Hi, we have a dedicated meter for our sprinkler system which has 7 separate zones. We had a recent leak and the leak detection company measure the water pressure to be 160psi and recommended installing a pressure reducing valve next to the meter. My concern is that 60psi may be inadequate to push water through each zone. I thought I would ask since it is not one of the components you covered in your video. Thanks!

Hi Yankee Hank, great questions! 160psi is definitely way too high. Most pressure reducing valves are adjustable (example, 25psi to 75psi, etc), which will allow you to fine tune the pressure on your own using just a wrench. 60psi at the water source is generally adequate, but I say this without any knowledge of your sprinkler system, pipe size, distance, etc. My recommendation is to make sure the pressure reducing valve that you install is an adjustable model so you can make adjustments as needed. Let us know if we can help in the future and happy sprinkling!
