I was thinking the same thing. What would a school advocating for a ceasefire in a foreign country do? Go to the country itself and protest. Now that I think about it, doesn't it take two sides to call a ceasefire? If Hamas and them would stop sending missiles towards Israel and U.S. Forces, I am pretty sure Israel would chill out.
It's not just that, Yale holds thousands of shares from defense/weapons manufacturers that help aid the bombings of Palestinians. That's what it's really about, but the media really doesn't even share that information.
Institutions have power. Academics have power. They won’t be able to pick up a phone and call for an end of the conflict but it certainly can start to create a turn of the tide that puts pressure on Washington. These institutions have lots of close connections with Politicians

What’s interesting is Russia has killed about the same number of Ukranians as Israel has killed Gazans, and none of them were part of a terrorist group. And Ukraine didn’t attack Russia or kidnap their people, they were just invaded. As of April 1st of this year the trial was still ongoing. Because of censorship this items has been delected the last several times I posted it. It is not an antisemetic statement.
