I have always been intrigued with the Lucky Bag, perhaps its because of the limitedness + chance of big items. I think though....I'd be so sad if I didn't love the items in it. I'd have to treat it like gambling. I can only spend what I am willing to lose, so I am not disappointed. 🤷♀️

I was disappointed in mine.....oh girl i wouldn't have used that lipstick! It gave me jacklyn hill flashbacks!
Be sure to contact them about the lipstick. Last year, my Lucky Bag came with a broken bronzer and they replaced it right away.
Yes! Their customer service is really good, and they will replace it!
They will replace it but she can still use the lipstick. She just shouldnt roll it up all the way like any other rule in wearing lipsticks. Just enough to use it on the lips

The best value in the box is the Charlotte Tilbury pallet. It retails for $75. The makeup bag is about $11, brush roll up $14, detail brush $28, eyeliner $14, exfoliating powder $16, and the lipstick is $32. So you definitely got your retail value... but would you buy these things normally? Probably not. And that’s what really decreases the value to me.
I'd have passed on the eyeshadow altogether, even if it was $20. I just wouldn't use enough of the colors. Even if I got it for free, I'd pass it along. Not worth the space in my stash for the couple colors I'd use. The makeup back is cute and worth the $11. I'd pay the $14-eyeliner price, but no more than $20 for the lipstick. So two items I'd pay retail for, one I'd buy for a lower price, and the rest I'd pass. A $45-value to me.
exactly and ultimately thats the problem with mystery and subscription boxes. I had fab fit fun for a year, yes the things were nice and I got way more than what I paid for, but looking back it was all stuff I wouldnt have bought normally and that I barely use.

This is the biggest issue with any subscription box honestly. I did ipsy and fabfitfun but ended up feeling that way and cancelled both. Yes I technically got above the minimum retail value but I still have so much FFF stuff I have never used or tried a couple times.
Yup! Which is why I refuse to do these subscriptions. Honestly, I used to get a lot of crap for free because I’m a deal hunter but even then it was mostly stuff I wouldn’t use. I will say it’s fun to do once in a while as a little treat maybe. Like a surprise to yourself. But, not as a regular thing. Before subscriptions became a thing, I would occasionally treat myself to surprise grab bags. My favorite as a child were the ones from Sanrio. So sad those stores don’t exist anymore.
Sonia G brushes are handmade in Japan- they’re not cheap but they’re amazing quality and feel so good to use. I particularly love that blue lacquered range she does so I’d have felt very lucky to get that one in a box! I’d use it as a ‘smudging eyeshadow along the lashline’ brush but there’s absolutely no reason not to use it for concealer if that’s what works for you. But please do use it for something- I feel sad for the brush if it isn’t used and loved 😌

I would contact Beautylish about your lipstick, they have great customer service. When the powder came out i about died with your "nobody panic" Your box wasn't the best I've seen but not a total flop.

The powders usually can be mixed with a gentle cleanser of your choice and it makes it a nice exfoliating wash.

I use those little brushes like that usually for my inner corner highlight!!! Or if I am doing a cut crease I'll use it to put shadow in the area I've cut.

I'm loving Good Molecules lately. I ordered their Kombucha eye cream because I was waking up puffy under the eyes, and it truly helps. They sent some samples of their other products, and I liked all of them. I've been curious about the pineapple exfoliating powder.

GIRL!!! That blue makeup brush is a Sonia G brush!!! SUPER SUPER LUXURY!!! Use it to pack on foiled or metallic shadows. You can also use it to apply eyeshadow to the lower lid. Or, use to apply inner corner highlight.

I've gotten lucky bags from Tatcha the last two years and they are awesome! You have to spend $100 and the value of the bag is over $100. I was highly satisfied both times.
That kit&co bag is pretty good actually.. I have one for more than a year now and it’s still sturdy, I hope I get one on my bag lol
