. I hope it's the job that gets the mid expansion rework. I just want it to be good again

      Not to mention how awful living dead still is, don't get me wrong it CAN be fun in big pulls but you still gotta comunicate with your healer and inform them WHAT the move does because you can't just assume your healer in roulette will know about it, and most healers, after you reach 1HP just insta-max heal you, making the overall window of "invulnerability" very small, you can't use it as soon as you stop and fight because, if the mobs don't kill you... you will die (As stupid as that sounds) you really have to think when to use it, but I've popped LD with less than half HP on w2w pulls and actually lived (Died). With PLD you just press it and forget about your poblems for 10 seconds. Still, it can be fun if you and the healer pull it off.

    I really hope someone asks YoshiP if someone in their team fucking plays DRK. The fact that enhanced unmend still exists with a nondamaging gap closer and LS is nerfed with shadowstrider is just something. Maybe ask the guy that made WAR upgrades to take a look at DRK at least that dude knows how to make a job satisfying.

    I feel like what they could/should do to compensate for DRK losing 1200 mp a minute would be having bloodspiller (or just the scarlet combo) recover 400 mp under delirium, and then make Carve and Spit & abyssal drain give 1200 mp.

    I'm pretty sure day-dreaming of ways DRK could be fixed/made fun again qualifies as a hobby for me at this point.
    The easiest/most braindead way would be to halve Delirium's recast to 30s (while cutting potency from the Souleater combo to compensate), and for self-sustain just increase Souleater's cure potency to 900, and If that sounds like a lot - it isn't. Discounting invulns and 2mins, this puts DRK at ~5600 healing potency per minute, while, PLD/WAR/GNB are currently at ~5390/7920/5760 respectively, and just kinda papers over/band-aids issues with TBN/Dark Mind.
    Some more fun solutions:
    DPS/rotation/fun:
    1) Halve C&S/AD recast to 30s and add a 400 potency heal to C&S.
    2) Remove charges from Shadowbringer; we have to bank potency enough as it is for 60s bursts, having to bank these for 120s bursts feels awful.
    2) Remove Salt and Darkness and reduce Salted Earth recast to 30s (comes out to the same potency per minute but makes it feel like a more integral part of the rotation).
    4) Completely unnecessary, but adds flavor: Instead of having Darkside increase damage dealt by 10%, have it increase Crit/DH rate by 20% (I'm pretty sure this is actually a DPS nerf so potencies might need to be adjusted to compensate).
    Defense/self-sustain:
    1) Increase Souleater's cure potency to 400.
    2) Stick a 600 potency heal on Oblation.
    3) Add an effect to Dark Mind where whenever you suffer physical damage, the recast timer of Oblation is reduced by 15s (this way it keeps its "identity", but still does _something_ when you aren't eating magic); if you take 4 physical AAs in 10s this basically gives you Oblation as Dark Mind is wearing off, and if you're in a dungeon, you can burn both Oblations, pop Dark Mind, and most likely get both Oblations back.
    4a) Increase TBN recast to 25s and increase its duration to 12s (basically guarantees the shield will break), _OR_
    4b) Have TBN grant DA whether the shield breaks or not - this keeps the MP cost, so you lose access to it if you mismanage MP, but assuming you can afford it, it doesn't risk 460 potency, _OR_
    4c) Have TBN grant a single stack of Blood Weapon immediately upon casting it. This makes it a less punishing DPS loss if it doesn't break, but makes it a slight DPS gain if it does, making it overall less punishing while keeping the risk/reward factor, _OR_
    4d) Remove DA entirely, increase TBN recast to 25s, remove the MP cost, and just turn it into a 1200 potency Adloquium, with the shield lasting 15s or so _(this solution most accurately brings TBN in line with the other 25s mitigation CDs, but it would still be the weakest of them, even if there was 0 over-healing and the shield was 100% used up)._
    Without adding new skills or traits or massively changing the job mechanically, these changes:
    - Fix the incredibly boring ~50s between Delirium uses without copying any of the other tanks (no 7-hit combos (PLD), no DCHs (WAR), and no combo on a 30s recast (GNB), but instead a 30s oGCD burst)
    - Makes Shadowbringer/Abyssal Drain/Salted Earth feel more meaningful or just simply less stupid, and mitigates the overwhelming "hold all these oGCDs for raid buffs"
    - Makes TBN, on average, DPS neutral, while preserving its up-front cost and/or risk-reward mechanic.
    - Makes Dark Mind actually do something when you take physical damage, and in tandem with Oblation, makes DRK suck _significantly_ less in dungeons.
    - Brings DRK self-sustain (both with and without considering shields) in line with GNB and PLD (while still being well behind WAR).
    The issue with shields is that once they expire or pop, you have the same HP you started with. They only delay taking damage, they don't recover it, and they also can't crit. DRK's HP never goes up, and when it does it goes up far less than the other tanks. Its just far easier to wear down.

