I swear to God, you are genius. Thank you so much, sir. I am making notes for these studies from your videos. And I just needed studies from social approach to complete all notes and start preparing my exam. Btw, I wish all students best luck on this exam session during pandemic.
Woah not only you have a gift of communicating and how to deliver information nearer to the listeners, but you have such broad related knowledge too. Kudos Ross! May your teaching get spread to much more viewers.

Glad you enjoyed the videos Sadly I don't have a full time job and I lack the resources to produce videos fast unless people online would like to support me.
Some strengths of quantitative data would be that it's easier to calculate and you can compute large amounts of data easily when it's all quantitative. Quantitative data is usually less prone to researcher bias as well since it's numbers. Weaknesses would include things like how quantitative data doesn't capture data in-depth. Some complex phenomenon cannot be easily quantified.
When trying to find methodological errors, think about it in this way: 1. Consider the different aspects of a study such as the design, the sampling method, the sample itself, the procedure, the analysis of results. 2. Refer to your research methods notes and then look for the disadvantages in the areas of the study. For example: If the study used a natural experiment design, you will immediately know that the methodological strength is that the environment is natural and participants will most likely exhibit natural behaviours. And at the same time you will immediately know that the methodological weakness is that there are a lot of extraneous variables that cannot be controlled in a natural setting hence they could affect the results. ^Link this answer to the specific study with clear examples. Now try to apply this framework of thinking to the study of Yamamoto.

Hi sir, thanks for the video. I have one question regarding strengths and weaknesses. What is an evaluation we can give regarding quantitative data?
Some strengths of quantitative data would be that it's easier to calculate and you can compute large amounts of data easily when it's all quantitative. Quantitative data is usually less prone to researcher bias as well since it's numbers.
Weaknesses would include things like how quantitative data doesn't capture data in-depth. Some complex phenomenon cannot be easily quantified.
sir, how can we write repeated measures experimental design as a weakness for the study's evaluation?
Thank you so much sir! Just a question- what would a methodological error in this study?
When trying to find methodological errors, think about it in this way:

Hello, I have not had time to record Milgram's study yet. I will try to add it in the future.
hahaha the friend that you mentioned at 4:10 must be a fan of the show F.R.I.E.N.D.S. they pretty much have a whole episode dedicated to this debate lol, great video thanks for your help
He might have been indeed :)

My email is available, you can email me your questions.
Sir, will you also make videos for A2?
Coming soon.
for the order effect condition arent they also checking if chimps that don't have mother-child relationship help each other since they use AI, Pal and Cleo?
All the chimps had mother & child relationships
So I am not sure I understood your question. Could you rephrase it?
Can you please post the other two before our cie on Tuesday!! These help a lot
I'm afraid I won't be able to as I sadly do not have enough time. Consult your textbook and perhaps find other online resources.
