Great video Will! Lobster fishing is fun until one of them grabs your thumb with their crusher. Lol. Been out a couple of times with a buddy out of Yarmouth. Seen an 8 lbs lobster. Frigging huge & a little scary. The empanadas looked absolutely delicious. I guess I will have to try these. Our main lobster season just opened on the south shore. Sweet. Thanks for sharing!!!

I want to get into tautog fishing and was wondering where to find tautog spots, I’ve seen your tautog videos but was wondering what other tips you have?
Best advice is time in the seat, find structure and build the bite, sometimes they take a while to come in. Check out Peter ranieri fishing. His latest tog vids are incredibly informative

@@CookingWithClams I've been eating lobster for the better part of 65 years and for several summers when I was little, sometimes on a daily basis when my father had a lobster license and "lobstered" as a hobby. He caught them for us off the RI coast. He rigged up a davit on one of our boats to make pulling up the traps easier. My mother was a gourmet cook - especially when it came to French cooking. My siblings and I learned hidden places to find lobster meat in the head and the body that 99% of people including chefs to this day don't know exists and throw away. Needless to say, she and my father were extremely knowledgeable, when it came to preparing lobsters.
Hey Will, there's a crazy story about a guy freediving for lobsters off Provincetown Cape Cod who accidently was "eaten" by a Humpback in 2021. Google it. It's a wild story. BTW, I helped roof a house on MV when I was in High School in the 1990's. Place was RIGHT on the water. We picked scallops daily right in their backyard. Was epic......

I 💯 agree that northern lobster tastes better than spiny lobster. I make something similar with the filling but put it in lumpia wraps. Looks great!

I go to cape cod every year around west dennis, and have always wanted to go lobstering. We're you invited or was this like a charter deal?

So Im curious, are the lobsters with shell disease safe to eat? Any difference in taste?
They’re safe from my understanding. We’ve gotten them at the restaurant and I haven’t noticed a difference in taste
My wife doesnt eat lobster but she'd probably eat the empanadas if they were made with crab meat instead.
