An outlined version could work too. But I like how it looks. It looks even better in person. Plus, having the white only be the eyes draws reader to that intense focal point.

Hate to say... The missing white around the head would of really made the head "pop" a lot better...

Did you ever finished law school?
Yes. Graduated. Pass the bar with a 163 score first time. Still am a licensed lawyer. But I switched to using my legal skills for myself, mostly.
