I was running a msd 7531 box. F1-x procharged sbc making 27# of boost running on alcohol. Blow thru carb, 26degree timing. My question is, plugs looked good running on the 7531 box. Added a msd 8+ box to help burn the alcohol better, now my plugs look like they are getting too hot. Ngk 10's. All cad burned off end of plug. Look black. What's happening. Do I need a colder plug now.
Appreciate the technical talk and the video it is pretty helpful good job
I’ve always used NGK. But damn 27 degrees with all that boost. Methonal for the win
That was a little high, last weekend it was at 24-25 and plug looked good and engine seemed happy. Do what the plugs say.
Nice channel John. Keep doing your thing✊🏾
Thanks man, you og in the boosted world! Learned a lot and got a lot of inspiration from your rides!

Need more fuel! Fasten it up! Hotter spark burns more fuel.
Would 7’s be to hot for a all motor big block? I have 9’s when it’s on the bottle but was wondering if running around town if 7’s could be an option
Yes 7-8’s on NA
Always ran ngk plugs work well!!!
Indexing the spark plug? Is it worth it?
I’m a little confused on the cadmium burn for AFR, so the more shiny that fatter the mixture and cooler the chamber is? Or is it the other way around.
Yes, you got it!
Do you drive to and from you're pit or tow the car?
Who wire you holley
