Mine pops like that on deceleration from 8k RPM to 3k RPM. Its a bit much for daily riding, but everyone gets upset when I say I want to remove the pops n bangs 🤣

It's because of the tune, they did something specific with the combustion timing so it would pop more

My 75 400 four had speed shifter in 1978. It was me, kuds today do not know jack about riding. Been speed shifting for decades lol

They changed the ignition timing a little with the tune, that causes backfiring. Catalyst was also removed 👀