      @@alliego2 Its not that people dislike the job as a whole or they dislike the role, its certain aspects of the job people dislike, stop trying to dumb down people's complaints like that, it helps no one and just prolongs the job's suffering. DRK has quite a few major issues right now, the mindless rotation just being one of them. A job can be easy but still be engaging, DRK is easy but not engaging at all.

      @@shadowdragon8168 Action speaks louder than words. If nobody plays a class, then the devs will do something to get people to play it again. Why do you think people attempted the healer strike? Because not playing a role would get the devs to do something about the classes, but it seems to have not reached a lot of people. Not enough people acted. Why do you think people complaining about micro transactions doesn’t solve anything? Because people still, literally, buy into it. So if people stop playing the class or the game all together because of how it plays, then the devs will have to do something to retain their audience.
      Summoner is my main job and it’s so brain dead now, so I’m going to play something else, try a different class out. If they fix summoner in future patches or next expac then cool, of course I’ll go back, but if not then oh well, I will miss playing that class.
      It’s a huge bummer on Dark Knight too, I love that class, but when I don’t feel like leading the party and spamming 1-2-3 all day I switch to something else. Besides, the tank and healer roles are so important, they have to focus a lot more on other things rather than just their buttons.

    Not too happy with the changes. We lose an Edge of Shadow/TBN every three minutes now for no reason because of the BW/Delirium change, Living Shadow lost 420 potency because he does Shadowstride instead of plunge now, which can be made even worse if the boss teleports to the wall because he will restart his attack loop mid summon by doing Abyssal Drain and Shadowstride again, even if he was about to do Shadowbringer or Disesteem.
    Rampart buff is unusable on Dark Knight because the only consistent healing in our kit is Souleater which you would only be able to proc three times in Ramparts duration. TBN is still worthless in most situations.
    This isn't even a case of "Woe is me, my class isn't on top anymore" because DRK will never overtake GNB, but now Dark Knight just feels hollow and genuinely doesn't excel at anything. It used to offer a busy playstyle with excellent burst and solid defensives for Savage/Ultis, but now they gutted that business, we lost our burst, and they made other jobs even better defensively. Gunbreaker has better mitigation and way better Damage, even without crits, Warrior has better damage, is simpler to play, and has plenty of self sustain/defensive presence, and Paladin is easily the best defensive tank in the game with a simple playstyle and solid damage. Why play Dark Knight? Sure we can take Tankbusters the best if they are magic damage, but we have no way to sustain during autos or multihit busters so bosses like Valigarmanda just eat us alive. We're a complete joke in dungeons and it sucks being entirely at the mercy of your healer. I don't care if DRK can't solo a boss from 100-0, but why can't it finish a fight from 50-0 if the healer dies early?
    I'll still be maining Dark Knight, but I hope the mechanics for the Savage and Ultimate are fun because there is absolutely no joy in my job right now.

      Also im really not a fan of removing damage from plunge on lvl 55 and making up for that damage in 90s range. I think it should be added near the level plunge appears. This might not be important to most, but lets say Palace of the Dead floor 180 boss - not having plunge can be the difference if u make the dps check or not. I remember wiping there on 0.1% cuz i used plunge too late and could not get 2nd use in the check window.

    thx for reviewing Drk in DT. Tho I hoped you'd cover the loss in MP after losing BW and no more Plunge (in PvE). :( That Drk's become so easy at this point says a lot...

    Currently Mnk / melee main with most battle classes leveled by end of EW, but was a former Drk main in HW (while part time War in Creator Savage) and still despising what it's become, with how even more gutted (sorry Guts) with losing Plunge, BW and the 2 MP ticks for Edge... animation updates to Bloodspiller that are nice but came in too late, and a follow up thats only used every 2 min, the same old 123123123 every 1 mins, and still a lack of mf'n sustain while other tanks have it?! To think we used to have Sole Survivor (which was a timed heal / mp bomb if marked foe wasnt killed) and spam DA Abyssal Drain for HP and Quietus to gain mp, which was fun af in dungeons...
    They couldn't leave the iconic Plunge as a 30s dmg ogcd or make a badass updated Plunge animation w/ more effects as the finisher, like another poster said? Meanwhile War the dev's fav baby stays winning
    At least new boss fights look fire, cuz my other main Mnk is gutted as well, with nothing meaningful to replace the flexibility and devs gave it to Vpr :(
    I'd have some hands for the dumbass job design team, if it weren't for Daddy Yoshi P telling us to be nice to devs... still they ignore NA feedback so what's the fucking point
    Might be time to quit for good if 8.0 is business as usual for jobs and Drk / Mnk doesn't get anything substantial... I hate it here. thanks whiny toxic casuals / jp normies "hurrdurr play a different job / wow" f]#( you

    0:59 this is a sentiment I have with a lot of jobs in dawntrail. In the process of fixing a lot of known issues, they also kind of sanitized everything while forgetting to add back in the spice that made everything pop. Thankfully the content itself is good.

