      @@ThePhlogPhotography Had a play with it earlier and there’s loads you can do with it. Like desaturating just the highlights looks great on some images.

    Edited a ton of photos, and then I discover this video. So many pics could be perfected by using these techniques, but you learn something new every day! Thanks for introducing these tools, I'll surely use them in the future!

    I've always struggled with brightening up darker areas. Simply raising the shadows tends to lead to an undesirable, unnatural HDR look! Thank you for this incredible tip. I will use it well!

      Get a Nikon and you won't have an issue with dynamic range. Nikon lead the way in shadow recovery aka dynamic range.

    I was looking for away to single out a dirt road to make it a cooler tone while keeping the rest of the image warm, with out using the brush tool. This is perfect thank you!

    Great tutorial and photo 👍. I wouldn’t think to put a graduated filter over the whole photo and then use the range mask like that. I’ll definitely bear it in mind in the future 👍

    Nice) As far as I know u can get same results using split toning or curves, but this method allows to use multiple filters, that's dope!

    I would have liked to have seen a final before and after comparison. You have a nice presentation style.
    I rarely (never?) edit my photographs that much. I wouldn’t even think to do it. I guess that is something I need to wrestle with.
