With the support of her wife, Claudia, and their adorable pups, she’s telling the stories that she wished someone had told her when she was a teenager - and she does it all with a fabulous vintage vibe.

As a gay disabled teen I am crying, tears of joy

"I'm blind in one eye, I forget about that all the time" I don't know why but I just love that because it makes perfect sense, it would be her norm to not see the way other people would!
As someone who's only visually impaired in one eye, can confirm, it is easy to forget when you're out there living your life. It's only if I stop to specifically think about it, then I realize how it really effects my life, lol
Always wanted to know what seeing in stereovision would be like, but it's definitely not the end of the world :)
@@ErraticConduct Honestly, seeing with both eyes isn't that different. You get maybe an extra 20% field of view to the blind side, plus better depth perception. The depth perception thing isn't noticeable even to me when I close one eye. It's when I try to test myself (e.g. touching a small object from the side with 1 finger) that I realize it's worse.
I have floaters in my eyes and I always forget about them lmao

I am thrilled that you chose to highlight Jessica's channel. I am bedridden and have been seriously ill for @ 18 years. I found Jessica maybe 6 months ago. What she says about isolation is so true. When I'm lying awake at 3 am in pain, feeling horrible, and so incredibly lonely. I can go on UA-cam and find a video with Jessica and Claudia or Clara, suddenly I feel like I'm in the room just chatting with the girls. Jessica truly has a unique gift of lightening people's spirits. I believe that's why the channel has grown so fast! 💞

@@sunflashfuturesailor Thank you so much! I'm actually one of the really lucky ones in that my family is truly wonderful. I have much to be grateful for, but my husband works nights and I do have some rough nights. That's why I'm so grateful for channels like Jessica's. It saves me on those nights that it really is darkest before the dawn. ❤
Isolation is horrible, it sucks. I'm not good at interacting with people much.

Absolutely love Jessica and Claudia. I'm a child of deaf parents, I am gay and I have my own share of health issues so it's so lovely to see her videos and love living life. As a side note, the music on this video is really overpowering the speech (for me anyway), it might just be me.

Jessica is so lovely. I'm a disabled young person that's around her age & I can't count the number of times her channel has made me cry from relief that someone understands what I'm feeling.
Thanks for interviewing Jessica! She is a positive force in my life for sure! I have cyclical vomiting syndrome so there are times I make plans and I wake up and my body says “Nope!” I plan around it but friends who don’t have a condition like this get frustrated with me and it gets me down. Seeing Jessica helps me stay mostly positive and now that I’m quickly becoming riddled with arthritis I can’t always go down the stairs to get out of the house. And I’m losing my eyesight as well. But (except for just now) I focus on what I can do. And Jessica’s right: DANG the internet is amazing when I’m stuck in the house!

Jessica's channel was one of the first I came across after I started going deaf. I also live with chronic illnesses and her videos have been an invaluable resource of inspiration, hope, and escapism. She is amazing and is easily one of my favourite creators on UA-cam.
I admire you, your accomplishments, your courage, your sweet nature, your living how you want to no matter what; happy you have a happy married life! Keep posting videos if you want to - they are FAB.
Gosh I love this woman, I’ve just discovered her and she immediately got my follow because she is such a joy and so wholesome which just warms me up and completely helps me with my own disabilities, certainly not as bad as her own but a few similar symptoms. She’s such as inspiration how she can keep herself together so beautifully and keep positive attitudes and dress so wonderfully and it just makes me so happy to see her doing all this and doing it so well. Her and her beautiful wife deserve so much happiness for the amount of happiness they give. The most Wholesome women ever.

Jessica is a big example of invisible disabilities and how they can be "deceiving".
Looking at or hearing her, You cannot see that She is disabled at all. Which is the reality for millions like myself. She's an inspiring example of strength and self love.
They look like such a lovely couple. I've just started watching Jessica and I love her videos and aesthetic. I find her inspirational as I'm a girl of roughly the same age and have disabilities too. I have EDS and spondylitis. I'm also a recovering addict too
