These are very simple examples. On some real projects you will get problems with a promises and checking elements existence which is not realised in a Cypress in a way it should be. So when you need to check if element is present and do some actions depending on present it or not, you will see all the "best" of cypress. Next circle of hell will be CI and totally different behaviour when Cypress runs headless.
