As an Asian, this is so real. My parents absolutely forbade me from having a boyfriend until I went to college. Then when I was in college they changed the goalpost to 'when I have a steady, well-paying job.' Now i have a job but no boyfriends and they're asking me where their grandchildren are, completely unaware that they're the reason I dont know how to find love
Very good analysis I always wondered why her style was yes, feminine but also kind of childish, unlike kat who is more like a tomboy and uses strong colors. I think it really reflects how her family infantilize her
Now I’m worried/self-cautious… I’m 16 almost 17 in like three weeks and my style in real life is like hers, girly and I love to wear pastels and red and white…. I’m a junior in high school currently. Also my mom didn’t let me dress myself when I was in middle school so I’m thinking that might be part of why I gratitude towards these outfits? But also I’ve always like girly things and dresses even when I was in middle school when I was suppressed that…. Do people really judge and think it’s childish? 😅🤔
@@vanilla1353Don't worry about it. If you're worried about guys liking you, don't worry they will. Everyone finds a different style attractive. Confidence is what makes the difference. If you're worried about looking childish, you shouldn't. I've never had anyone tell me pink skirts or dresses are childish. You get different reactions about what you wear though. E.g pink outfit: you look sweet or gentle black outfit: you look gothic or intimidating Green outfit: you look natural or mature So on and so forth. I myself sometimes dress quite intimidating or gothic, sometimes I wear pastel dresses and doll heels. I enjoy wearing different looks based on my mood. If you like Bianca's style then go for it with confidence.

This is my issue atm ,instead of romance its career and ambition . One of them esspecially yelled "YOU ARE HERE UNTIL I FIX YOU " as if it works when as i want to break out I will destroy them and dump them in the end
"You are here until I fix you." Basically just means, "We will keep nitpicking little problems that you have so we can make excuses to keep you trapped with us and also manipulate you into thinking that you'll never be ready to move out." Imagine if every parent refused to let their kids do anything until they started to act perfect. Those parents wouldn't be able to move out from their parents' house either. It's extremely selfish and unfair of these type of parents to deprive that freedom to their own children when they themselves were able to benefit from those chances that their less authoritarian parents gave them.
Another interesting thing about Bianca is that she is dressed in lighter and more doll esc styles, therefore showing how naive and childlike she is at times
my dad is the same way with me, except that i have kat's state of mind and i know what to and not to do. however i've been sheltered all my life and am literally in the house every single day (homeschooled too) and just going on a walk is a fucking adventure. like bianca i understand her frustration but also dont understand how my parents dont have to worry about me getting with the wrong crowd or getting pregnant (cuz im selective n dont believe in sex) but still continue to treat me like an infant who wont be allowed to be free until i move out. EDIT: me and my brother are planning to move out hahahaaaaaaaaaaa

This is the kind of mental gymnastics. Sorry for you.
I know. It sucks.
Ops...
I am Asian too and my parents were "no boyfriend until you married."

Exactlyyy

thank you! 🩷
I really wish youtube allowed us to save short videos like this
When ever you like a video it gets saved into a liked video playlist on the UA-cam app.
You can also tap on the three points of the the settings on top right and save it in the playlist "watch later" or in your "favorites"

I love my sneakers. But that because you don't have a prada backpack.

Literally me. Like I have a guy friend and they’re so suspicious and I’m like “WE ARE NOT DATING 😩😩”

I definitely relate to Bianca and Kat
I would love a video on Heathers or The School For Good And Evil (even though the movie is nothing compared to the books!)

Very true thanks for expressing that point ❤
