Hello Master. Since I discovered this vidéo 2 years ago I expect to do the same. I've just finished my diorama, showing a 1/48 scale Walrus piking up a dished pilote in his dinghy. Beautiful model superbly crafted and stunning levels of realism. I particularly like the way you call out the various materials and paints you use as you go along. One thing for me, it is crying out for a pilot!
Just look at how that central float breaks through the wave,......that well used, oil sweatting piece of war machinery, all these details, .......wow,..so skillful.
You never cease to amaze me with your skills. This model is another perfect example. The water effect is on point. Also, I’m amazed at how well the zippo fluid mixed with paint worked. I’ve spent lots of money on a product you seem to have created for much less - brilliant!

Even if you simplified your way to perfect, it is maybe your best model. During the video I bought Pete in 1:72 scale (from Fujimi). So, thanks for inspiration. And congrats of great model! All the best for you! ;)

This Hasegawa kit is truly great, indeed. However, it's quite expensive. Tamiya made this kit, too, and can be found for far less money. The Tamiya version is, because of its age, nowhere near as detailed as this one. Tip : this is a fun airplane to build and it looks nicer in person than it does in pictures. It really has some elegant shapes. Tamiya or Hasegawa...... : buy this kit !!!!

What's the benefit of Zippo fluid over thinning products? Less agressive or smelly?
