Wow! My jaw was dropped the entire time. How long would something this incredibly jam packed with edits and VFX take to even edit together? I can't even imagine
And then all their zoom shots are done DURING FILMING! Not even zoomed in when editing! Creating these types of shots on set is just crazy! The amount of detail!
Knowing the general production period of kpop songs it probably didn't take that long... but also everything needed to be so planned out and followed through, they have a powerful team from director to storyboard to editor and more, just insane
The MV director shared on her IG that the last scene with firecrackers isn't CGI or effects, they really destroyed the set for that scene! Even the set & prop artist are still crying over it 😭
I’m a fan of seventeen. Usually we, fans, just focus on the members, not the editing but after watching your video, I started seeing things that I haven’t noticed before even though I’ve watch it more than 10 times. Your video make me noticed how much effort seventeen put on their mv and how much they cares about details. Thanks for the explanation. This is such a great video.
God-tier Rigend Film! I always wonder how they even make their story board. One thing I love about the editing of this MV - is that the members (all 13 of them) had their fair share of screen time. What kind of brain do you have to even plan that out?
Honestly this M/V was really good. The editing was on point! At some points *ex: triangle transition* it had the comic style that was also in the Icy M/V so i found this pretty cool as a Midzy

I love all of Rigend Film’s mv's with svt. Also, the director of HOT said that Rigend Film doesnt have an editor, she said that she’s done all the editing of their work, so if the video doesn’t have editor credits then it means she edited it herself. she’s so talented, i wonder if youve followed her on ig already.
Honestly this MV is so good that had me watching it EVERY FRICKIN DAY for like a month, I'm not even kidding. It also got me into seventeen and made me become an instant carat. I was having a hard time in uni and just wanted to come home and watch the video to feel better, it is so... What could be the word? Intense? Strong? Always changing? This is such a good reaction! Thank you for pointing out the details that we totally missed! You are truly a pro! SEVENTEEN was supposed to end their contract yesterday as they celebrate their 7th year anniversary but they renewed their contracts as early as last year. This makes the comeback more meaningful to them as it signifies new beginning at their supposed to be, end. As a fan, I am also very surprised and impressed as they came from a company nearing to bankruptcy but they were able to save it through their self-produced performance and music. Yup, they take part and are in control of the things they present to the people. If you look back and watch their old music videos, like "Adore U", you can really tell that this is such a hugeeeeeee glowup in terms of the set, the editing, etc. I feel so proud even more. They really worked hard for this comeback so I hope a lot of peoplelike you and me can disccover and appreciate these performers. Seventeen are truly artists.

They say that pledis put their everything to this project to show that seventeen is poppin even after their contract renewal. even the filming process took about a week insted of the usual 2 days. and the effort shows!!
i swear that production team they're working with just gets better and better at editing like omg ???? how could they even think about editing all of this together ?????
DUDE YOU NEED TO COVER MORE OF THEIR MUSIC VIDEOS!! Clap is a good place to start bc of the amout of visual effects and references to their older m/v’s. (SVT Stans for Specialized Videotape Technology)

"The attention to detail is insane." That's one of the reasons that I love Kpop, because that applies to everything and by everyone involved, the vocals, the choreography, the music production, the sets, the styling, the makeup.
I love watching an mv and thinking it's really good, but then watching Jordan's reaction and learning it is actually amazing. 😅
Definately best mv in kpop EVER. I'm so glad you broke down some of the effects for us, I would never notice half of this stuff on my own!
love your reaction, this MV REALLY SOMETHING GIVE ME HOT VIBE
I'm sorry, why didn't I watch this before? I swear I never notice these mind-blowing effects when I watch the MVs, but as soon as I see Sensei Orme's videos, my respect for idols and their companies blow through the roof! Thanks for the content, Sensei!
The MV is insane!!!!!! Everything is so dope holy cow
THIS IS THE MOST ELABORATED AND COOL SVT MV EVER!! they have other AMAZING mv's like fallin flower and darling but THIS ONE??? IT'S ONE A WHOLE DIFFERENT LEVEL
Seventeen are truly artists.
our talented boys😭 been here for not even a year and they are just getting better and better every time, and their dancing sync is INSANE
I genuinely want you to react to SVT's Adore U. It was their debut and them and their company barely had enough money to even let the boys debut. Carats now joke about the editing alot. I really wanna see how feel about the interesting editing.
And the fact vernon edited it with wonwoo's ipad 😭
omggggg i'm relally loving this edit analysis vids for hot mv!.! like the mv is so cool for mundanes like us who dont know a single thing abt editing and hearing so much technicalities and details from experts like u made us appreciate the video so much more! ! ! literally the song is the great, the mv is great, and what else, seventeen one of the greatest grps of their gen!! ! !
OMG JORDAN!! It's been so long since you reacted to Seventeen! Thank you for this!!
I saw a bit of hit reaction in Tiktok and here I am watching the whole video! Thank you for explaining the hard work of the editing team for the HOT MV. :)
when jordan said it was gonna take him 45 mins to get through the video i felt that cuz it took me 45 mins to get through it- it took me 10 mins to get past the 1 min mark-
BUT you should definitely check out more of SVT, they are INCREDIBLE
first time watching this kind of video where kpop mv editor reacts to kpop mvs and i didnt know its fun! like u pointing out how amazing the mv is and how much work is put in to produce this high quality vid! i mean i didnt noticed all the points u've said in the vid 😆
anw thank u for reacting to seventeen!!!
take this with a grain of salt. i work in the kpop industry and is working with a former employee of pledis. They say that pledis put their everything to this project to show that seventeen is poppin even after their contract renewal. even the filming process took about a week insted of the usual 2 days. and the effort shows!!
WOWWW
im so happy that you liked it!! this was def one of my favorite svt tt videos because of the editing, alone. can't wait to see more :)
i fucking love seventeen
AS YOU SHOULD
i swear that production team they're working with just gets better and better at editing like omg ???? how could they even think about editing all of this together ?????
I can’t stop laughing at 9:47 on how I expected Jordan to be surprised because of the editing but it was because of the hip move by Vernon 😭
I love how you catched ALL the details on the mv!! as you said, there were a lot of edits and for sure is the best mv ever!!
yesss the BUDGET n what can I say, SEVENTEEN DESERVE IT
How crazy do you want it?
Seventeen : YES
DUDE YOU NEED TO COVER MORE OF THEIR MUSIC VIDEOS!! Clap is a good place to start bc of the amout of visual effects and references to their older m/v’s. (SVT Stans for Specialized Videotape Technology)
Good day Jordan. You again explaining & praising the hours of work by the editor leads me to learn more editing techniques. Only a good editor sees a good editor. Salute !
