First practice in my first Feline Quadsuit

Thanks for watching my first youtube video.
In the video is my first practice walking in a quadsuit in school.
This is my first time making a fur suit,
a lot of challenges, but a lot of fun.

and yes, her name is "Tall-fei-gai"拖肥雞, named by my friend,
meaning "toffee chicken" in cantonese
because my friend thinks toffee's foam body look like a chicken(uh?....)
She is a character i have been drawing since i was a kid,
a big white cat with long ears like a fox.(maybe a foxy cat?)

Isa, Suki and my teacher Felix helping me out in this walk.
I found some problems in this first run, but i will fix them later.

I love that quadsuit but if you would walk like a real animal it would look much better (just a tip, i don't want to be mean)
Thanks for the comment ketsu, yes i agree i wasnt walking very well in the first practise haha, this is quite an old video now, i will definitely do a lot of things differently now :p
im 10 and i made my first quadsuit, mine is really bad but i dont care lol. yours is so pretty! im so amazed by your work!
u are very talented to build your own quadsuit at the age of 10,
(i cant sew a thing when i was ten, haha)

haha, no, i am just 160 :P
i added a big butt pad (+ a little build up on the back)
so, when i put on the suit,
it will show a straight back line and a pair of long back legs;)
Cute but it has no neck so a bit weird..
I am surprised that there is fursuit/quad suit maker in hk!!
is that your interest or did u make the suit for performance purpose?

How can you see? I am making a bear quadsuit and if you could hif me some pointers on foaming the head and actually making the body suit. that would be great!

I am thinking of a horse, however I am not to sure, I might start with a cat as I feel the most confident with them, but it will be one of my oc's
horse and cat are both nice:D

Is your spine made of rubber?!
hi nugget,
this suit does not have any structure spine.
if you are doing a really big big monster suit, you can add a spine for structure, to hold the shape. but if you are doing a smaller suits like this, adding a spine can cause problem, like it can fold and give you weird shapes when you sit down or do certain pose :)It depends what you are making.
This is quite an old suit haha, I think i will do a lot of things in a different way now :D
@@stephaniewhw Thanks for the advice, it actually really helps knowing this because I'm starting my own quadsuit, but what I meant was your real spine because you are on a fours for a while! It's actually really impressive XD

haha, i totally got your comment wrong,
i have only done 15-20 minutes walking each time, so it was alright, it is more on the arms and the back muscles, I should have done weeks of push ups before this. haha

You need to work in your movement/walk in the suit but other than that, it's great! :D

the suit has 4 parts: the back shoes, the main body, the pair of stilts and the head, so, it is basically like putting on the gloves and helmet, and, you become a cat=D