    So one thing that really stuck out to me about Shadowed Vigil while leveling through Dawntrail is that it’s a great ability hindered by the ever so problematic two minute timer
    For me Shadowed Vigil is the perfect ability to use against dungeon mob pulls but the problem is with the recast time being 120 seconds (2 minutes) you can only use it with every other pull and in my opinion it needs to be bare minimum 90 seconds but preferably 60 seconds in order for it to be used really effectively in dungeons

    DRK got its identity removed and fun destroyed xpac by xpac.
    Feels so bad to play when it used to be so fun. Good old HW days with stance dance, mana management, delirium debuff, scourge dot… god it wasn’t perfect but now it feels so fucking empty. You just mindlessly spam everything.

      It felt even better with reliable MP regen back then. And it was Dark Arts that was spammable to upgrade other skills in combat right? Drk had so much depth to it that it was high reward. Now its simple as fk to play. And as a person who loves dungeons, my skills as a tank in mmos are great, i dont want bad class design being what kills me. Like i was unstopable in dungeons and barely needed a healer in Stormblood. Now i just feel like someone made a tank build on a test character to see what happens in combat, but its the worst build because it just has dps moves and barely any survivability moves (which is what tanks need to do their job)

      @@kyrxon277 Dungeoning as DRK in SB felt...like a god if you played right, AOE rotation that was actually fun and not 123 spam with juggling of your blood, mp and hp, felt so cool and unique. And in Ex/Savages even tho it was slightly a dark horse it was so damn fun to play with no stupid unga bunga or strict PLD rotation, flexibility, being able to be both good MT and OT with utility...and now we are paying TBN tax that is not even that good outside of savages and feels like the worst tank our of 4 samey tanks. Its ironic how SB tanks were much more balanced while being so different.

      @@sanderkiki yes! The tanks all felt different back then, it's like i was actually looking at a whole different class. Back then i mained DRK, AST, and RDM in SB. When i looked at other caster classes, healers, and tanks i saw 'different' classes. Now it's not like that with the tanks. PLD still looks like the holy warrior of protection to me but the other tanks.... i feel nothing towards them now. WAR and PLD have a raidwide shield, GUN is raidwide damage mitigation, DRK is raidwide magic mitigation. And then every tank has the same universal mitigation skills + a good mitigation you can slap on the MT or someone else for a heavy hit.
      And im mostly a dungeon runner, i dont touch extremes and savages. The moment i actually needed a healer as DRK and felt extremely squishy (including such a SIMPLIFIED tank compared to what it once was) i gave up DRK immediately and havent touched it since.

    I agree that the changes made were good, especially with the changes last expac to delirium and blood weapon it felt inevitable that they needed to merge. However I completely disagree that it being less busy is better, thats the entire reason i enjoy the job and find it fun. I dont want drk to be just another paladin or warrior where i hit gcds in a row, i want it busy but maybe thats just me. Its also why i really like viper right now and i really dont want them to make it less busy next patch.

    DRK and BLM are my favourite classes so you can probably guess my feelings about getting both to 100 and trying the current endgame content on them. I've posted this Wish List before but will pop it on here too:
    1) Uncouple Carve and Spit and Abyssal Drain's CD. Remove Abyssal Drain's cooldown and make it cost 3k MP. (AKA "Just switch AD back to how it was before Shadowbringers")
    2) Take Carve and Spit and turn it into a second Combo that works the same way as Attonement does now, restoring both MP on each step and giving some Blood Gauge on Step 3 like Souleater Combo does. Bring back some old animations to use for the other two steps in the combo. Fixes the lower MP generation and it's an extra combo to press to break up the 1-2-3.
    3) Delirium Combo, Shadowbringer and Scourge all Auto Direct Crit to eliminate the huge Crit Variant problem. Potencies are irrelevant as they can be tuned over time.
    4) TBN costing MP no longer makes any sense with it being impossible to overcap MP in the opener. I would look to remove the MP cost, make it a 20 sec CD and turn the Dark Arts proc into a heal instead of a free Edge of Shadow.

