Torbek and Chuckles are easily my favorite characters but feel like both must be stressful on the vocal cords in the long run.

I think Torbek is not so hard for Andy. When he talks out of character he will sometimes talk in a husky/scratchy and deep voice. But for us normal humans it fucks your throat up as I had a character similar to Torbek (at least the voice).

As another human that can duplicate the chuckles voice as well (voice character clearly originates from Ed Wynn, he even does a bit reminiscent of the mad hatter in another campaign) surprisingly enough its the gruff gravely voices that will still strain the vocal cords most 😅 because you have to force the grumble out while the rest is more just releasing the air in a higher octave
And honestly as a person with an unaturally low voice, that strain he is doing with torbek still gets you after a while. you can even see the partial flexing he does when speaking with it. Best extreme example of this style just a bit higher is Sméagol (the voice is basically equivalent to non stop gargling while humming after 1-2 hrs) Just great though, love em both.
Torbek suddenly becoming capable of beautiful poetry (even though it’s not original) when they take him away when he couldn’t come up with a single rhyme at the -rap battle- poetry contest kills me

It's kind of interesting to hear Torbek's initial voice after hearing it's more developed version. You can tell some of the mannerisms weren't quite worked out yet, but it eventually gets there.

Never having played D&D myself, it was fantastic to see how worried they got when the DM started laughing.

Can I say how much I appreciate this. I love the characters, but I find myself getting bored by the 3 hour run times of each episode, so this helps keep me interested lol.