    Its sort of silly but you can break a tbn in the bleed wall of ex2, before the fight starts. Its not even trolling because the bleed dissapears as soon as you leave out or combat.

    I still really like the aesthetics of drk. Just, the giant sword and the dark magic flying everywhere. But man, it is just NOT a good tank, and has no real identity right now. There's nothing that it's the "best" at.

      Fr, at the beginning of EW it was good at dpsing as tank, even was a gain over DNC total DPS if they put a dance partner on you during the burst window.
      Having a 5% DPS difference between tanks while having jobs like WAR and PLD dealing less damage in exchange for more mits and healing tools is also part of balance. If you focus all your balance mindset around DPS then you'll get a ton of people picking WAR for being the easiest, having the best mit and heal, and also being the tank with more DPS.

    We lose 2 procs of Blood Weapon due to it being reduced from 5 to 3 in the merge with Delirium, and we lose gap-closer potency. We gain ONE bloodspiller due to Living Shadow being free. So we lose 2400 MP and 600 potency in plunges every 120s, but gain another use of a 580 potency GCD. This is still a loss.

    Stuff that could change with DRK that would be nice to see, salted earth with a 60s cd so it is more consistent in 60s combo, heal on c&s, id say 2 stacks for c&s but then we would just put it in 2 min and not 60s window. Imagine if salted earth gave mana back if the boss was in it so you needed to plan where to put it for max efficiency. Merge oblation and dark mind so its a 20% magic and 10% physical than idk give it 2 stacks or something. Theres a wishlist of sorts that doesnt rework DRK entirely. If i missed stuff comment it

    I wish they made the scarlet delirium combo like PLD's new atonement, where you get it at all levels once you get delirium
    and now that they took away the ONE small thing you had to care about, ie building blood for shadow every burst, idk the job just feels hollow, everything is so disconnected and you can literally just faceroll your whole rotation and everything will work perfectly

    I honestly don't mind it being less busy, it feels better now, imho, the busyness of it previously didn't add any amount of "difficulty" or "challenge" to the job, it was just more hectic without rhyme or reason to it. What I think it still needs is more sustain obviously (just give us the PvP SE ffs, problem solved), and also something more to do inbetween big combos, like if they took Edge and gave it three variants that all did three different thinks (think like VPR) and one of those things increased MP regen in some way, then DRK could weave oGCD MP spenders more frequently which would give it more of that busy feeling some people want but also make it more interesting inbetween those moments so it's not just 1-2-3-Bloodspiller most of the time. Maybe leave one to give Darkside as Edge does now, have another give extra MP on all weaponskills while it's kept up, and maybe make another apply a DoT, then have them all apply a baseline duration that can stack once just like Darkside right now, that gives obvious priority to keep it in line with how the job works while also providing some much needed variety and uptime.
    Will it make MP management easier? Yup, but if you think managing your MP amounts to any level of "skill expression" worth defending then you need to get your head out of your ass cause it's a basic bitch baseline limiter that takes next to zero effort to manage properly.
    But who am I kidding, half the community who mostly doesn't even play DRK at any reasonable level gets up in arms whenever you recommend any changes at all, so I doubt CBU3 will ever give it any changes we actually ask for anyways...

    Yeah DRK was my main and fav job throughout basically all of Endwalker, and now it feels no more engaging than WAR or PLD does. I love WAR and PLD, but I specifically loved DRK because it played like a busier version of WAR's rotation. I love tanks and love busy jobs, but as someone who hasnt clicked with GNB yet, I feel really let down by these DRK changes. I was and still am a big advocate for decoupling damage from gap closers, but not giving us a new short cooldown OGCD to spam during our burst really blows and makes this job feel hollow compared to before and I did NOT want utility at the cost of the enjoyment of my rotation. It just feels incredibly dumbed down, even more than it already was. Disappointing.

    I don't really see myself playing DRK this expansion, I thought they felt really good in Endwalker after the quality of life changes to Living Dead and Bloodweapon but now they are just kind of underwhelming. They don't have any buttons anymore which is kinda lame as I really enjoy busy jobs and never found them overwhelming. They felt good, of course I wanted more survivability(why is TBN still unchanged?) but overall good. Now its super boring while still having no survivability and not even doing the most damage of the tanks. The loss of MP regeneration bugs me too because it is completely unnecessary, bloodweapon should still be 5 stacks. If PLD can have a ton of MP regeneration why can't DRK have just a bit more too?
    Anyways, personally I am disappointed with the DRK changes and how it plays now, just no spice to the rotation and not even pumping out good damage. Oh well I suppose there are three other tanks that I can dedicate time to this expansion and hope that maybe they'll give DRK something to make it more in depth and fun again. Hopefully before 8.0 as I wouldn't want to wait that long to play them again

      The job is still much busier than PLD. It does have quite a few ogcds still, but that doesn't make it more engaging. It definitely needs something on the gcd level imo, because the majority of the buttons it has are "don't overcap, press on cd/at 2m" and there's so little thought to resource management.

    What I miss is the hw animations like scourge and the old delirium. I don’t see why they don’t use those animations as upgrades. Like say you press hard slash , it then turns into scourge get like a 20 potency increase over hard slash, and then back into hard slash after pressing scourge,

    Personally the DPS rotation is perfectly fine. I don't mind it. It's the defensive CD's that make me question who's designing this job? Hope they look into it, just feels off compared to other tanks.

    I played DRK casually in EW and I plan on doing Savage content with it in DT. I like the changes overall. BW and Delirium being one button is great IMO. Not having damage on my gap closer and actually having value in using it for the utility it's meant to be is nice.
    My issues with the job are the same as they were prior to DT. Abyssal Drain being tied to C&S and being on a 60 sec CD is fucking awful. The TBN is unchanged and imo could have really benefited from an upgrade that provides us with a heal. Fuck let Salted Earth heal you over time while you're inside of it just like it does in PVP! I really just more sustain from DRK.

    Played all at 100. GB/WR i like the most. I have been enjoying GB more just health yo/yo's less you feel like a god. WR self heal still fills amazing rotation is simple. Paladin feels good but not good enough for me not to play the other two. DK I did not enjoy at all. Fills ok in trials. Will do fine. Dungeons are awful. I want to LOVE DK but its just not there right now. I don't really think with a "Main" tank to play i see what feels the best to me in the expansion and right now that's GB.

    I only wanted one thing from this expansion for Dark Knight, an ability that if it was too much to ask for something on par with bloodwhetting was at least on par with Holy Sheltron and HoC .
    And so once again I am here feeling like that kid who got a bunch of stuff from his Christmas list but that one toy or video game console you really wanted them to give you, but little did your six year old brain realize that money was tight that xmas so mom and dad ( square) looked at the rest of the list and said: I do everything but the first five items on the list.

    I think TBN is give and take tbh, when it’s good it feels REALLLLLLLLLLLL GOOD. It’s feels like there’s skill expression to be had, like going into an ice buster in Worqor Lar Dor as soon as your 2 min is about to come up you feel like a golden god.

    With the (not so much) changes and improvements I was expecting a 20mins rant about drk but even xenos is sad and tired of the bs against drk.
    It's even more sad for drk players now.

    For GNB and DRK, is it worth hanging back for a sec for boss to move after casting Lightning Shot/Unmend respectively and then using Trajectory/Shadowstride to gap close and also build extra enmity or is there no fear really in getting aggro ripped from you in Raid/EX content?

      Your cotank should just not have their stance on for the opener to let you generate enmity. Unmend/L. Shot will give you plenty of aggro to not be overtaken by other players as usual. No need to wait when you pull, though I personally do because it lets you center the boss better/sooner.

      This has never been an issue to me, if my co-tank rips the aggro they just shirk back to me when their burst is done

    while im glad gapcloser damage has been removed, this unintentionally nerfed drk at sub 100 content (dsr, tea, etc) because your 123 doesnt get buffed to make up for the loss of damage until like 94, also drk now only has an aoe gain on 3+ after the 123 passive buff but is still a gain on 2 in lower leveled content which is super awkward.

    I don't give two shits about DRK's sustain, but I sure wish they'd dial back their streamlining a bit. DRK when released had the most engaging mess of a class they had made yet, managing TP, MP, enmity and mitigation was intense. Now you have 1,2,3 and watch out don't overcap somehow. Oof, man. Oh well.
    Also Xenos too calm I am going to blow a gasket at thought I'd get deafened by yelling and bell ringing at LEAST on the DRK video.

    They made DRK worse. I miss having a priority for my OGCDs. Also, DRK's whole thing was that it had a lot of damage buttons, so why is it the lowest damage. Playing DRK is just like "-1000 dps" for no reason. ALSO also, DRK is the MOST BORING tank to play outside of your burst. Looking at a timeline for DRK, it's just like "123123123123123123123123123BURST123123123123123123"

    drk just feels so zzz now. Less to do, plunge gone and replaced with a boring gap closer and the new animations don’t feel, look, sound as good compared to what the other tanks got
